There can’t be anyone out there who could dispute his greatness after seeing this. 77 years old and he’s still the whole package. From his vocals to OMG! that GUITAR! He appears relaxed and to be thoroughly enjoying himself. Such a joy to see. The band deserves mention as well. Who isn’t perfection? Doyle continues to shine. Just unbelievable.

I like it that there are several black musicians in the line-up - bass, drums and 2 female choir-singers If I looked well -, that give a more retained and deep, I think, type of approach to the music...Eric Clapton voice's is not mixed louder than the other voices too, as it is usually done in bands with a leader usually...At least that's the case in the 1st song (only one I listened to so far...). Nice, and I like it...
Well, old Eric is still standing and kicking, right? We love the guy! May he stil play after WWIII!!!

I was there visiting from USA with my son! What a privilege to see this great artist. Acoustics were amazing.
I was right there by the stage! The support from the audience was just incredible. You could really see Eric & The Band buoyed up by that and playing at their best. Unforgettable!

Lucky dude. I had a chance to see Cream when I was 14 but passed cuz I thought I'd catch them next time through town. Alas, it was not to be!
I saw the concert in Antwerp yesterday also by the stage,so i'm very glad with the video on youtube. It was a great concert with so much hits ,beautiful music and almost no talking between the songs ,which I like because more music is better.
The best place to see Eric in concert is a small venue, back in the 80s I saw him with Gary Brooker in a small hall with an audience of a few hundred people..It was a warm up for his American tour..
Although at the age of a grandfather he still can sing.Long live Eric
It's good that Eric Clapton is out on the road again. Glad he can still plat guitar after his COVID shot reaction.
I'm going to see him for the first time in September at NYC. I'm pretty sure I'll be sharing some tears of joy :')

Eric is singing better than he ever has. His voice has mellowed and ripened to an edge, richness and confidence that has been a slow build over the years. Great show.
I thought just the opposite cant understand a word he sings no depth or colour to his voice. Have to tip my hat to him for hanging in there

@@bobhope3716 Truth: Rather than spoling for a fight by dismissing me as a label and seeking out conflict which we have more than enough of in the world already why don't we just agree that we differ about the development of his voice, and instead just celebrate the fact that what unites us is that we both value and appreciate Eric. You could well be right about his voice not having changed this past 10 years. We have different ears and emotional receptors. Peace and love.
Nonsense, both Clapton and McCartney sound like tin whistles compared to their 80's power, which is fine, just acknowledge it and accept that old age and a million Marlboro's in their younger days have taken their toll, not denying they're still musical legends.

I am so glad to see this. I was involved in all this mess, trying to work out the science of the COVID crimes & the waxxine injuries EC has recovered from (so it seems, mercifully).
A brief human highlight was late night listening to a wonderful conversation between Eric & Bobby Kennedy Jr.

Ik was er bij! Clapton is nog steeds een geweldenaar op gitaar! Je herkent zijn sound met je ogen dicht. Ook de band was geweldig met allemaal grote muzikale namen. Super! Paar minpuntjes vond ik: af en toe slecht geluid, Clapton zelf had nauwelijks contact met het publiek, en het was met ruim anderhalf uur toch wel aan de korte kant. Buiten dat, super!

The only version of "How Long" I've ever heard is the 1976 original by Ace. It's a real treat to hear it covered by Eric's band.
The original is from 1932 by a guy named Leroy Carr. According to Muddy Waters it was the first song Muddy tried to learn on guitar.
