"Remember kids, before you do some logical task praise the emperor three times and praise the Omnisiah three times, or you will get like Timmy get corrupted by Vashtor"
I can see Vashtorr being a good way of bringing Perturabo back into the setting as he would be the perfect "God" for the Iron Warriors to worship/follow
I think Perturabo didn't ascend to Daemonhood but was Forged. Now I always thought it was the Forge itself he did this but now withVashtorr being the one to communicate with him it works.
@@DarkApostleNoek I like that theory. Makes more sense than hime becoming a daemon primarch because he hates daemons and pretty much all things warp related. Vashtorr seems to be the middle ground for Perturabo and him being "Champion of the Soulforge" would be freaking awesome.

@@TechNinjaSigma it makes even more sense now that I think of it: Nekravol creates demons and saps the souls of the living out of them to do so, kinda like how daemons pay with souls and are remade into demon engines. Abd the crucible fits because the corpse of the Icon of Sin was remade into the new Icon of Sin 😂
If you think about it, the demons of Davoth are a mix of Nurgle and Vashtorr in a way Technology is very common (Cyberdemon ane Mancubus for example) in Doom's Hell. Fleshy yucky stuff (Gore Nests and Hell being all fleshy) is a major vibe.
It struck me as well, a very relevant source of inspiration as mentionned in other comments : the Cyberdemon, Mancubbi, Arachnotron et al. are this unholy mix of hell and tech ( "oh yeah, let's fix and augment this hulking monstrosity of a demon with implants and tech, what could go wrong?" ) I also really like how they took inspiration from Sauron and his love for heavy industry and how pollution is a weapon in itself, as clouds of miasma for Nurgle. It all just fits so well.
Vashtorr is one of the models and characters I'm most looking forward to as of late. He's got such a cool design and I love the idea of him being "the arms dealer of Chaos" who now wants in on The Great Game.
@@zogwort1522 I can see khorne having Vashtoor make super hectic melee weapons that are made with the genius of vashtoor and blessed with his own power every once and a while. He could be doing this for himself as I don’t think he’s ever been known for being super dead set on his followers making their own weapons, and probably wouldn’t mind his worshipers using better versions of melee weapons because they don’t break any of his rules. I could also see him make a one off Giga blade that he makes the prize of a completion. Since it would be a massive flex to get it, you’d have to be capable of a massive flex in order to get it, like a race to fill 80 worlds with 80 million skulls in 80 months or some crazy shit like that. Doesn’t really matter either way but I do think it would be cool to see that. Another terrifying thing Vashtoor is likely capable of is making Drach’nyn a body he can possess, like he did the archemendrite. That’s a horrifying to think about
Ya know, vashtor is basically the chaos equivalent of guillimans logistical mathematical skill combined with pertys engineering skill. Which is a major problem being chaos has never had a character capable of the patience and logical ability to counteract someone like guilliman. Or that's how I see him
@gandalf8216 no doubt magnus wooped his ass in a fight, but that's not really what I mean. On a galaxy wide scale, magnus has kind of been small potatoes. He's either throwing lightning at fenrus or trying to cast a spell to make him another inch taller. In terms of logistics and galaxy spanning military intelligence and organizational skills, magnus can't hold a candle to either one of them. I think sometimes it can be really easy to forget that when talking about one group or person against another, we aren't talking about a legit fight. Guilliman has done far more with his Legion and then with the imperium than magnus has done with anything.
@dfailsthemost lol I know people give perterabo crap sometimes, but he is or at least was the most effective traitor primarch and Legion. He hard carried the siege of Terra. I think tho, it's gonna take some combo of the necrons and somebody else to take on the tyranids in a serious way. Be interesting tho
This demon really seems more lawful than chaotic. More like a legendary Devil of Hell, than a demon of chaos. He's still very terrifying, perhaps more so because of this. Wonder when the second book will be out?
@@dingodave89 he’s what happens when chaos is perpetuated by outside influence, think of every proxy war used to develop new tech, mass panics induced on purpose for sociological testing, coup or civil war organized by an outside power, etc. In all the situations I listed, chaos is key to allowing someone else to achieve their goal, it is chaos nonetheless and that is Vashtoors link to the chaos gods. He is controlled chaos used as a means to an end, perhaps not always succeeding, but always with a cold logic behind it that runs contrary to the chaos such logic produces
@@DarthAxolotl In a galaxy where just about the majority is always filled with chaotic strife, a small organized corner of heinous evil seems like the most chaotic thing
The chaos god of hubris, basically. I think he is what the chaos pantheon needs. Some villain that has a changed modus operandi. The fact he just tells you straight up what's going on, and you still find yourself intrigued, is *chefs kiss*
That would be the Emperor, if he become the Dark King, it would be the Chaos God of Order, where he doesn't want to be a God, many people worship him as one.
I really want to see Vashtor to ascend to Godhood. I need an army of hereteks, tech-marines, and tech-demons all under one banner on the battlefield. It would also be pretty cool to have some xenos defect to his banner as well, like a Dark Eldar homunculus or a Necron Tomb World becoming corrupted. Would be awesome!
Could you imagine, because of him “employing” demons of other gods, we start seeing some cross-corruption and his armies have variants of other things from other Chaos Gods.
@TDZ Bacon Or even better yet, stuff where two things get mashed together. Imagine the remnants of a greater deamon of Tzeetch and Khorne smashed together in a new kind of soul grinder that hates itself as much as the enemy? Or followers weaponizing deamon weapons of other factions to be used in advanced weaponry, like a portable hell cannon? Or even more fun: a heretek that uses pieces of deamons attached to his body to fight with. The possibilities of mixed chaos are awesome.
There’s zero chance Necrons or Dark Eldar will worship him. Dark Eldar are still suffering from Slaanesh influence of old. Necrons are incapable of worshipping chaos
Yes he takes over the mechanicus and they take em aside and present him the void dragon shard and kneel hailing him the machine god knowing he is the emperor he then stares at them thinking how did they know lol idk but would love a tech god too come out and actually has affect on the necrons
As a guy who normally tries to run dark Admech, I am super stoked for this model to come out and will get it once I see it. The lore from this video has made me check the site for preorders, and super hyped to get it. It just sits right with who I am as a person
I like to choose a favorite army for each faction, but I've never been able to settle on any of the 4 factions for Chaos, and choosing Undivided feels like a cop out to me. Vashtorr is now definitely my choice for Chaos
I always thought that Chaos might be needing a faction like the mechanicus when it comes to providing arms, with Vashtorr make an appearance that means we're getting a daemon arms dealer and the dark mechanicum is making more actual appereance.

What I really love about Vashtorr, and I hope that they stick with it, is how brutally honest he is. Usually, it is characters like Khorne who are expected to be brutally honest, so I am glad that we got a smart guy who is honest. I just think that it helps him stand out more: magic is always positioned as opposed to science and logic, but to a creature made of magic, it would be as natural as math is to us, so I think that it's just a cool and underused trope, that of "logic demon", creature that sees, instead of "threads of magic", rows of numbers and concepts. Also, if he becomes chaos god, I say Vashtorr's number should be 5. Edit: on the topic of the line "at least our rebellion was just", or something like that, the thing that Abby said, I keep going back to rebellion of the Man of Iron. Some threw out idea that Vashtorr could've been behind it, some liked it and some don't, but what if Emperor (or Malcador or the organization that he belonged to) actually struck a deal with Vashtorr to fuck over the Men of Iron because they believed that bioengineering was the only way to properly fight Chaos (or something along those lines)
I prefer his number to be 10, which was appropriate, since the numbers of the other gods are 6,7,8,9, and it would also a reference to the binary code, but the number 5 is also good
I think this is one of the largest changes of the entire lore in forever (that is, assuming Vashtorr does become the 5th God of Chaos, something that is not guaranteed). Since its inception 40K (and fantasy and AoS to a great degree) has been defined by its relation between the mortal realms and the warp. But specifically the 4 gods of Chaos and this has been pretty much static since the beginning. Yes, they are extremely powerful and dangerous, but by never changing, they effectively go against the very nature of the Warp (that is of permanent change). In this Vashtorr becoming a 5th God of Chaos would forever alter the Pantheon of Chaos, destabilize the 8 pointed star and usher in even more insanity than ever (exactly what Chaos is at its heart). But again, his Apotheosis is not guaranteed by any means and we will see if at the end of the Arks of Omen, he does or does not become the 5th. Interestingly, I think this finally answers a question I've had since forever. Perturabo became a Demon Prince, but owed his allegiance to none of them, as none of the 4 had anything in common with Perturabo and even taken as a whole Perturabo would still be against all 4 thematically, even corrupted. But what if Perturabo was approached by Vashtorr after the Siege of Terra and after the Cage. Being both beings of brutal logic, there would be a not exactly kinship, but precise alignment. Perturabo knowing he would need some way to survive, could have become Vashtorrs Demon Primarch in secret, only paying lip service to the other 4, while aiding directly to support Vashtorrs goals, and in fact aiding Vashtorr become a Chaos God directly aids Perturabo. In fact the whole Iron Warriors Legion after their turn to Chaos, effectively became Demon Forge worshippers. Their strongholds are Demon Forges and they revel in the creation of ever more insane and powerful Demon Engines. I would be little surprised if when Perturabo is once again touched, that he made this pact with Vashtorr and thus has been aiding his true master ever since. In fact he basically serves this position within the traitor legions, that of arms dealer, while aligning with none.
@@teejay1646 The Great Horned rat is Fantasy and AoS only, until such time as a Skaven equivalent comes out in 40K, so that one does not count. Malal has not been part of the canon for a long time and his status is unknown in the current 40K. He may or may not be out there, but until they come out with Malal content on the same level as they are doing with Vashtor, Vashtor will have more sway in the Chaos Pantheon than Malal ever has.
@@antonioj700 even then it is nowhere near even the level of Vashtor, who is just a Demi-God, not even a full god. While he may or may not be reintroduced into the setting, until he returns with a major plot line that alters the balance of the universe (as Vashtor is doing). He will remain just another of 40K's many lore strings that may or may not be used. For now, he just doesn't exist in a meaningful way. Thx as usual Wes! Been a lot of fun going through all of your old videos. I listened to a few vids from The Amber King too. Thx for that recommendation. Have you seen the 40k episode on Secret Level? You could do a quick breakdown of that episode. I loved the way you broke down Space Marine 2 and Titus is back for this episode!
Man, it'd be pretty awesome if they revealed that Vashtorr was the true Omnissia that the Mechanicum worshipped. Major crisis of faith that could result in the Ad Mech breaking off from the rest of the Imperium!
Nahhhh, we already have a chaos admech faction that has been neglected for faaaaar too long, glory to the fifth Chaos God Vashtorr!!!! Besides, that gimmick that you just described belongs to the Void Dragon, this guy is both cool and new within the franchise.
@@adamlucashill725 yeah, i know, but we have already an admech version of the chaos marines, they also escaped the imperium into the Eye after the Horus Heresy, It's called the Dark Mechanicus and a new evil admech would render one of the two redundant
Wait…so if the forge exists in Fantasy and 40k…that means B’elakor must owe Vashtorr a huge debt for hijacking the forge during that stunt he pulled in the campaign to find Ursun in Total War: Warhammer 3
I’m super excited to see what they are going to do with Vashtorr. It’s so nice to see some new life breathed into chaos. Always loved the Iron Warriors and really want to see more Dark Mechanicum, this guy seems like a great way to get them all back onto the main stage. Also, he’s a unique god, love me a mad scientist
As a fresh 40K newbie, I haven't really resonated yet with any of the chaos gods, but Vashtorr seems very, very interesting. An arms dealer with a boatload of leverage unto creatures that may or may not be more nefarious than himself. I like how you called him "mathematically evil" and that he doesn't lie. Sounds like you can work with him or be left in the dust behind him. Would love to see more of his rise to stupefying might! :)
I absolutely love your story telling and vocabulary. You really drive the point and feeling home. I hope you give a storytelling about the Arks of Omen overall but hey if I am gonna learn about AoO I'd rather hear it from you, Luetin09, Majorkill, and Adeptus Ridiculous.
Found my chaos god of choice here, a being of logic and exact wording, which I think will be used against Abaddon when Vashtorr ascends to proper godhood, but yeah the fact that Vashtorr exists makes me feel we will be seeing a lot more of Perterabo and the Dark Mechanicum
I started with the Ragnar Blackmane and Crusade for Armageddon (Black Templars) novels. Next I think I read Uriel Ventris and Blood Angels collections. Gaunt's Ghosts, Caiphas Cain, and Eisenhorn/Ravenor are also great.
I think Vashtorr is going to be quite interesting as well as being a really cool looking model. If Vashtorr heralds the dark mechanicum as a playable subfaction with new models and rules in the future it'd be mega cool :D
The phrase "A weapon more powerful then anything we;ve seen in the lore" because a lot more frightening when you remember the impirium had world breaker weapons and giant machines that could eat stars, Trazyn had a death star, and the necrons as a whole had god breaker weapons.
Probably said by a whole lot of others by now but to quote Neil Gaiman “the devil will tell you the exact literal truth and let you find your own way to hell”.
Had a friend recommend your channel because of your Tees. Well done with the sponsor. Also the content is awesome, just feels weird seeking out a UA-camr for their ads.
Always a big fan of the 'Order within Chaos, Chaos within Order' trop, just fun to me. Also love the fact the other demons are just so straight up confused by this guy being to the point they trap _themselves_ into eternal servitude. lol
Wes what do you think of MALAL / MALICE? I loved his lore and prefer him to be the 5th Chaos God instead, but Vashtorr seems pretty interesting as well, as a god of invention
I can't help but notice one of the books is titled 'Angron.' I speculate that the full page redacted obituary of Commissar Yarrick was essentially an ad for it.
One hint about what the future may hold can be found in the 30k/Horus Heresy "Bound Daemons" list. It divides the eight-pointed star of Chaos into eight Chaos factions, each one opposite their "enemy": At the top is "Encroaching Ruin" (Undivided) opposite "Ravenous Dissolution" (Malal/Malice) at the bottom. Next, clockwise, is the "Infernal Tempest" (Tzeench) opposite the "Putrid Corruption" (Nurgle). *Then, crucially for this video, "Malevolent Artifice" (Vashtorr) is at the 3 o'clock position, opposite "Formless Distortion" (????!).* Next, and lastly, "Rapturous Sensation" (Slaanesh) is opposite "Heedless Slaughter" (Khorne). In the center of the eight-pointed star is the phrase "Primordial Annihilator" which I am sure we are all familiar with!
I'm so glad that I found your channel last year, since I love the lore of WH40K and these "long form lore" videos make me listen to them like it is the Imperial propaganda (and there is an Inqisitor in front of me), especially when I am blessed by the gifts of our Grandfather Nurgle (just like now) and trying to get some rest because i can't do sh*t while I'm sick. So thank you for these banger lore videos you make. We really appreciate them. Oh, and one more thing while we are talking about Chaos again... Lord Inqisitor! this heretic has been spotted spreading unholy and Chaos-tainted speaches on Holy Terra itself, the heart of our beloved Imperium of Man and the resting world of God-Emperor himself!! (May Emperor's light shine upon us) again. Since you have been reported you may expect the arrival of God-Emperor's (May Emperor's light shine upon us) mercy soon... heretic... Don't ask me why, just wrote it for the memes.
If Vashtor joins the chaos pantheon he’s gonna have to change his colour palette, Tzeentch already called dibs on blue so he’s probably only left with yellow
I can absolutely see him becoming gestalt when the Manhattan Project was succeed in creating the atombomb. And then gaining consciousness when the Men of Iron rebelled/turned to chaos. I really love this charactervand how much potential there is with him. Dark Mechanicus, Perturabo, heck, they could even bring in a squad of said fallen Men of Iron as a counterpoint to Votann's Ironkyn. I would be shocked if he didn't become the fifth chaos god after this campaign. Like in AoS the Horned Rat officially became the fifth chaos god. It just makes sense.
There are the five-ish chaos gods in the warp, and now there are the five lore gods in real space. Major kill, the lore god of dumbassery Lutin09, the lore god of ________ (I will find out later) Adeptus ridicules, lore god of three heads Weshammer, lore god of dope hair and defeater of major kill Boldimort, lore god of ASMR, stories, and gentle reader
I go to the gym as well and know 40k lore... I am just not a dooshbag about it like MajorKill. You can tell that is the type of guy that, the moment he put on ANY amount of gains, he was subtly flexing through every human interaction he had.
I'm obsessing over Vashtorr and Abaddon's conversation, and it makes me wonder if the "weapon" that Vashtorr was to help find, could be the same one mentioned in the Terminus Decree. I can't wait to see how the lore develops!
I think he'll be like the Horned Rat in Fantasy or Hashut: with enough power to be considered a non-Undivided Chaos God but still not powerful enough to be one of the Big Four.
14:07 this ability looks exactly like an artifact from Hummer And Bolter: Kill Protocol episode. And also emperor had such ability but was clearly not so powerful. On his arrival to mars he fixed Titan's leg, but that's probably not the same level as fixing a spaceship in the void of warp. And it makes me think that the emperor just happens to possess the same artifact as in Kill Protocol and just fixes titan's leg with it and masks it as if he did it by himself.
Bro I just got into to 40k and i pretty much learned the entire history without certain specific arcs for example the dark Eldari but mostly a lot of it . This series are so cool and I love it and its all because of this guy he's so reliable and its awesome how dedicated it your content is great keep it up!
It could be possible that Vashtorr is actually a piece of the Omnissiah yeah? Could see his rise to godhood being the cause of a new split within the Mechanicum, reducing the Imperium’s power even more
Calling it now. They did a survey years ago about most requested faction and dark mechanicum won out. I bet this sets the stage for him being the head of a new faction release in tenth
Vashtor's realm sounds like blasphemy onto the physical plane and onto the warp by blending the two together Unrelated to that- does Malice have his own realm as well...
He is a Persona that the no individual Chaos God can just 'yeet' out of existence.... We see them slap around strong Daemon Princes like ease, so that alone makes it interesting.
A chaos god of the Forge of Souls actually makes a lot of sense with how strong it seems to be and how all daemons come to it regardless of alignment. This could be our Chaos God of Chaos Undivided.
I think this, and Constantin Valdor coming back is possibly some of the best lore they've added in years. Please tell me you're doing a video on the King in Yellow
Honestly bro i wasnt interested in your channel until you did gene stealer cults. You did a good job kept it cool and new your stuff. Now i actively look for your channel for new content. More power to you hombreh
I think I love the idea of a Choas god who does not lie, does not trick, and does not steal. The Daemons are so used to f'ing each other over for nothing, that they doom themselves trying to see lies where there is only truth.
Gotta admit, that's an angle I like. They just straight up can't understand Vashtorr is being up front with them, assume that they can find some way to wiggle out of the parts that seem impossible to finish... and end up slaves because they just accepted the forgefather of all EULA's.
The most interesting is what is his sign? I just love depicting the existing four sigils and the Chaos Star, and the fifth mark would definitely expand that set
without reading other comments to see if this has been written already. I personally believe that Vashtorr is the chaos incarnation of the omnissiah and he owns the domain of not only technology, but potentially progress. And his whole thing will be the opposite of nurgle with things being created and invented with time or new things being discovered. (that could technically also be tzeentch but bleh)
Ok seriously. I absolutely love your brand of advertisement. Start video with quick, what are we looking at today, then hey guys, here's my sponsor, bam straight to the content I crave. Then, right near the end, quickly mentions video your CURRENTLY working on. as in it's happening, just wait for it peeps. Fuckin SSS+ in my books. Top ranks, perfect score.
I think we all would love to see Vashtorr and Abaddon take on Belisarius Cawl and Roboute Guilliman, as they seem to be foils on each side of the Warp.
I loved him. He could shake so much in the lore with the Mechanicus, my favorite faction. The mechanicus have a big rule to "NOT MAKE ANYTHING NEW" witch makes a whole more sence now becouse verytime you invent something, this daemon dude just get that much more powerful. I can see him beeing the Guardian of the Akashic Reader too, a poweful machine never to be completed made during the horus heresy on Mars. Imagine the possibilities!
Passages from "Angel Exterminatus" and "Slaves To Darkness" reference that Perturabo's soul is being siphoned in a way that resembles what happens to the Drukhari. Some theorize that Perturabo has been missing from the setting, because he didn't ACTUALLY go daemon. In his refusal to bend to Chaos, he's been spending his time trying to stop, or circumvent that siphoning. Essentially turning himself into a Dreadnought. Others say that he just kind of decided, "fukkit" and went daemon because it was the only way. Backed into a corner, similarly to Magnus and Mortarion. But the quote about how Perturabo and The Iron Warriors want to force order upon Chaos really reminded me of a different theory. There's that one theory that talks about how the Emperor was ACTUALLY actively seeking Godhood. He wanted to become a fifth Chaos God, and basically be a Chaos God of "Order" This is such a tin-foil hat, cooked conspiracy, that I think could be somewhat correct for no other reason than the fact that it is so insanely, "wtf" But here it is; I would open up the theory by referencing to the fight between Guilliman, and Mortarion. Where the Emperor basically possessed Guilliman's body to completely dunk on Mortation. The biggest thing that pressed Perturabo to go traitor, was his jealousy and anger towards Dorn. By the time we get to the Siege of Terra, Perturabo is kind of done with everybody's bullshit. But just stayed traitor because he was just kind of way too invested at this point. He was over all of the bullshit, so he busted up the palace and basically said, "Alright, cool, I've fulfilled my oath, I upheld my end of the bargain, I don't really have anything else for y'all, GLHF." withdrawing all of his forces and ragequitting. Perturabo regretted going traitor after he saw how far his brothers plunged into madness. But it isn't like he could ever come back to the Imperium. I would also like to note the Fulgrim clone. The Fulgrim clone was perfect. Since his original body got yoinked by the daemon. And then there was the Horus clone. The Horus clone was a little piece of shit. But the Fulgrim clone was LITERALLY him. The Primarchs are not their bodies. The Primarchs are their souls. Perturabo's soul is being siphoned / eaten away. And he regrets going traitor. Perturabo and the Emperor have such a hardcore anti-god/anti-warp mindset. What if Perturabo comes back as like, an "avatar of order", the Emperor is filling the gap of Perturabo's soul. Emperor is channeling himself through Perturabo in a way. Or similarly to the Sanguinor, what if Perturabo comes back as like, "an imperial daemon"? Writing this has also made me consider another conspiracy that is a MILLION times more cooked. Vashtorr is such an interesting Chaos entity. This dude doesn't play around. He doesn't do deceptive-daemon shit. He just has a good time being the arms dealer of Chaos. Just chilling at The Forge Of Souls making stuff, and the Chaos Gods don't really mess with him, cause I mean, he literally makes their shit, so they can't really get rid of him. The warp is completely unstable. The Chaos Gods have to begrudgingly accept his existence because of how influential he is. This lad literally binds lesser daemons to his will via contract. And Perturabo is known for his expert craftsmanship, and innovation. Vashtorr owes no allegiance to anything but himself. Even the high and mighty all-powerful pantheon of Chaos is essentially stuck kneeling to The Arkifane due to his purpose. What if Perturabo found a way to master the Warp...? What if he truly found a way to dominate it? What if Vashtorr IS Perturabo? Vashtorr is just a version of Perturabo from the future, finding Vashtorr in the current setting due to a combination of time shenanigans, and warp spaghetti. Or Vashtorr is a version of Perturabo from an alternative universe/timeline/reality. Or at the very least, due to the soul drainage it might not be Perturabo COMPLETELY, but what if there are just pieces / remnants of Perturabo within Vashtorr? Kind of like how Magnus was shattered into the various shards. Those shards are incredibly powerful, with Malcedor literally creating The Gray Knights using them. So what if it's something somewhat similar?

As an avid Doom fan I love how the concept arts of Nekravol and the Crucible just seamlessly fit into Warhammer
Right?
@@TechNinjaSigma it makes even more sense now that I think of it: Nekravol creates demons and saps the souls of the living out of them to do so, kinda like how daemons pay with souls and are remade into demon engines.
Abd the crucible fits because the corpse of the Icon of Sin was remade into the new Icon of Sin 😂
If you think about it, the demons of Davoth are a mix of Nurgle and Vashtorr in a way
Technology is very common (Cyberdemon ane Mancubus for example) in Doom's Hell. Fleshy yucky stuff (Gore Nests and Hell being all fleshy) is a major vibe.
Well not the demons per say but Doom's Hell as a whole
It struck me as well, a very relevant source of inspiration as mentionned in other comments : the Cyberdemon, Mancubbi, Arachnotron et al. are this unholy mix of hell and tech ( "oh yeah, let's fix and augment this hulking monstrosity of a demon with implants and tech, what could go wrong?" )
I also really like how they took inspiration from Sauron and his love for heavy industry and how pollution is a weapon in itself, as clouds of miasma for Nurgle.

Or that's how I see him
Ahem, remember Magnus the Red?
@gandalf8216 my point is really meant to be viewed on a macro scale as opposed to a pitched battle scale, that's all I really mean.
I kind of think RG should offer Perturabo a team up against the tyranids. I know he can't and wouldn't, but it would be kind of awesome.
His lack of chaos is what makes him chaotic. The whole section of how he tricks daemons by talking normally is a perfect example of this.
He is the "personification" of "organised chaos"

I prefer his number to be 10, which was appropriate, since the numbers of the other gods are 6,7,8,9, and it would also a reference to the binary code, but the number 5 is also good
Vashtor could be a man of iron who was corrupted by chaos
Ooo fun
As someone who’s starting aviation mechanics school, I’m glad to have a patron chaos god.

Sounds like an awesome addition to the 40k Universe, the Empire of Man has vilified technology so much it makes sense it would echo in the warp.
3:25 the slow pan to Nicolas Cage was truly a sight to behold
😂😂😂😂😂
You realize there's been a 5th chaos god in both fantasy and 40k right? Malal and the Great Horned Rat
@@teejay1646 The Great Horned rat is Fantasy and AoS only, until such time as a Skaven equivalent comes out in 40K, so that one does not count.

@@Keemperor40K well malal is " A THING" currently he is called malice and has his own traitor warhaband name sons of malice. Check it up
@@antonioj700 even then it is nowhere near even the level of Vashtor, who is just a Demi-God, not even a full god.
While he may or may not be reintroduced into the setting, until he returns with a major plot line that alters the balance of the universe (as Vashtor is doing). He will remain just another of 40K's many lore strings that may or may not be used.
For now, he just doesn't exist in a meaningful way.

One hint about what the future may hold can be found in the 30k/Horus Heresy "Bound Daemons" list. It divides the eight-pointed star of Chaos into eight Chaos factions, each one opposite their "enemy":
At the top is "Encroaching Ruin" (Undivided) opposite "Ravenous Dissolution" (Malal/Malice) at the bottom.
Next, clockwise, is the "Infernal Tempest" (Tzeench) opposite the "Putrid Corruption" (Nurgle).
*Then, crucially for this video, "Malevolent Artifice" (Vashtorr) is at the 3 o'clock position, opposite "Formless Distortion" (????!).*
Next, and lastly, "Rapturous Sensation" (Slaanesh) is opposite "Heedless Slaughter" (Khorne).
In the center of the eight-pointed star is the phrase "Primordial Annihilator" which I am sure we are all familiar with!

Then, right near the end, quickly mentions video your CURRENTLY working on. as in it's happening, just wait for it peeps. Fuckin SSS+ in my books. Top ranks, perfect score.
I Absolutely love Vashtorr, whole concept is so awesome.
I gotta say, I really like this vashtorr guy!
He wanted to become a fifth Chaos God, and basically be a Chaos God of "Order"
This is such a tin-foil hat, cooked conspiracy, that I think could be somewhat correct for no other reason than the fact that it is so insanely, "wtf" But here it is;
I would open up the theory by referencing to the fight between Guilliman, and Mortarion.
Thanks for your work, your narrative style is amazing, Netflix and all streaming platforme should be ashamed for not having a storyteller like you bringing very intersting the the cream of Warhammer 40 K
There will be a series on Amazone but I'm so affraid, I'm sur they will not catch the true meaning of this univers, Even if loooking forward into the futur is impossible, I have this deep feeling of them cutting the edge of this universe in order to reach the most people, Money over quality ...
Thank you, keep up, this is one of the best serie I love to watch each evening since you started making longer video (Your short one were already amazing)
Finally 😁 Waiting for another episode felt like forever😀
