Sacresants were my first Sisters unit I bought. I have run them in every game I’ve played so far. They look awesome and perform decently well in casual games.
Since i started my interest in Sisters, i have watched you and heard of your general distaste for Retributors and how they are just ineffective for the cost. But there is something within me that enjoys that and wants to include them in all my lists.
You can, of course, do whatever you like. Just keep in mind... -Space Marine Devastators cost 120pts, can carry Lascannons or Gravcannons, are T4 W2 -Chaos Havocs cost 125pts, can carry Lascannons, and are T5 W2 -Drukhari Scourges cost 130pts, carry Darklances, and can move back into cover after they shoot
Sorry to miss the live, needed to catch up on sleep after only getting like 2.5 yesterday. Yeah, the detachment name for SoB is underwhelming and the Miracle Dice nerf is just a pinch to far (maybe make it 1 at the start of the turn again?) still need to finish that Vehicle-themed detachment I was working on, but I have a backlog of other stuff before I can even touch 40K homebrew ATM, and finishing my notating on the grosmas detachments and the dataslate are only a couple of them.
You are mt go to for sisters of battle info and strategies. Alot of why I stuck with the army! 5.5k pts so far. But id love to see you get into Daughters of khaine (aos) I think you'll love the vibes!
I am proud to say I was able to out play the new starshatter detachment for the Necrons in a 1k game with champions of faith. Novitiates infiltration with a simulacrum are your friends. to get miracle dice rolling.
You mention that proxying Crusaders, is easy, and that celestian sacresancts should have two wounds. Why not just use celestian sacresancts as crusader proxys, and kill two heretics with one stone?

Wait so... if I can have Celestine and her Geminae on the field and put wounds on Celestine before the Geminae, does that mean I can deliberately kill Celestine, leaving behind a unit of 2 Geminae, then revive Celestine as her own unit to then herself use healing tears to revive 2 more geminae? Probably not, but the thought is funny.
This isn't quite how it works. When a character revives as part of a squad, it gets put back into its original unit. So celestine getting killed with both geminae surviving has her joining her original squad with full wounds and 2 companions.
@PatrixBest this is also how lead units work just so you know. If a cannoness gets sniped from a squad. Then you use the heroic intervention stratagem. If any of the bodyguard units are alive still at the end of the phase. You get added back to your original attached unit.
I dont get the hate for sacrecants. They are super tanky with a hospitaller w 10 models. Small guns dont kill them and you dont want to shoot them when there are 3 casticator behind. Their punch is heavy. They were highly contributing in my rt win pre nerv and tanked 3 rounds of abbadon sweeps… in the end 10 models back on the field. Just stage em well in the middle, trade and control…
No matter how bad things get. Just remember. The Emperor Protects.

Sacresants should be toughness 4 or 2 wounds each.
