This was a very great concert, no lip sync, all music was real, Karen of course can open her mouth and the words flow like a as a natural waterfall. As original to watching them in a recording studio, of course with out any dubbing or correcting.
    Wonderful!
Richard, you and sister made the world a special place with your talents.

When I first heard Mr. Guder, many years after hearing their hit songs, I was blown away by the Beatlesque sound. Truly gifted individuals.

Why doesn't Richard remaster their live performances and release ALL their live shows ???? He has the masters to ALL of this stuff - he could really be better about promoting their legacy. They OWN all their live performances - no record labels, publishing issues, network royalties, and live performances are owned by the performer in full. We wouldn't have to strain and crave for a PROPER well mixed, LIVE Carpenters show!!!!!!

  • @user-ik9mo8wm7q

I liked Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower, all those heavier bands. Just because the carpenters didn’t sound like that certainly doesn’t make them “uncool.”Just a different genre of music. But I bet you if Richard had said we’ve got to go and get a heavier rock sound, Karen would’ve made that happen vocally if they decided to do that
She could’ve done it. No doubt.

As SOON! as Karen stops singing the magic of the entire group disappears. The song just before " Its the end of the world" seam so mechanical but when she comes in with that song wow so soothing and then after that song the groups comes back without her voice and again "walking in the Rain" and the "Little run away" Its not that the songs are sung badly its just not the magic of Karens voice anymore. Is it just me?
