This is great work. I checked the Hackaday and Github pages to download the PCB to order one on JLCPCB, but it looks like you didn't post it yet. I'd love to order some boards and play with it over here as I'd love to move my 3D printed robot arm to BLDC's and this looks like a cool pathway to do it with.

This board is a revision away from being ready. Hopefully I'll have some for sale in a few weeks :)

Nope, it has a magnetic encoder and a diametrically polarized magnet to close the loop.
