She said she only wants to express her feelings on what she saw about big issue or problem in the society through writing and she all doing this for her fans😊

I don't look like any of my parents, when I was born my whole family thought that I was a monkey and I was born with some hair but it was really thick. I would also always try to climb up my family members and Walls 😂 I'm still a weird kid and I still don't resemble anyone other than a monkey or chimpanzee
"She just got done changing for him." I think that's the biggest lesson she's trying to teach. I don't think it's necessarily anti plastic surgery in general. I think it's more about not changing just to please other people or society. I'm really glad you gave her a try. If you're wanting to continue the journey, I'd recommend Dollhouse next. It's also got a pretty deep message. One thing I think should be pointed out is that the album that features this song "Cry Baby" is very much a concept album. It follows one character and everything connects. The videos are all very artistic and can stand alone. But they'll make more sense if you watch them in order. The song that starts the whole journey is the title track "Cry baby".

yea definitely. mel has explained this song has hard for her to make because she didn’t wanna offend ppl who get plastic surgery because she thinks everyone should do what they want. but she more so wants to talk about the ideas of body image in society and how it impacts ppl. all of mel’s music is so deep and beautiful it’s great lol.

What I really get irritated by when watching people react to Melanie is they talk over the video or don’t watch the video and I feel like you need to pay attention to the lyrics and video when it comes to Melanies music to understand what is happening. I’m happy you payed attention to both.

I like how he actually understands what Melanie is trying to say but if you look at someone else's videos reacting to Melanie they dont really understand anything that Melanie is trying to inform. so I think this reaction is better than most people.

Yeah, as others have said it's not about actual surgery, it's about a few things. Changing yourself for others for one. It's a waste, the song says, because once someone has that kind of power over you, they're likely just to throw you away. But also the whole idea of artiface. About how beauty basically means artificial to a lot of people.

All of her music has a huuuge message behind it. I always cry when I just sit and listen. Been a fan forever and its crazy how people judge her for her style but when I try to actually tell them what she stands for they are just like "oh?" like yes, give her a try, her art is beautiful.

Nice to see not only 12 year olds like Melanie Martinez. Maybe I'm lame but like, Melanie Martinez is like food to my soul, even though it's targeted to the younger generation, like I still need that. I did not grow up alright. I wasn't taught how to love myself. That's cool though. This is the first video I watched from you and it turns out that you react to metal too. I like that. I have a varying music taste but metal is still my favorite, or maybe I should say hardrock, idk but that too. For someone who used to call herself a metalhead, I think that pop music in this day and age seems to become better than it used to be. Pop music is not just about sex, drugs and partying anymore. I mean, look at Billie Eilish and Halsey too, those are also great pop artists. Halsey actually released a song that is leaning more towards metal, it's called Experiment On Me. She released it for the movie Birds Of Prey. It'd be nice if you reacted to it if you haven't already. I'll go further check out your channel :p

What really upsets me in this clip, is that the girl is already so beautiful. She doesn't need a facelift or bigger boobs, she's amazing just how she is naturally. But because Mr Potatohead wants her to get a facelift, she agrees. The result is devastating. What was supposed to make her beautiful only took away the beauty she had, and when the bandages are removed, he is shocked and she is now disgusted by her looks. They try to fix it with a wig and lipstick, but the despair on her face can't be hidden. She lost her beauty forever. And then she looks out the window to see him dating a new girl. That part is heartbreaking! She lost her beauty, so she lost him too. She hates what she has become and feels worthless, with no way of getting herself back. She's basically left with nothing, and no hope of it ever getting better again.

the reason the surgeon was a bunny/rabbit is because when she was younger she had a pet bunny but her parents had to kill it because they were moving and couldn’t take him/her with them.

Hello honestly I don't really comment much but I thought that this was worth while mentioning... I enjoy the way you do your commentary because it is a genuine reaction (of course I also love commentary that has been scripted) but I just thought that your commentary is interesting , because although you don't comment much when you watch the video but then you pause and analyse the lyrics which in my opinion is much better than just commenting on small details for the sake of breaking the silence when you're watching something which alot of reaction youtubers tend to do (not hating on any youtubers who do do that though). I think you should keep up the good work this the first video of yours that I'm watching (I'm now a subscriber) also I think just any melanie martinez songs have a really deep meaning to them and they all have strong imagery which makes you interested in them but I would recommend k-12 in general (any song from the album/movie) because they are all on really touchy subjects that are very relevant but she depicts the matters very well

i've been bullied for my appearance and been told i'm the ugliest person alive lots of times. But every time i look into the mirror i see nothing wrong and 4 years ago I met my boyfriend who saw nothing wrong either. it's been a long time but that music and the good people around me helped me heal. I really like melanie martinez i love all her songs and i am a person who make them self stand out like i have reallt long hair like way down my back and i have blue, black, purple and greenishblue soon to be all blue hair and a side shave and i were dark clothes and im a goth sooo yah and im 14. I got bullied for quite a while in my secondary school but i managed to tell my mum and she went ballistic and now no one bullies me and they cant cos of quarantine

Just a note you need a balance of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Added sugars aren't great but you do need carbs to be healthy. The best rule of thumb I've seen is, 'Eat a variety of things, not to much of any one thing, mostly vegetables.'
