You are the reason why I started to wash my hair in twist. It has been a game changer. It's definitely easier to detangle and I have way less single strand knots. Thank you so much for this gem
Natural Hair Is Beautiful! 🥳. Great video! Washing our hair in twists or braids should be a rule all type 4s follow... Detangling is probably he number one reason people stray from their natural journey. Such a great idea! I’ve had it on my list to do since shaving it all off and now that my hair is finally long enough I’m ready to start. Great video, beautiful hair and lovely woman. 🥰
do u use fresh twists or is it old twist? What i mean is if i use twists as a protective style for 2-3 weeks can i just wash it in those twist then detangle after? Or do i have to take it down from protective twist then detangle n retwist and wash?
GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY MY DARLING, OH THANKS I WASHED MY HAIR IN TWISTS AND IT WAS GREAT ,EASY AND QUICK I USED TO SPEND AGES IN THE BATHROOM ON WASH DAYS BUT NO MORE SHALOM
I just found your channel today. This is a great video. My hair is in two strand twists and I am ready to wash and twist my hair again. I’m going to give this a try. Thank you.
Maybe I missed it, but how does rinsing work with this style? How do you insure you have rinsed all of the product out while maintaining twist integrity?
@@adorahowell7223 Our hair is literally like sponge. If it’s saturated and squeezed, then everything comes out. There’s no reason anything would stay in.
It’s not a style. It’s twisted for the purpose of washing-that’s why they’re chunky twists. When you’re done washing, style your hair the way you want to wear it. You don’t maintain integrity of anything.
That moment when you’ve been natural for your whole life (20 years) and the longest your hair has been is slightly pass your collar bone/past your neck 🥴
Yasss!! I love these kinds of videos. Would you ever consider doing vlogs or day in the life videos?? Cheers and God bless you & your family. Much love from the USA.
Try using apple cider vinegar as a clarifier so you don't have a much as a reaction to products, you can mix it with tea tree lemon and or baking soda.... it is great as far as pH balancing😉
I shampoo in twist, but I don't do my twist tight like hers. I do mine loose, and I have 14 twists. The hair can't move freely when water runs through it because it's in twists. So what you do is, you shampoo each twist, but be gentle when shampoo your scalp. Please! Don't be rough or you will tangle it bad. Then you will take your fingers and stretch the roots out for every twist. Then I go in the bathroom in the mirror and take each twist down one by one and smooth the roots back into the length of the hair. I sometimes will seperate it and smooth it out like that. Then I twist it back up. I do this for each twist. Then I go back and rinse the shampoo out gently. Then put your conditioner on. Rinse it out how ever you feel. I don't like moisturizing shampoos. I feel like they don't clean well. I only have to shampoo once because I don't use oils or butters on my hair so once is enough. That helps with not getting lots of tangles, too.
Thoroughly rinse and saturate your hair. Dilute the shampoo in an applicator bottle and put it right into the roots so you’re not over manipulating for a lather. Only shampoo twice.
I have extremely sensitive skin and every wash day is so dreadful bc I always walk out of the shower having an allergic reaction 😭 in need of suggestions!

That was a very good & quick explanation of sulfate & it’s uses !
Maybe I missed it, but how does rinsing work with this style? How do you insure you have rinsed all of the product out while maintaining twist integrity?
Rinse in the 🚿 under running water 💦. Massage scalp AND the length of twists to ends to remove products. Repeat 2x
Same question I have. How does it actually come out of the hair strand while in twists
@@adorahowell7223 you squeeze the twists repeatedly until the water is clear

Hahaha
The struggle is definitely real 😭
Apparently your hair plateaus at a certain length and the max length varies from person to person. 😭
@@synrobyn Not true.
@@Thatslaw why is that?
I love love love your hair😍.. Length check on point sis🔥
I literally just replied your other comment. Haha! I’m glad you’ve seen it.

Very helpful video. Do you dc in twist? When do you detangle your hair - so beautiful.
Yes I do!💕
I wanna Try this but how will it still look neat after all this? like with Frizz and fly always
Can I do this if my hair is in tuts?
Plus if I am done washing it can I just leave it there and not remove it?
Hello dear how are you doing after the volgmas you have not upload I hope all is well
How do you avoid tangles at the roots?

For once, I am viewer one and comment one....Yaaas!!!
I’m glad!😄
Every time I shampoo in twist, the twist start to matte on each other at the roots. Any tips ?
Make sure your parts are clear and neat in the twists before washing.
Thoroughly rinse and saturate your hair. Dilute the shampoo in an applicator bottle and put it right into the roots so you’re not over manipulating for a lather. Only shampoo twice.
I'm late but braiding the roots saved me no more matting and webbing.
