This is literally my go to hairstyle. I’ve been doing it for about 3 years now and it’s grown my hair so much! I highly recommend it because you can wear it for soooo long. I usually wear this hairstyle for like 3 weeks and then wear it twisted out for 1 weeks. Love that people are doing this hairstyle more it’s so cute!!!
@@applesaucy0925 I can say twists are the most attractive hairstyle for guys imo and it’s beautiful. So 100/10 recommend. They remain in whatever size you do them in.
I was going to pay almost $300 to get my hair braided for my birthday next month, but I think I’m gonna do this style instead! So cute and I’ve always wanted to rock this style. Thanks for the tutorial ❤️
My hardest part is the parting but I really want to try this! I have quite some hair and I’m noticing that braiders want to start the quote at $900. For about $30 and 6 hrs of my time, I could really do this myself. Thanks for the tips 😊
I live in Charlotte, NC. I’ve gone into a shop before for a consultation and they look at my hair, the thickness and the length and want to start at $900 AND I have to bring my own hair. Now, my downfall is probably going to a shop over finding someone on IG that would probably do it for half that. But now that i’ve learned to just do my hair myself…..I don’t even bother.
I wanted to do this style on my hair over the Memorial Day weekend but got lazy 😫lol but seeing how much you got done in the 3 hours actually gave me hope/motivation. And I love how you sectioned your hair for prepping!
Omg! I feel you! I really kept putting off doing them because I was being so lazy! But the time honestly FLEW by! Lol🤣 And you can do them while watching movies or Netflix to pass time🤣🤗
I recently hit me that my hair has gotten so hard to maintain. My curls are struggling and clinging to life since my hair has tripled in length over the last couple years. I’m going to try this because I need to protect my hair from myself ahhh thank you
my hair is deep conditioning rn and im sitting here trying to figure out what hair style i wanna do because my birthday is next week and your vid popped up!!! girl im gonna be doing this you have no idea how much time you’ve saved me😂. also your hair is BEAUTIFUL
My 2nd time watching this video in a week! I big chopped my hair for the 2nd time a year ago and I’ve kept braids in my hair the whole time. Can’t wait to get to this length 😍
I've been doing mini twists a lot these days, I'm so glad I got some tips on how to make it better! I like having some twists in my face as well, it just enhances my face
I estimated 112 twists at first but when I saw the 3hiurs update I was like " maybe should add 100 more" . You did a lot during The last 47 minutes! Love your video
Yayyy!!! Welcome back! Always love your hair videos. I been trying out Briogeo hair products myself. I was in shocked to find out they are a black owned company. ✨💞
Wow! This video could not have come a y sooner. I literally was getting ready to put my hair in mini twists in the next week or two cause I very tired of dealing with it at the moment. Thank you so much for this very informative video!
I've been doing something like this with my hair for a while. But they look even prettier small! Definitely going to try it and with less heavy product. You made the smaller twists seem way less daunting..lol 🤩
I love these on you! Bless yo heart and hands!!! I also love how your green blouse coordinated with the green leave-in bottle and the deep conditioner bottle matched your white shirt! Didn’t think I peeped that huh 😉
It looks cute ☺️ You can get better results by doing the wash n go on soaking wet hair in the shower. Still use the same application technique but use water as needed, as it activates the products. Dry under a hooded dryer or diffuser until it’s at least 70% dry.
Girl I love mini twists that's my go to natural hair style but I've been rocking wash n go lately 😌 because I want to master it anyway I was really excited to see this video by you because i normally see u with wash n go so I wanted to see how u rock mini twists aka my favorite hair style 😊🥰
Omg I always been in love with your hair! You're one of my favorite curly hair influencer 😊 I might have to try this in my hair because I get tired of the wash & go's myself! Lol
Beautiful!! Twisted styles make my hair so flat. You have more volume than average, but I’m inspired to try again. Can you let me know if you twist with or against your natural curl direction? Thank you!
Love, love, love this, and I am planning to do mine shortly. Question - what does the wash routine look like when wearing these and how do you keep it from frizzing? ❤
At first i thought your hair had to be very long to acheive that style but there is barely any shrinkage!!! and you cant even see the parts wowww i love it, i think my hair is the same texture, mine may be a little bit thicker but hopefully i get similar results!
Love your video! How long do you plan to leave the twist in? Does your scalp ever itch when you leave twist in for a long time and if so, what do you do to combat this? Would love to see how it looks once you take the twist out and wear them. Again, awesome video! Your twist look amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Your twists look so good! Glad you tried them. We chatted about twists at Preakness after you saw mine. They should last you a couple weeks at least. 💙
Back in the mid 2000s I wore this style for about 3 years. I grew bored of it and I kept breaking my ends during take down. I kinda knew it but I see from this video that borrowing hair from the other side when I got to my ends was the culprit. Another issues that I cannot resolve is that after a few days my hair becomes so flat and unravels a bit at the root. I try to pump it up and fluff it up but it looks so flat and low volume despite my having super thick hair.
Are you still rockin the mini twists? If so can you please do a week in my hair- mini twists video? Thank you so much for the tutorial, especially for mentioning the tip about borrowing hair from another section (I never knew that). Definitely will try the Briogeo leave-in. I think I will use mousse or foam instead of gel.

So glad i saw this! I have the same amount of hair as you and the same type and did these and mine didn’t look nearly this good and I used a heavy cream and didn’t part it as good and now I see why mine didn’t turn out as good
My hair been twisted before but my hair is thing and very curly but the front is more on the waver side where it doesn't curl much i have to put a flexi rod to form the end curls.. anyway i have to do it that it will match the rest of the twists wow more than 100 twist it so beautiful great job 3 hours and 47 minutes wow not bad timing 👏 ♥️
Ugh I just did twists a couple days ago and mine are nothing compared to yours lmao 😭 gonna try to section the way you did to see if mine turn out better. I’m not good at sectioning so they are all literally different sizes 😂
