    Thank you so much for the information!! Now I know exactly why my hair was so frizzy. I love twists and I was worried that I was doing everything wrong, but now I know how to keep my twists moisturized and beautiful. This video means more than you know, and thank you so much again 😊❤

    If only I had known beforehand that spraying water directly on your hair makes it more frizzy. So now my 2 week old twists looks more like 3... 🥴 however, thank you for the information. And I love your background music 💜

    Hello beautiful, I have a question. I wear mini twist long term as "My Look". I been having an issue that's really making me bug. My night routine, daily moisture routine and retwist routine is on point my only dilemma is washing my minitwist. My goal is to Hot Oil Treat, poo, DC all my twist then finger detangle and retwist them one by one every two weeks but After I HOT, poo, DC my twist I go to take one down and my new growth is somewhat matted and difficult to finger detangle. What could I be doing wrong? Should I apply a leave in to my roots before I unravel? Should I use sulfur 8 on my roots before I unravel? What could I do to make my roots softer and easier to unravel after my HOT, poo, DC?

    Your hair is so beautiful and I like your videos.. I wonder whether the oil mix you use whether it does not clog up the pores on your scalp, depending on how often you do this? would it not hinder your hair growth and natural hair journey...

    • @BubsBee
      @BubsBee  7 років тому +4

      Thank you so much for the support. And personally for me, my scalp is so dry that within a couple of days the oil is gone off my scalp, I just started using this oil combination on my scalp and I haven't had a problem. Usually I would use just olive oil, I have been putting olive oil on my scalp since I became natural. So for almost 4 years I have been oiling my scalp and I haven't seen any adverse effects. I would put oil on my scalp and by day 3 its gone, my scalp is completely dry. I just have severe dry scalp and the only way for me to combat the dryness as well as the itchiness is by oiling my scalp, doing ACV rinses and washing my scalp frequently. And I feel as though my hair growth hasn't been hindered at all. I have had amazing growth. BUT that is not to say that this routine will work for everyone, I am only here for inspiration so try things with your own knowledge with it as well. What works for me may not work for others.

    • @user-tv9dy3vc1u
      @user-tv9dy3vc1u 7 років тому

    • @BubsBee

      if you hair is naturally frizzy then you may get some frizz. and you need to trim those ends too and also work on growing them out. moisturizing, deep conditioning, etc.

    • @BubsBee
      @BubsBee  7 років тому +1

      thank you, for me oil soothes my scalps itchiness because I have extreme dry scalp. But you may have to see if you are allergic to the oils you are putting on your scalp and to see if you are clogging your pores with too much oil depending on how frequently you oil your scalp. You may not even need to oil your scalp, I know ladies who don't oil their scalp unless they are doing a hot oil treatment and they are going to wash the oil right out of their scalp. It really depends.

      +Michelle Fonville well for a a week to 2 weeks it was fine. Then I washed my hair and it was itchy again after 3 days. I starting back to oil my scalp again right after I wash my hair. My scalp is just so dry and needs help to coat my scalp. I only use a simple oil mix for my scalp, avocado oil, jojoba oil and Jamaican black castor oil.. and I always use acv rinse to cleanse my scalp, it works amazingly

    My bf is half black and half white and I usually do his hair for him... But I haven't had a whole lot of practice with his type of hair. He doesn't ever use oil... But his hair in the front is always super frizzy because he used to pick the front more than anything. Idk y. Theres also a lot of heat damage in the front...But does anyone have any suggestions on how to get his hair to be not so frizzy? I'm about to put twists in his hair, and I'm trying to find the best way to do it for him and maintain it. His hair is literally right in between white and black. It never stays straight or curly. :-/
    I just want my boo to stop looking so dusty and start looking crispy lol... (So does he)
    He was adopted by white people, so he has no idea how to take care of his type of hair either.

      Kristina Paolillo did you find a solution?

      He NEEDS oil. That is the one thing white people do not use on their hair. Because he is biracial his hair would benefit from a light oil. Try a leave in conditioner with a curling cream to lock in moisture and oil the scalp. Look up the LOC/ LCO method in some UA-cam vids. The Tahlia Waheed line of products is phenomenal in my opinion. I worked with a young lady who was black but was adopted by a white family. She washed her hair every day and it was a hot mess. Hair washing every day for black people is a no no.

    If one uses leave in cream...do u use it after or before the oil

    • @BubsBee
      @BubsBee  7 років тому

      I use the leave in, then cream, then oil. It depends on what your hair likes. I do the LCO (liquid, Cream, oil) method but some people prefer the LOC method (Liquid, Oil, Cream)

    I love this, your videos, and your hair!😍 Im thinking of using these as a protective style, however, I go to the gym everyday. Would it be best to just take them down and wash weekly? Im afraid the sweat would probably accumulate and hinder growth if I leave them longer 🤔........But Id like to try to stretch it, if possible
