- This video shows a weather Balloon flight to the Stratosphere. I installed cameras in a box attached to the weather balloon to get high altitude images of the Earth.

He did a great job.
That blue atmosphere layer is beautiful
Dude Balloon can't go over atmosphere so its already in atmosphere.
That's actually bad quality...
Thts nitrogen
@UserReacts The blue layer is the more dense part of the atmosphere, but he is still in the atmosphere. A balloon can't leave the atmosphere, but it can go to the very thin parts of it. Such balloons can reach 100,000 feet altitude, that's more than 3 times Mount Everest. Up there, the atmosphere is very very thin, only 1% of air pressure compared to earth's surface. So there's only a tiny bit of air left above - not enough to scatter sunlight enough to make the sky blue. So that's why you see a blue layer of more dense atmosphere below and a black sky above.
You have heard of different air pressure at different altitudes, right? You do realize that 1% of the atmosphere above you gives less light scattering than the full atmosphere we see from the ground?
@UserReacts What do you mean they can't now? Nothing has changed in the altitude balloons can reach. Even amateur balloons (that you can buy yourself in the internet) can reach 100,000-120,000 feet. More is possible depending on gas filling and other conditions. 143,000 is neither the record nor impossible now, not sure what you're talking about.
It'd be nice to watch one of these with the natural sounds of the camera flying into space instead of the silly music.

Bruh you purposely made this video just to trigger flat earthers lol
its not his fault they exist. its their parents fault they exist. Abrahamists are the most gullible people on earth and will deny all information contradictory to their beliefs. Funny enough, nowhere in the bible does it state the shape of the earth, but they've maneuvered themselves into an ideological position which contests their faith (something which does not need to be proven) against science (information proven through repeated experiments). They simply can't understand that these two forms of understanding are incompatible, so they make it their duty to challenge it against all forms of evidence.
Lifesizemortal Yeah true, that makes more sense I guess. Their parents probably believe the same thing lmfao
Flatties don't care what you believe, they've spent so much time trying to expose the truth, only for it to get demonetized, deleted, channels suspended, and mocked. That you really can't blame them for giving up trying to help you.
If you trust your government, fine, enjoy. If you trust the food and water they provide you, fine, enjoy.
It's not worth the time of the Flat Earther to play the convincing game, why? Because ignorance is bliss. People don't like doing maths on their own, people don't like digging for truth, and they definitely don't like truth if it goes against what they've been taught.
But, oh well, enjoy your life.
Fock You it ain't a ball, and it's very very easy to understand. If the people want to be ignorant, they will die in their ignorance.
Fock You I believe on, The Son of The Most High, yes.
But spiritual things are not for the unrighteous. What does it profit me to grieve over those whom have made a choice to rebel? If, The Creator, himself says he shall not grieve over the unrighteous, how can I if I am not above him?
I do no speak spiritual things with the unrighteous, it benefits them not if they seek not the Truth.

@Autistic Savant Ah, a reply from someone who I assume is a Flat Earth weirdo, brilliant. Okay - explain to me exactly how this is "fake" - whats your evidence?
@Autistic Savant I hear exactly what you are saying...... I'm sorry, but there is no way this is fake. This video was made by an independent guy, with a weather balloon - with nothing to gain from putting a "false representation" on You-Tube. The earth is curved. A globe. A goddamn circle when viewed from space. There's no amount of bullshit that you flat earthers can peddle that will change that.
@Autistic Savant "using Fish Eye lenses to show viewers a false (fake) representation of the view" yikes.. dude fisheye is used on 99% of photography works, thats just dumb, you are trolling or ignorant if you think somebody use fisheye lense for making something up

Well done I love this type of experiments.
putting a go pro fitted with a fish eye lens to a balloon? yeah its decent but it distorts the horizon you would think the experiment planner would have sussed that one out but clearly they are too stupid.... what a waste
Oh no. I watched until 1:55, fisheye. Why would you destroy that whole experience with that lens? You spent the time and money. Why wouldn't you want to show people what it actually looks like up there? By the way, there is no curve anyway at the height around two mins in.

Cool, now could you show us what everything looks like without the fisheye, wide angle lense?
A lot of videos like that here...
You joking aren't you?
@André Reis All lenses have distortion. The wider the field of view, the more distortion. The narrower field of view would give you less to look at.
@André Reis What's being faked? The point of wide angle lenses is to try to get a larger field of view. That's it. You have an image coming in from all sort of angles being directed straight into a flat plane (the camera sensor). This creates distortion. The only way to have an undistorted image on a 35mm camera sensor is to take a photo of something the exact same 35mm size with a flat, perpendicularly aligned lens.
To get a feel for this effect, take a selfie with your phone just a few inches away from your face. Then another maybe a foot away. Then arms length, and then at a distance zooming into a mirror. The proportions of your face will change dramatically depending on the angle and distance at which they were perceived. This is why photography from the low orbit ISS looks so much different from photos of earth from geosynchronous satellites and apollo missions.
The Apollo 17 photo of the earth wasn't faked, and yet the flat earth community continually confuses it with the NASA composite image on iphones (incidentally that composite image was created from photos taken by satellites circumnavigating the glove north to south.)
The easiest way to correct for lens distortion is to have a flat object in the shot for relative reference.
