That is the difference between you guys and flat earthers: they get all defensive mode and existential crisis like in their brains when they here or see this stuff. There biggest "argument "is that Space and the Universe makes us insignificant and is a ploy to make us scared or depressed. I have to say, I think it's because I got into this stuff at a young age that I go like: OMG the Bootes Void is so spooky but wow imagine having literally not even a handful of molecules around you for dozens of light years!
it was not photographed from earth he just copied stuff from Space hubble and extensively edited accurately to get an colored image , btw hubble telescope is in the orbit
The limit of what we can see is not based on distance, it's based on apparent size. Telescopes can see objects millions of miles away so long as the object is large enough to have a apparent diameter larger than the limiting resolution of the telescope. Just like how we can see a skyscraper from 5 miles away, but not a pigeon on top of said skyscraper. The skyscaper, although it is miles away, is large enough to have an apparent size greater than that of our eye's minimum resolution, so we can see it. The pigeon on the other hand is not visible, because it's too small to have an apparent size large enough to be seen by our eyes from that distance. Hope this makes sense.
When you look out beyond our solar system into interstellar space, you can begin to truly realize the enormity of space. The distance between us and the closest star Proxima Centauri B, 4 light years, is nothing on the cosmic scale. It's inconceivable for humans to ever leave our solar system, but there are billions of worlds to discover out there. Thinking about all of this makes me have an existential crisis.

Totally agree and some experts believe that after the big bang every thing that was created eg stars, galaxies and milkyways are made from the same thing gas dust etc just like earth and or solar system man who knows how many earth like planets there are.
I’m very certain there’s life out there but the chances of intelligent life is ridiculously tiny. life on Earth dates back 3.5billion years ago. Humans have been on this planet for bout 200,000 years 3,500,000,000/200,000=17500 meaning that humans have been on this planet for 1/17500 of how long other organisms have. It’s not a problem for life being out there but more for the chances of intelligent life
because of how volatile and inhospitable the universe truly is. In a blink of the eye the galaxy can explode and become similar to a quasar and incinerate all life around the galaxy.
There has been reports from nasa over time that they have received wave signals from other parts of the Milky Way. I believe that there is intelligent life somewhere outside of our galaxy as well, and observing us like we do with them!

Lol ur definitely lying. GeekZone CZ he's using the "Stack Image" technique to get a perfect and high quality images. The first image he took was a bad quality, he stacked and made it this. CGI would be totally completely different.
@Milestones M Hubble's goal is not to take pretty pictures you know. Hubble's main goal is to further our understanding of the universe, which sometimes involves non-visual light and does not necessarily yield nice looking pictures. If the pictures turn out looking nice it's just a bonus. Also of you are judging it off of how detailed the pictures are, Hubble still wins. Take Sunflower galaxy for example. JWastronomy's photo (at 5:32) is *far* less detailed than Hubble's photo: www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image/hubble_friday_09102015.jpg (Please note this is not a diss on JWastronomy or anything. His pictures are amazing, and it isn't far to compare ground based amateur telescopes to $4 billion in-orbit scientific equipment.)
Thanks Timothy. Did you also know that these beautiful Hubble images are actually plain black and white? They get photo shopped by CGI artists with various light and color shades. dont know about the non-visual but I think this guys work here is genius! and of course my comment was meant as a compliment rather than putting Hubble down.
Yeah, hubble does what's called Narrowband imaging. (Some amateur astrophotographers do this too.) Basically Hubble takes a bunch of B&W photos of the same object through different filters. (These filters are designed to only let a very specific region of light through.) You see, different types nebulas (and galaxies) emit light on different spectrums depending on what they're made of. So by using multiple narrowband filters you can photograph only specific parts of the nebula. For example let's say Hubble is trying to image the Oxygen core of a nebula that is mostly made of Hydrogen. The problem is, the Hydrogen is blocking the view of the Oxygen core. To fix this, Hubble images through an Oxygen-III narrowband filter, which only lets light emitted by Oxygen nebulas get to the sensor, and thus blocks out the Hydrogen. This example is simplified, but I hope it gets the point across. Essentially, narrowband imaging is used to image only specific parts of objects. What they do in post-processing is combine those different B&W images together, and assign each filtered image to a different color. For example, let's say that they assign they color red to the Oxygen part of the nebulas, and the color green to the Hydrogen parts. The end result is that different types of nebulous gases have different colors, which REALLY helps to distinguish each gas from one another. Again, this is for scientific purposes, not for pretty pictures. This does mean that photographs from Hubble are in false color though, but it's worth it because the knowledge gained by narrowband imaging is massive. Hope this made sense. This is a complicated subject, so if you don't understand what I'm saying I'd recommend reading this article: www.itelescope.net/astro-science/2016/10/4/narrow-band-imaging-what-is-it-all-about.html

Comments saying "it's impossible for telescopes to see that far ". The whirlpool galaxy is approximately 85,999.91326 light years in diameter. That is absolutely gargantuan and so it may be extremely far away but due to its massive size it can be seen from Earth.
Exactly. The Whirlpool Galaxy is more or less perpindicular to our viewing plane. The ratio of the distance from Earth to the Whirlpool compared to the diameter of the Whirlpool is roughly 270/1. That's like seeing a person 2 meters tall at a distance of 340 meters with this telescope. Pretty feasible.
It's ridiculous the claims about how big these objects are. The numbers are all wrong and these stars aren't nearly as far. Case point, we can see the largest crater on the moon with the naked eye, we're taught this crater is 50miles diameter and the moon some 240k miles away. Now find something 50 miles wide on Google earth and zoom out it disappears was before 100 miles let alone 240k miles. These distances and sizes are made up. The stars are much much closer and smaller.
Dude. Initially it is B&W. After some hocus pocus on shading and filtering, then we get the colours. I hope i can buy a telescope like his. Viewing only among our star system is so....limited.

This is eye opening for me. I was always told you'd need an observatory grade telescope to view galaxies with such detail. I was under the impression anything store bought would produce nothing but colorless smudges in the sky. These photos show it may be worth investing in this equipment.
Yea. Haha. Took forever to balance, then adds the camera and cables afterwards? Shows the small view with the actual lens view, then shows us pics from other galaxies with pretty good detail. I call bs on this.
Coolbreeze LB normally you would balance with all the kit on, bit this would probably put the eyepiece in an awkward position to do the alignment. Being out of alignment would be more disastrous than balanced as it will produced smeared images with long exposures. To a certain extent, the scopes 2 axis clutches will hold it in place against a small amount of imbalance. Why do you call BS on this, those kind of quality images are well within the means of this setup, I have the same scope but an older EQ5 mount with modified stepper motors controllable by eqmod, ascom and Stellarium.works just fine.

I see some people in the comments are confusing _light years_ with *years* . _Light year_ is a measure for distance - the distance light travels in a year. *Year* is a measure for time. So when you're looking at galaxy that's, for example 23 million _light years_ away, you're seeing it as it was 23 million *years* ago not _light years_ . to everyone saying it's fake. guys, some of you are just idiots, and some simply don't know how all this works. well...a very easy answer. if you have a reflex camera and a tripod, bring them with you and go to an extremely dark place, like near the mountains, very far from cities. point your camera into the sky with iso 800/1600 and 24/27 seconds of exposure. if pointed right you can actually see how fucking big the milky way is. now, think about it. these photos of nebulas and galaxies are the result of stacking of several photos with an exposure of up to 30 minutes. nebulas and galaxies are huge, and all the work behind photos like these is huge. so, before saying it's fake, do your research....and try doing what i suggested
i'm not a professional astrophotographer and i mostly use only a dslr. usually, when you want to make a photo of a galaxy like the milky way, you just focus a bright star in live view. the focus is near infinite so every other object in the sky will appear sharp. to that you must consider that the better the mount, the sharper the photo will be.

The fact that this is real and was photographed from Earth gives me anxiety.

@Aπωφις Aπωφις IS THIS A MIRROR OF YOUR DICKHEAD WORDS?
can anyone explain ..how can this telescope see millions of light years far ?

It's amazing up there. It makes me feel like we're stuck on our planet, considering the vastness of a universe so big we'll never be able to travel.

I think it’s amazing that the spots we see on the wings of spiral galaxies consists of tens of millions of stars.
Why in the hell did they sent Hubble if they have you:)
Franky Lee Exactly. His painting is much more detailed than NASA's Artist Concept image.
JWastronomy's photo (at 5:32) is *far* less detailed than Hubble's photo: www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image/hubble_friday_09102015.jpg
(Please note this is not a diss on JWastronomy or anything.
This is a complicated subject, so if you don't understand what I'm saying I'd recommend reading this article:
www.itelescope.net/astro-science/2016/10/4/narrow-band-imaging-what-is-it-all-about.html

Aaaah that’s bigger than my student debt
Why Say approximately and write a very accurate number? And for this one you could say 86000 ly, it is very close to your approximation
Sorry, typo, 540 meters
It's ridiculous the claims about how big these objects are. The numbers are all wrong and these stars aren't nearly as far. DayZ Silent Dead you own a DayZ server?
Coolbreeze LB normally you would balance with all the kit on, bit this would probably put the eyepiece in an awkward position to do the alignment. Being out of alignment would be more disastrous than balanced as it will produced smeared images with long exposures. To a certain extent, the scopes 2 axis clutches will hold it in place against a small amount of imbalance. It won't be there. Trump has given NASA til 2024 to land on the moon. The pressure will stay on and yet nobody is going anywhere.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Allan Andrychuk wtf are you on about champ
@@nineinchallan thank us for reading all those
100 years later: The Milky Way through my telescope
I don't think it will be 100 years, probably 30 or 40 years.
That would be so cool, though. We don’t even have any true images of the milky way from above.
@@tykingcrystal864 if you went outside the milkyway it would look like galaxy NGC 7331
Idk but probably 1000 years
It's possible that we could look at Milky Way's past
Wish i could afford a telescope like that ...
John Flemström must be expensive
John Flemström you can get a really nice telescope for less than $500... You may not have an equatorial or go-to mount so you'll have to manually track but if all you want is a visual telescope, 6-8 inch dobsonian reflectors are the way to go
John Flemström It's Fake tf
мıѕυey 「ɴιɢнтcore」 It's not. You just need a good telescope
Same
That telescope look hella expensive
Greg Moonen here it would cost approximately R$3.000, so it's kinda expensive
Greg Moonen it's a good idea, but it will be hard to find a place that sell the parts separately
In amazon it's $770
Biscoito Molhαdo Robux?
I am planning to get a 10 inch Dobson same size as this one. Optics are always exspensive! 😭
This machine looks like it's going to launch a nuclear missile to the sky
C Am F G Your high.
I'm not trying to be a smartass, just clarifying some things :)
It's common knowledge, but reading comments here from flattards and space deniers, I doubt they have that knowledge;)
on 6:48 you can see three other galaxy's on the left
Every point is a galaxy.
Yes,but,m51,the galaxy that Julian is looking for,is colliding with other galaxy and it looks like a black hole "eating m51",it's just amazing
I would like to watch these galaxies while tripping on mushrooms
Good luck operating the telescope in that state. I'm lucky if I can use my cellphone. 😂
James Mackie i mean he could set it up in advance, and look at the universe on the come up!
@vapers are beyond stupid bith wats your problem
Medical research suggests mushrooms repair and create new pathways in the brain and can potentially reverse early onset dementia. How about actually researching the subject before commenting your uneducated opinion about something
Be careful though you can get hurt really bad if you trip on some mushroom and land on your face
*The telescope is a paid actor*
I can confirm this as I'm the mount.
*Nebulas is a paid actor*
Thank you so much!!! I'm visually impaired... so this is such a special and magnificent opportunity for me!! As a child I saw a nebula. I still have the picture in my mind. I'm 62 now. I will never forget it!!! It was stunning!!! My vision has deteriorated over the years due to kerotoconus. Thank you again!!
It's like 5 in the morning now, & I can see an arm of the Milky Way & Orion & it's amazing!
I thought you couldn't see the Milky Way with the naked eye even in dark places?
Pranav Prakash Even in light-polluted areas. You can see it very, very faintly. I checked to make sure by using a star tracker app on my phone, I wasn't just seeing things.
Best place to see it is in Canada, is it non polluted country and some of biggest telescopes are there :v
LegendAhri I've always wanted to go to Canada; I live in Indiana. I would love to live in Alaska.
Dr James Crabapple. Thanks Captain Ovbious.
Damn I was all looking for like a normal telescope video and then I see this gigantic telescope like yeah I don't think I'm be able to get that one lol
Flat Earthers be like: Nice projections in the sky!
my fav galaxy video. watched more than 20 times. thank you so much
SPACE IS SO FUC*ING BIG!
not big...

Dead Meme is that sexual harrassment?
MaxPlayAll lmfao yes extremely
Dead Meme
Lmao get sued
no , we are small !
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
to everyone saying it's fake. guys, some of you are just idiots, and some simply don't know how all this works. well...a very easy answer. if you have a reflex camera and a tripod, bring them with you and go to an extremely dark place, like near the mountains, very far from cities. point your camera into the sky with iso 800/1600 and 24/27 seconds of exposure. if pointed right you can actually see how fucking big the milky way is. now, think about it. these photos of nebulas and galaxies are the result of stacking of several photos with an exposure of up to 30 minutes. nebulas and galaxies are huge, and all the work behind photos like these is huge. so, before saying it's fake, do your research....and try doing what i suggested
Astral_ Anomaly stfu nerd
i'm just giving an explanation and responding to braindead fucktards like you.
How did he focus?
i'm not a professional astrophotographer and i mostly use only a dslr. usually, when you want to make a photo of a galaxy like the milky way, you just focus a bright star in live view. the focus is near infinite so every other object in the sky will appear sharp. to that you must consider that the better the mount, the sharper the photo will be.
Thanks.
Your hard work to setup Telescope and making this video too much appreciable. Well done. Love it. You caught a such a wonderful pictures. I feel like, I am in the space and searching for God...Thanks for your hard work and sharing with the world. There are millions people like me who could not do like you but still deeply interested to go through the space. Great great video...God bless you..
Have you ever imagined what would be there if there's no galaxy, no universe, no, nothing?
I do that a lot.
If there's nothing there then there's nothing there mate 😆
im crying while im watching this video, those galaxies are very beautiful
Me too. Thats so beautiful
iqbaal 30 Ahhh, why are you crying?
It isnt as colorful as irl. Thosr images were processed and edited
Spilled Milk u are so f’ing stupid. U have no idea what u are talking about. They may be light filtered, but that’s it. Trust me I’ve seen images just like these through a telescope with my own eyes. That telescope is worth more than your life. It is perfectly capable of producing high resolution images just like he showed. Nothing fake about it at all. Trust me im a lizard person from planet zenu. I’m a member of the Illuminati. I would know. PS don’t tell anyone, but the earth is flat. Fucking moron
ll fake baya ji, CGI
That background music is so soothing.

What kind of music did you use I love the music part when you show the images of the galaxy’s
The track's name is Transcend. The album's name is Empire - Instrumental Stock Music. You can find it on Spotify.

No sci-fi film comes close to the beauty of our own universe. We live in the ultimate sci-fi.
Imagine yourself so much bored, but not aware of the wonder of the sky above our head.
I can’t believe you can see al that detail through a telescope it almost seems fake but I know it’s not this is truly breathtaking
These are long exposure images taken over a period of hours, it consists of many images and darks then processed in a photo processing program, it has to be to capture as much detail as possible, looking through the eye piece just shows a gray smudge, i had the exact same setup apart from auto guide and i loved it
OMG, the ignorance shown by some of the comments. Pretty much goes like this.
"I don't understand how this is possible"
So now there are two paths.
1. Learn how this is being done (work involved), or
2. Claim it's all fake. (easy)
Too many lazy jerks that don't want to learn anything.
