    The fact that you can see details in the outer planets much more clearer than the inner planets explains how mindblowing big they are.

      Its because inner planets are much smaller. Thus, it is harder to see the details.

      Don't give up, you can still have the chance to make a change. Who knows, you might be the first person to step on Mars, maybe the first person to invent something that would increase humanity's technological advancements. And if you don't feel like you can make a change directly onto the universe, make changes onto yourself and other people. Make the people you love happy, inspire other people and maybe even the people you inspire are going to be at the podium mentioning your name when they get to change humanity.
      And even, even if you cannot do these things. Do not fret, just live your life happy, and without harm. After all, if doing nothing good is bad, then doing nothing bad must be good. You may not believe me, but life is one of the most beautiful things in the universe, we may be not sure who created us or why we are here, the only thing we do know is that we are curious, adventurous beings and we have to find out the answers to the questions we ask. These planets are placed in the exact right orbit to give us all the possibilities for life on earth. All is one, everything is circular. So in my opinion we are highly significant to the universe. We are universes on itself, our body's, minds and soul a masterpiece of creation. We were granted with self expression, creativity, tears, laughs, anger and compassion. Planets have their orbit, while we are able to choose our own little orbits. Whe inherited a free will, power to change things, to create things and to do or not do. Risky, as we can see these days, but it's the ultimate evolutionairy challenge to the universe. To create an emotional, self thinking being. We even have the choice to go against our biological chain and are able to decide in our own extinction. While the earth will remain cirkling his orbit. Than we would seem to be an evolutionairy failure, like the dinosaurs were told to be. If we would come in balance with earth in our minds, hearts and souls, we could learn to collaborate. So mankind could create their own little stars on this beautiful planet. But we are still in a big evolution process. Just like the universe developed stars, moons, planets, gravity and time, it created human love! To me, the most powerfull energy in the cosmos and the key to being a successful (and happy) species. So let's make more use of that.

It was also the first time I saw the Moon up close and it was so beautiful to look at up close and see all the craters and it's brightness. Funny enough I play a mostly si-fi games such as Destiny and Halo and all I thought while looking at Jupiter and Saturn was if I was about to see a Pyramid Ship fly by or see the Dreadnaught in Saturn's rings XD

    As an astronomy expert, I can confirm that the dots surrounding Jupiter are its 4 big moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Ganymede is the most interesting because it has a thin oxygen atmosphere. It is also the largest moon in the solar system: larger than Mercury!

    • @felipemartin1588
      @felipemartin1588 14 днів тому

      Also Europa, it is believed that it has a vast mass of water under its frozen crust, a volume 2 times bigger than all of Earth oceans combined! According to information gathered by NASA's Galileo probe. It means Europa can harbor life, which would make it the most interesting moon by far... In fact, NASA is planning another mission to this moon "Europa Clipper" to further investigate the composition and structure of this satellite

I honestly don't think many people comprehend how much bigger the planets actually are in comparison to each other. In fact 1299 earths can fit in Jupiter.

What that purpose or reason is, is up to the individual to discover. Next time you look at the stars, gaze upon them not only with ur eyes but with full awareness(even meditate on the fact of existance) and you will feel the same and possibly feel the enlighting nirvana like sensation and no longer be afraid of what the cosmos is or might do, but will embrace the fact of being able to observe the universe, observe its own creation.

Earth is one of not-so-many in a single galaxy containing intelligent life, if something from light years away becomes able to travel in those speeds, then we can only hope they're friendly, and we can only hope they have human-like minds with morals and a sense of justice; it's probably better that we not encounter smart aliens right now because we would be obliterated

    Saturn is the one that blows my mind. Jupiter is a giant, but Saturn and its rings are incredible. I have seen all the popular comments, I mostly heard about how amazed people were when they saw planets through a telescope (or other viewing items) for the first time, I haven't seen a planet through a telescope (myself) but I can imagine how all the people felt. Space is terrifying but beautiful at the same time. Though some objects in space and their sounds give me goosebumps, take Ganymede for example (one of Jupiter's moons) it's like it has spiderwebs on it and all the craters are weird and the sound of it (Ganymedes sound) is just creepy.

      Also, with his telescope and Pluto’s immensely small size, it is impossible to see it (you saw how hard it was to see Neptune). Scientists just use orbital telescopes to see it.

    Jupiter scares me so much. Ever since I was a child, I had a nightmare of Jupiter popping like a balloon, and all that gas escaping out into space, cascading down onto earth. Or Jupiter moving towards us, and the eye opening up and swallowing us whole. Sometimes I think there’s something inside, some terrible lovecraftian beast. Looking at the live footage of Jupiter here makes it feel so much more real. And so much larger. I don’t know why, but I really think there’s something wrong with that thing.
