One of the things I liked most about this video is that it doesn't use a ridiculously fish-eyed lens as so many do and it doesn't wobble about and spin the whole time! You can actually look at things. 👍
Still seems to use some sort of weird lens because I can see the earth bending when the camera moves down

It looks like Venus and Jupiter were in the picture. The soundtrack being up there is incredible, because that couldn't be heard with the naked ear because a human would need to be in a space suit.
Don't forget it's colder than -100°F up there.
Finally a flight into space that is easy to follow, not too fast, uncut so it is like being there, no curved lenses to make the Earth look curved, automatic F stop so it is how dark space really is, not dimmed to look black. Just the raw true undoctored image! Thank you for having this online

@black.sabbath if you have any understanding of videography and how lens work then you’d realize the curve would be there when the hoizon is exactly in the middle, otherwise we also live on a Halo ring if you count the curve, cuz that’s what happens when it goes below the middle of the screen. when the horizon goes above the middle it has a “nasa curve” duh doyy. @@awatt Not as extreme compared to what the phony NASA photos show when they use a fish eye lens. The slight curve you see is distance. Hold a flat plate up to your eye level and you'll see the same depth shown in this video.

It is #fisheyelens to notice it I swipe ALL the way to the balloon popping by #yahweh and then the horizon flaps like bird wings....horizon dosen't bend with normal sight or lens.

Yes wide angle lens. But don't worry. Those wont distort the horizon when the horizon is at the center of screen. the line (straight or curved) is then real.

You could hear when it went through the jet stream. Then the sky started looking more black, and it gets quite.

Excellent video thanks! It doesn't prove conclusively either way--round or flat but earth sure is beautiful! I love the way the sun sparkles and pulses, not like the ISS footage where it remains completely motionless like copy/paste; go watch it. This here is the real thing, also from high up the ground is not clear but misty and whitish, again not like views from ISS.

The reason you see a curve on the planet is because the planet is sphere like every object in space that is greater than 600 miles in diameter. You can see the curvature of the earth with your own eyes every time you fly in an airplane.
Between 1:00:00 and 1:15:00 is the most entertaining. You can hear and see the airliners flying by, see sun dogs (2 little rainbows on the sides of the sun) and you go through the cloud layer.

Being that high up as airplanes is scary and fun at the same time. It would also be epic to listen to Gangsta’s Paradise song while seeing lots of the amazing views of the sky, stratosphere, and city lights from the ground. Airplanes see so many amazing views up in the air. The choirs of Gangsta’s Paradise is really epic while seeing amazing views while being so high up. It’s also the best song for airplanes taking off and landing when going plane spotting and flying on airplanes. It’s really epic to listen to that song while seeing night views in the evening and nighttime, that are views of beautiful cities, moon and stars in the sky, and more lovely views of the stratosphere of the Earth’s layers. It also sounds very nice when that song is being played with noises of flying jets. Jets sound so epic. And bigger jet airliners are the best aircrafts.
This really shows how massive the planet is he’s in the stratosphere and we can’t see a ocean so just imagine

That's not Space... it's high altitude... Space doesn't exist... Gasses can't exist adjacent to a vacuum of Space... the gasses would fill the available space and we don't have enough gas to fill an infinite amount of "Space" so we would have no gasses on Earth if we existed next to space without a barrier

It seems to be the type of lens being used... As the view pans across the sky you can tell it's an illusion from the lens, making it appear more bowl like instead of flat....
Oh.. and I have seen the curvature with my own eyes... More than once.. from plane windows.

The horizon is at eye level from beginning to end.

ANDMA the center is pretty much dead center. If we’re on a ball at ≈ 25k miles in circumference, at this height the horizon is center but people say they can see the curve from the beach, lol
@@arisleonel i agree with you. Its always in the center. You never once ever have to look downward at a curving horizon.
If you measure the screen you will see that the horizon drops more and more the higher the camera gets.. a small difference, so its hard to tell by just eyeballing it

I'm a bit biased since I have measured the drop of the horizon in the real world, first from a beach, and then from a mountain.

I think you should do this again and have a small parachute inside the balloon like just big enough to bring the camera down reasonably safe be cool to watch.

It's not space, it's barely the upper atmosphere, the balloon appears to be very high but honestly it's just a few thousand feet higher than commercial airliners

@@heinzguderian628 you do often times see the moon and sun in the same sky. Not sure what drug your on but out it down. This video is a fish eye lens. Not true curvature.

@@CarnivoreStork Because the difference between the gas pressure inside the balloon and the atmospheric pressure outside of it caused the balloon to expand beyond its limits and pop. Even a flat earther should be able to understand that one.
herbielina Because helium is heavier than the vacuum of space. Space is nothing. No oxygen, or gravity. Helium sinks below the vaccuum. If you put a penny, and a feather, in a vaccine chamber, they fall at the same speed. I hate how modern medicine has kept you morons from dying off.

So many awesome aspects to this video....
The fact that when the balloon busts, the bits of the balloon and the camera fall at the same rate. Sometimes even the bits of balloon are falling faster! That wouldn't happen on the ground thanks to air resistance.
Then there is the fact the camera falls silently for ages and e sound of wind gets stronger and stronger. In fact that's really weird cause it sounds as though someone is breathing into the mic.
There's the sky changing from light blue to dark blue and stars become visible!

Check out what Auguste Picard said the earth looked like when 15 km up in a balloon in 1927......- " It looked like a plate, with upturned edges"!!?
