Keep up the Amazing work Karl... you make the best travel series out there (by far). Thanks for keeping me entertained between my own travels!! hope the next series is out soon!!
Bravo Karl. Another great video series - about time the BBC contacted you about a travel show! The 'Where's James' scribe made me laugh... Thank you for producing yet another wonderful travel series. Looking forward to your future trips. PS - I also like the fact you didn't overdo it with the drone footage. Great editing job and nicely paced. Top quality.
I have just watched the three videos back to back. Absolutely amazing and so moving watching the sun rise over Lake Atitlan after the hike. A brilliant experience to watch safe onward happy travels.
Karl I love the fact you get both the cities and the nature of the places you go to! its a very good balance! and the editing is on par with that of other travel shows! Well Done mate! cant wait for your next adventure!
Best Travel documentaries on UA-cam for sure . I use to come back to your Videos like once a year . Always makes me feel so nostalgic and ready to Go Travel Again . You Really Show how backpacking truly is and should be !
I don't know if its just me, but I couldn't stop laughing during the horse part. I watched all three episodes; they were great. I appreciate you listing the hostels you stayed at and the different activites so people watching can take note of them. Thanks for sharing.
The editing always blows me away, its so simple but feels natural and well paced, and props for not showing drone shots 24/7 like so many other youtubers. Can't wait for the next one, Cheers!
This series was just as good as I'd thought it'd be. All of your films are top notch! I'm really excited for your Egypt & Jordan series. For some reason those spots aren't that popular among good travel vloggers nowadays. You're one of the best so it just seems fitting that you make your next series there to showcase the beautiful scenery with your amazing videography and editing skills.
Done watching your 3rd video for your entire mexico, belize and guatemala travel vlog. Its so cool and very nice story telling. Entertaining. Good job👌🏻
this is one of the best series of Guatemala I have ever seen.... Thanks so much Karl Watson por showing the beauty of Guate to the World... you` r allways very Welcome to my country bro..new subscriber from L.A...!!!
Hey Karl, as usual, a most enjoyable, visually stunning, and heart-warming video. There is nothing quite like the relationships one develops along one's journey, be it the locals, or fellow travellers. Well done my friend, and I shall look forward to your next journey. Wishing you the very best.
What can i say Karl.....all is realy amazing! It's like the viewer is there with you! It's so realistic. I like all of the acivity which you've done! Keep going and wait to hear from you from Egypt an Jordan! Take care,Karl :)
Considering you was solo travelling these whole 3 videos are fantastic! You deserve many more subscribers that's for sure. Had to be the volcano part for me and you are very good at showing us the journey you go on with the people you meet too Loved it!
@@karlwatsondocs We have a territorial dispute with Belize and until this is defined the territory of neither is, was the product of English theft but we are still brothers.
Man i love your vids! heading to Central and South America in January , i'm so hyped ... Travaled South-East Asia two years ago but i feel like this is gonna be even more special
@@karlwatsondocsThank you, i will! For hiking do you recommend high hiking boots or low hiking shoes? Still very undecided on which hiking clothes/shoes to bring 🫠
Once again i can only reiterate my enjoyment of this style of vblog. Its as if we really are sharing with you the good and the interesting, Its not full of marvellous scenic photos but the pure enjoyment you have experienced. I might have been interested in problems like currency and health but overall thank you for your postings and letting us share in your adventures. One thing I might like to have done....just to have the health and ability to be there! Not sure i like horses as I have some bad experiences of them lol. but would have loved to climb up the volcano.
The ending was cool that you all got together at the final party👍🏻 Awesome Trilogy and that sunrise hike, just wow, no VO was needed, the music only enjoying the moment and views was perfect
Hey, just circled round to your videos again after catching the hk to NY videos a while back. Just catching up with the latest stuff, so glad to see things are taking off. I love your honest style and no bs approach. I'm also from Durham btw, so it's nice to see you representing it out here. Hope the channel goes from strength to strength
Another unbelievable little series with a brilliantly edited and put together. Gives such a real portreal of the place...can't wait for the next one. Enjiy egypt, I'm sure we will :)
I have never said how good you are. You are easily one of the best on youtube. I'd put you with the vargabrothers at being the best. I am looking forward to the Yucatan come September. Not sure about climbing the volcano? I think I will probably step in the lava.
I'm actually really sad that I missed out on bumping into you!!! I LOVED Cucuruchos :) The staff was amazing and I met some really amazing people there! Also, if you ever end up going back to Antigua, I HIGHLY recommend doing Acatenango. It was AMAZING!
I know you probably don't like the question, but are there plans for more trips with James in the future? I've enjoyed this south american trip, but I think you get better opportunities to find brilliant moments when you are two because you can step back in the "director mode" more frequently and observe and be playful. Fantastic job doing this alone! I've been watching your series from the first episode and my favourite moment all time is when you went boating in china down a river and the guide started singing and there was this tall dutch guy on one of the boats. hillarious, real and absurd. There was a real sense of community on that trip, where you would meet other backpackers who gave you tips and some you would meet again. I would love to see you meet up with familiar faces, those are the best because it's really about the people you meet also, not just the places
Cheers! Next trip with James, just depends on timing, when he’s working, when I’m working etc. So hopefully it won’t be too long before he comes on another trip 👍
another awesome series man! i loved the hike to the volcano and the roasting of the marshmellows over the lava. i did the same thing on Hawaii. it's epic!
