- 2 weeks travelling around Colombia, trying to experience as many of the highlights as possible.
I start with a foodie tour in Bogota; then we head to San Gil to go white water rafting and paragliding; then we travel to Guatape to climb the rock and explore the colourful town; and then this leg finishes in Medellin where we see the transformation of the neighbourhoods Moravia and Communa 13.

We recently retired and are traveling between Mexico and Argentina for the next 4-5 years, searching for our favorite cool weather retirement city. We are currently in the mountains of Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Colombia is on our list of future countries and we think we may like Manizales. Cool weather is a must, fairly safe, good hospital, friendly people, low to mid cost of living....seems to check all our boxes !
I live in Manizales. It's a very safe, cheap and relaxing little city, the weather is cool and if you want a warm weekend you can go to Pereira or Cartago 1h away from Manizales. Also Salento, Filandia, the Coffee Park and the Ruiz Volcano are very near, perfect places for cultural and nature tourism. 👌🏻

Colombia was off my radar before this but it's definitely on the bucket list now! I found the Medellin section really moving - you could see how proud the locals were of their communities and it is so wonderful to see those neighbourhoods get the investment they needed to flourish. Loved all the vibrant street art, and Karl's monstrous green beverage, whatever that was!
Adventure plus! Love the local guides , such a great element to getting to know the country.
I just got back from Bogota & Cartagena this past week, it truly is a magical country. I see why James spent such a long time there, I’d move there in a heart beat.

Colombia is amazing. It is even better when you know a Colombian to take you around and not get stuck in the tourist traps. My girlfriend brought me around in Bogota and Giradot. it was life changing. Next we go to San Andres for New Years.

I just came back from Columbia two weeks ago and it was the most beautiful place ever I was in Medine and the people were all super sweet and nice. It wasn’t anything like what social media portrays it to be.

LUKE!!! Omg It was awesome to see him again!! I loved your whole group. The paragliding part was cool when everyone 1 by 1 went. Luke smashing into the pad on the zip line, hilarious! Toe-FU...lmao One of my fav DJ group performed on top of that rock in Guatape January last year, Above & Beyond. That nightlife in Medellin kind of reminds me of Khao San Road in Thailand, but then day time it total different vibe. Looks awesome. Great first video, I can't wait for the next one.

You guys have to come back for north coast carnaval its an annual cultural party of Colombia where good vibes and friend join together to enjoy Colombian traditions I highly recommend to go there at Barranquilla Shakira's land for 1 week on February for Carnaval very safe and fun. Only one warnings is the sun is wild! Lol take a lot of sunblock there.
