I'll give it a crack, I have found some old mines, shafts into a hill not far from where I go panning and crevicing. Nothing at all in Trove, Nada on geovic, nothing on trilobite about all these shafts. Very difficult terrain to get in, no detector holes, nothing. Dry creeks in summer. Thank you for your information but I would like to point out that the Mindat site might not be as correct as it should be. I looked up an old mine in the Northern Goldfields and the location they state is showing a different old mine about 5kms from where it should be. Two different mines and I know that Tengraph will confirm that also. Cheers.

It's pretty handy. Also great if you wanna go relic hunting. Especially if chasing lost towns or railway sidings!
