- In yesterdays video we were challenged to FAST for 1 DAY by our Malaysian friends.
Ultimately, to understand a little bit more about Ramadan and what this means to Muslims not only in Malaysia but around the world.
We broke our fast just nearby to Putrajaya's Ramadan bazaar with great company and ended our day feeling very inspired and grateful.

Malaysian Muslims already trained since childhood, so fasting isn't really challenging, at least for me personally. The real challenge is not to speak bad words, no gossiping, not into sexual stuff, not to get angry, not being whiny, must always be patient, must control desire and emotion on everything...by means the spiritual aspect of fasting...it is harder than not eating and drinking the whole day, anyone can go through all day without food and drink, but not everyone can self-constraint...

Congrats guys for your fasting.. I’m Chinese and this year is my first year of experiencing fasting and it’s feel good where as you’re mentioned from the fasting we might feel so appreciate to have tons of water and foods daily.. and of course we should also always control our temper, inner peace and so on.. Anyway enjoy the last fasting before Raya and Selamat Hari Raya to all the muslim.. Lot’s of Love❤️❤️

Husinhusni Mat Noor Starting was not used to it due to I was just recover from my gastric pain and worried it will be more worst.. but after few days I was used to it and of course enjoyed.. enjoy every moment of fasting and same goes to buka puasa.

actually it is already good that you could understand the whole meaning and messages behind the fasting in Ramadhan :) It is hard to explain to people who usually experience it for the first time but you guys seems to grasp the whole thing in just a short time :)

My eyes had tears. I had goosebumps at 22:33 when u guys hands 5 victory accomplishing the fasting. Can see ur face how u guys glad and proud of what u r achieved. I can see deep inside ur heart u felt so good and i felt in-touch for that moment. Its absolutely amazing feeling. one of the lessons and values of ramadhan is to curb your greed. most often when we go to the bazaar we'll buy more than we could eat and in the end all the leftovers will go to waste. that's the reason those guys bought only what they can finish. anyway good job!

Wow..the place I worked just opposites this bazaar ramadhan..around 5 pm me and my friends will take a walk to buy foods and drinks for iftar.. I'm living abroad almost a year now..looking at ur video reminded me of the good all days that we had in Putrajaya. 😭 Putrajaya is like one big forest buildings..tall and big buildings here and there..but we're very proud to have that in our country..Tq for the idea from our Prime Minister..Tun Mahathir..♥️

We live in Saudi Arabia and tried for just 24 hours - it was eye-opening, and we're so glad we gave it a try! It's such a good experience to connect us with our neighbors!
I fast twice in a year. First, is a month before Easter. But from a Christian point of view, you'll have several preference for fasting. Liquid fasting (only water / beverage), fruit fasting or full fasting. And secondly, during Ramadhan. Out of respect for my Muslim colleagues and friends. Remember not to over eat when you break your fast. And I'm glad that you've tried it for a whole day. Kudos!

Congratulations you girls who accept the challenge to fast...for Muslims full of iman will challenge it from the evil who will disturb your fast until you win them during the break fast...it also teach Muslims to feels the pain of poor people without food and water...we do hope you come back during the Ramadhan and try to fast 3 to 5 days

congratulation gurls... applaud for your effort and spirit of not giving up... its not easy to fast for the 1st timer especially in hot weather...but you did it....Yay! now hari raya is comingg! as muslim, during hari raya aidilfitri, we will be wearing beautiful new outfit, and go to the mosque early in the morning to pray and chanting our called of prayer specially for hari raya only, we also prepared lots of nice food, and visiting others people, asking forgiveness from each other to celebrate our succesfull of enduring 1 month of fasting and for keeping ourself in control during ramadhan, by hoping that we could continue the spirit of ramadhan for the rest of the year as well.😊

Congratulations on your first successful fast! It really is inspiring to see the two of you experience and understand the meaning of Ramadhan in Malaysia. For Muslims, it is more than just restraining yourself from food and drinks, but also from all kinds of acts or emotions that would be considered sinful, as doing so would mean you just wasted one day with hunger/thirst without real rewards. Of course, fasting also means we try to understand what those living in poverty feels. And since us humans easily forget what we learned over time, we go through these lessons again and again every year. Hopefully all of us become better people in the future, and I hope the two of you will join in Ramadhan fast again next year! Eid Mubarak~

on first time fasting is very challenging also to us sometimes because the 1st week, our body feels quite exhausting because our sugar level is trying to regulates so it's like we pushed the reset button. So it takes time actually probably after 2nd week.
