The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly burger patty is made from various spices other than simply salt and pepper. Various combination of vegetables and egg makes the burger taste unique. Unfortunately cheese are not included as compulsary part of menu but it placed as optional as Malaysia is not a cheese producing country. The nearest source of cheese imports comes from Australia and New Zealand. Ramly does not own any franchise restaurants simillar with Mc Donalds. Individuals setup chain of stalls all over the country. In every part of towns and cities there is a stockist who stocks most of the essentials for the stall owner to buy .

The burger looks great. I have a suggestion for a future meal. I saw a video on Bar B Q Plaza in Malaysia, I don't know what town. The youtubers are named DancingBacons. The barbecue place looks fantastic. It's a chain, they bring lots of different meats to your table and you cook it yourself.
I'll see FLL, there is so much still to see and do and eat here... :o). Thanks
5:47 "What is going on with this floor?" I guess the raised tactile floors are to guide the visually impaired. Some are circle raised dots but these you mentioned are directional to prevent accidentally walking into road.
Hello Steve. Great video. That guy did a very good job on that burger👍..Here is the address of a ramly burger restaurant. Address: Jln Seri Rejang 5, Setapak Jaya, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. A real restaurant. Where you can eat in and with alot more others ramly’s food.. ✌🏼10am to 6.30pm. Ya
Thanks for the info!

Nice to welcome you to Malaysia! and these burgers are really good!
Really glad you like it. As many has mentioned, there are a lot of variations to RAMLY burger. For me, the best would be that I have eaten while I was studying in the University. The guy made the burger and use Sambal instead of sauce/mayonnaise. Don't know where he is selling now.
most Ramly Burger Stalls opens after 5pm. Good ones are slightly at the outskirts of city center. Kg Baru has plenty... rule of thumbs - find them around 7 Eleven
Thanks..
THANKSSS SIRRR STEVEEE FOR COMING TO MY COUNTRY🇲🇾❤️👍🏻🇲🇾❤️HOPE U STAYSAFE TAKECAREE ENJOYY
RAMLY BURGER..ITS GREAT BURGER👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏GIVE 5 STARS !!!!!! RAMLY BURGER 👍👍👍👍.. . NUMBER..1 BURGER IN MSIA..!
ramly is a man from my village.. kampung parit Tanjong Piandang, daerah Kerian, Perak
i like to mix beef & chicken patty enveloped with egg & cheese inside.. burger kahwin cheese special.. most of the time i will ask only little chilli sauce because i'm don't want it become too wet. i eat the bread first & the patty at last.. 🤣
That's probably good advice..
Thanks sir...we got many delicious food in malaysia...try it sir
6:53 This Ramly burger guy is a Bengladeshi. Almost all manual jobs in Kuala Lumpur nowadays seem to be taken over by migrant workers, especially from Bengladesh, Indonesia and India.
Ronnie works there with the Other Malay guys, he's lived in KL for over 17 Years, his boss picked a good staff..
@@Steve-Owens Thanks Steve. I accept what you say. My earlier post was a meant to be a statement of fact on work environment in Kuala Lumpur - nothing sinister.
not relate with food content bro.
It really does not matter where the guy is from … he has the skills to make the “Malaysian style Ramly burger” . It is a global world .
I'd suggest you a breakfast, nasi lemak tangling. Try their nasilemak beef+sotong. They are only open for breakfast. Near the national mosque.
Out of all the ramly burgers i tried i think the best one is brader john
He has a special sauce which makes it taste more tastier and i think you should go check it out
But you will have to wait for 1 hour because the queue is very long or i suggest you to come early also its very close to village park
Welcome to Malaysia, you’ve found a very good and delicious Ramly Burger there Steve. I’m from east Malaysia which is Sarawak. You should come to Sarawak, there’s many more food you can explore and try 😊
I will try to come there but I am not sure we have the time during this trip.. ☹️
@@Steve-Owens its ok, theres always other time Steve ☺️. Do check out on my channel, i’ve covered some local sarawak dishes and food ☺️🙏🏻
My uncle is from Sarawak and i really love Laksa Sarawak😋
@@yn8600 that’s great. I love Laksa Sarawak, my favourite for breakfast. Where are you based now?
@@DDFamilyChannel I'm from Selangor and my uncle also lives in Selangor. Whenever he comes back to Sarawak, I always order laksa Sarawak paste and Kek lapis. But still can't beat the taste of his own cooking. And i haven’t taste it for awhile due to the pandemic.
Hi try itik salai masak lemak cili api negeri sembilan👍👍👍
They don’t usually sell Ramly burger during the day. It’s an evening/late evening snack thing.
Another place for good burger is from MyBurger Lab . There is one Ramly burger stall opp Pasar Seni/Central market LRT station that open in the afternoon.
Hi Rolsli, I think I found that one too..
8:42 you can get those frozen Ramly Burger Patty at a supermarket anywhere in Malaysia
Malaysia is a food paradise..
Thanks for review our food...❤️
you coming kedah, and you try ramly burger in so tasty .....
Thanks 👍
All of my foreign friends love it so much. I'm really happy you love it as well. Also the messiness is the sign of goodness of the Ramly burger, if the burger is not dripping it's not a good Ramly stall.
P.s A behalf of Malaysia, I'm apologizes for those street rat running around the city and make your trip feel unpleasant
Wow......it looks yummy
My mouth is full of saliva just by looking at you biting it
You must try benjo double…that really amazing taste…that my favourite…
I visit Changkat rad a lot and was there last night next time I will visit burger boss
Im craving for ramly burger now. 🍔
#347 hello mr #SteveOwens...good to have u here in Malaysia thank u so much for trying our very own Ramly Burger that has different kinda kick in that patty..some of us like it neat but mostly like it messy with all the sauce, cheese, mayo n etc..have a wonderful food hunting yeah.
I'm a powerful lady. Thank you
@@bonhamcarter4488 yes u are..👍
Ramly burger has a unique flavour and is certainly very tasty. I don't think there's any burger putty outside of Malaysia that tastes like Ramlys. My former expat colleague's favourite Malaysian street food is none other than Ramly burger; wrapped in fried egg.
You are right!
Yea you found a good stall, good for you! Honestly so far I've always had good Ramly burgers all my life, but one time while I was studying in Penang, the closest Ramly stall to my dormitory overcooked my patty so it was so dry and burnt at the edges. I had to walk around the block for a good one. I didn't realize a bad Ramly burger could exist hahaa
Thanks Ed
I'm from penang, yeah, some people are not a good cooker.. but once you got a good one, you will remember it always.. 🥰
That is awesome!!!!
Indeed..
Yup..burger boss served decent ramly..been there.. there's more stalls sell ramly..the ranked 1 in kl.. different rendition of ramly..
Thanks.. I like his Pepper Sauce
There used to be Brader John burger stall..very famous, long long queues. Can check it out if its still in business or not. Or you can try other non ramly burger at Burger Lab.
I'm not sure I will have the chance to get to Burger Lab this time.. Thanks
Ooooh! That looks yummy. I’ll have to make burgers today simply because that looks so burgerlicious . I’ll look to those Ramly accents to make mine. Now to find out what is in the original Ramly patty. (Not that mine will be any thing like t(at, but I can dream ;))
It's the Egg and the Sauce that make this unusual M.. I think you can do it :o). 👍👍👍
Welcome to Malaysia. Enjoy everything about Malaysia. Have a nice day ahead in Malaysia

Good review
Actually, burger stalls using margerine over butter for frying the patty.
We banned Margarine in my Youth, so I am not used to using that word..
omaigad looks so delishhh.. 😋
😋
Hello Steve! Do you know that Ramly Burger has their own restaurant-like in KL! The location is at Ramly Bistro Masjid Saidatina Hamzah, Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur. Not only they serve burgers, they also have menu of Rice dishes, lamb chops, roasted chicken and even desserts! U should give it a try soon 😊
