Like your movements speak for themselves, they are very smooth, but my brain isn't quite putting together what you mean by overlapping keyframes and why that's bad? Maybe if you had an example of the two side by side it would make it clearer because the two example both seem fine to me?

I made the short subtitles and texts manually without the automation feature. and add some effects with some overlays. and all the other subtitles are generated with veed.io.

I would love to see a video of how to edit and re-create the text you used on 3:50 - 3:51, the bouncy cartoonish like letters and also the movement is real nice, are you using AE Camera and setting it as 3D in there to achieve that look?
I edit that in Premiere with some Premade animations from Premiere Composer plugin and combine it with zooms, shakes, overlays etc. it's something simple if you know how to use the effects and overlays creatively.
