This is a new episode of the series where we are showing you the most interesting vehicles of each nation. Today we’ll be talking about Germany!
The Luftwaffe considered their aircraft... a kind of a “flying artillery”, one of the integral parts of the Blitzkrieg and a handy tool for ground support. That’s why they prioritized giving their aircraft a considerable bomb load over designing lots of different fighter types.

@@Leon_der_Luftige The joke is that when they introduced the US, British, and Japanese aircraft trees they touched 3 or 4 aircraft and moved on the the next Tier (also the videos were about 10 mins long). Then they go 3-4 mins on 1 Tier with 15 mins of context.

The M and K are well average bombers. But I agree that the J and N variant are... not exactly best pick ;)
@@volfcz J and N are awful. The problem with the rest is more the opponents they're going to face. I usually take a 34mm US or Russian Bullet to the face when playing 4.7< bombers.

most of early war figthers where racing aircraft, the thing is, that this model conserved its racing cooloing system that its really weak against bullets but make it hella more aero.

The Ju 87 D-5 with the extra 20mm cannons sure is good to end enemies who think you are an easy target.

Hell the 190 and 109 have close to a dozen.

Because it's a great fighter. I hate repair costs but for the Ta 152H1, I do not care. Even if it went up, when played fight, a Ta 152 will never die
Make a 4 men 152H squad and you'll see why that's there
Now I think altering repair cost for balancing the game is stupid but that's how they use repair costs

The fw 200 has a decent payload but is a dream for bomber hunters, it's defensive is mediocre at best and the plane is so fragile that no joke a gladiator shot one down with one bullet

FW-190 is my favourite plane in the game, the A5/U12 without gunpods to be exact (Currently U2 instead of U12).
Two Mg 151/20s are more than enough and without the additional weight it has really nice speed and manouverability.
I've struggled a lot with the A5/U12. I've got loads of kills in the A1, A4, and A5 variant in Arcade but haven't yet mastered the A5/U12. Any tips?
@@joeybarnard Don't use gunpods and obviously use stealth ammo.
The rest is the same as most other FW-190s but lighter than most.
I play only AB if it comes to planes.
Also learning defensive maneuvers is pretty useful with 190s.
D-13 is the best

The B-2 is a descendant of the B-35, itself a clear descendant of Northrop’s other designs. The connection to the Ho-229 is dubious at best.

You must have been hit with a 37 or bigger cannon.....I have shot down countless BVs and none of them were easy kills. Some took more beating than others but they still took a beating. Keep in mind my Hunter of choice is the P47s.

you can play it on consoles too but remember that this game is free to play so if you want to reach high tiers you either need to spend a lot of times grinding or paying for easier grinding.
Nah, it's good but then you get burned off by playing the game and it's stupid way of balancing stuff, just Play Axis and you will love the game, but you need to play Allies so you can get skill and learn how to win with most odds against you

My favourite German aircraft wasn't named but you showed it at the end, the Ho 229 V3, the only flying wing fighter ever built(every other one was a bomber) and super manoeuvrable. Certainly the most interesting plane of the entire tech tree.

Me: I was in a dusty room at the time of watching this show ( its amazing War Thunder props to you.) and when I saw a small plane on my screen I thought it was a piece of dust and paused the vid. I blowed on it and thought there was something under y screen. Then I quickly realized that, obviously, it was a plane.

Currently my go-to german warbird is the squadron vehicle me-262 A1a/u1, i realy like it's different types of guns that allow you to relyably hit the enemy with at least one gun at any range... But you have to master boom and zoom for it

The 88A-4 is a monster. It carries so much load at such a low rank, and it's divebombing capability makes it basically a heavy fighter with less guns and with more bombs.
This is how a climbing the ranks video should look like, not just talking about fighters only, but talking olso about bombers and strike aircraft.

I love using the Stuka with the 37mm. I found that a stabilized approach to the target using speed brakes and a steep AOA works best. I pull the trigger at 800 away . Don’t forget get to retract the speed brakes on the egress.
I have a question. Why is the "Sturmvogel" only a event vehicle? It was built in pretty high numbers and we have other jets in game that have a pretty good loadout for groundattacking as well so why is it only a event vehicle?
I would love to play my Ta-152s, but too bad the repair cost is 40k.

Hey uh...you should remove crew lock so when your game breaks and sends me flying into an ocean after trying to take off from a carrier I don't have to wait 7 minutes to play again or when a destroyed aircraft slams into mine I can still play it..Oh and maybe you should release a quality of life update and not keep pumping out modern vehicles that only break the game more

You can't. The cockpits that open to the side are usually not modeled. You can see it opened in replays tho, dunno why
around 2seconds of holding J should open the cockpit automatically.

Whenever the vid went "cannons", "firepower" and showing them shoot down aircrafts , I was wondering how many takes it took because of sparkles...or was Gaijin able to fix that problem?
Sparks are also sometimes caused by server issues, because of the way the mg 151’s work

Because then some people want the Harrier and the Su 7 Flanker and in the end we get an Avro Vulcan and an B 47 with abnormous payloads.

Otherwise the german techh tree is higly underpowered when it comes to jet fighters.

The Bf109 F4 is by far my most loved plane in the German tech tree, even in the whole game! Speed, manouvrability, good payload options like the extra 20mils with the ground targets belt penning up to 50 mm of armor.
P.s. I really enjoy playing his game! I have maaaaaaany hours in it.
Hint: If you want to grind these toys fast, get the Me264 and whenever you got an RP-booster, go into sim battles and bomb airfields efficiently into smithereens.
This works with bombers of many different nations if the payload is appropriate.
sim battle bomber grind is very much broken and easy to do.
