Imru' al-Qays - The Wandering King
Вставка
- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- Imru’ al-Qays, was known as the wandering king, because he spent his life seeking revenge, and the re-establishment of his father’s lost kingdom. He is sometimes referred to as the father of Arabic poetry, because he established many of the conventions and themes in Arabic poetry - which the poets after him followed.
However, he wasn’t always concerned about power and vengeance. He spent his youth as a ‘playboy’, chasing women and drinking.
What made him special is his way with words. He puts his experiences, emotions and pain into his mesmerizing poetry.

If we consider the life of Imr Al Qays, we should learn a teaching. STOP SAYING THAT YOU HAVE A BAD LUCK. Imr Al Qays was a man whose life was full of innumerable miseries and bad luck.
في نفس القصيدة امروء القيس ذكر
تاوبني دائي القديم فغلسا احاذر ان يرتد فانكسا
هذا يدل انه ما قتل من قبل الصير انما مرض قديم عاد عليه وبقوة
Keep up the good work. Thank you for this.

Great 😊
I have arab blood from the Banu Al Harith as was told to me by my mother (no wonder I'm handsome haha) and before my great grandma died she often cries in arabic crying for her father and mother (who died when they were invaded). I can still remember her sad cries. My mother refuses to teach me arabic as she said we have been betrayed by our arab muslim kins.
Where are you from?
@@nour-eddineahmina We were in Europe but moved to the US as muslims seems to be pouring in to Europe since 2012. My mom says the offensive Jihad has begun. So I researched about offensive Jihad and it makes sense. World domination under a caliphate system under sharia law is the end game of Islam. I hope muslims will still accept dhimmi, we don't want another armenian genocide or banu quarayza or another repeat of what happened to my great grandparents.

Please write the poem in description also
It's not a short poem in the Western or even the eastern sense. It's more of a long epic.
