We ultimately need mid- 50's virtuosic ingenuity artistry experience to join a new mid-life crisis supergroup.. Unleash The 50's 🤣 My top 3 track from ‘Phantoma’. The euphonious vocal octaves produced is idiosyncratic unique. UTA's has undergone is so indicative of that which other coming of age have also endured. Effectively created a mythological journey an exhibition of creativity and variation of combination of sounds. The lyrical tracks are ambiguous yet introspective. ‘Apex’ (2017) and ‘Abyss’ (2020) were not so much developments as complete evolutions of UTA's sound, and ‘Phantoma’ takes this growth even further. In fact, in terms of songwriting, ‘Phantoma’ is one of the best modern power metal albums I have heard in a long time, that it gives bands belief and confidence for further future artists of the genre. Variation is another second coming asset of ‘Phantoma’ combining influences into a more cohesive whole. The synthwave and 80's prog-pop influences of early Steve Hogarth-era (Marillion) to mind tho are part of the contemporary power metal ballad.
