I think my favorite part of this album is going from is the 80s rock ballad style and hopefulness of Give It Up Or Give It All, and then Phantoma goes absolutely SLAUGHTERHOUSE in the last 3 songs. It's all positive and emotional and then her promise to herself is to MURDER ALL OF EXISTENCE. That's metal right there.

Part of becoming sentient as well. Knowledge of the tree of life. Good and evil. When to love life and when to take it. Awesome story telling by Brittany!

I went to high-school with Brittany. She was an amazing vocalist at 15! How much she has progressed. So proud of her and her band. Wish them and you OSN the very best. Love the content fan for life!

Mistake I met brit at 13 and left at 15. She had the most amazing Lauren hill impression of killing me softly! I will remember her voice forever because of that time at the south surrey indoor pool adjacent from our high-school. With Kevin tori and I. So cool her band is getting the attention they deserve

I 100% agree with you on the Rush comparison with Human Era. It completely sets the stage for the rest of the album, and even though it's probably the least flashy song on the album, it adds so much to the overall listening experience and primes your ears for what's to come

i have heard all their music from their previous four albums starting with behold the devastation and i hear the progression and im impressed with the sound production and they were still looking to improve their sound. they were able to incorporate such uplifting elements all over their albums of such music to my ears full of earworms to me i just heard all the singles from phantoma album for the third time. starting with their first album behold the devastation and demons of the astrowaste has more death growls from both sounds excellent and then going to time stands still terrific sound there and apex you get to hear more of everyone's vocal and harmonizing prowess still top tier to me and with apex abyss to phantoma such a cool transition to phantoma because this album is so musically dynamic and such an powerfully uplifting elements nothing gets lost in the mix such awsome scifi atmosphere they've composed. i didn't spend much time listening to power metal because it was so cliche at the time but i was looking for these kinds of influences but wasn't finding them but at this point their pretty unmistakeable especially with bands like Vancouver BC Canada's own unleash the archers or milan italys own frozen crown answer to power metal with call of the north but sounds to me like some truely awesome holy heavy metal holy fire and their music has that quality so much energy like electricty in my veins make you feel like a superhero whether it be for a stranger or a relative and there is so much life in her vocals holy smokes and i watched three of these album review podcasts all good but with this music and i loved those iron maiden albums brave new world and number of the beast classic albums to me

The live "listening party" on bandcamp was so fun. Surprised I didn't get a noise complaint from blasting the whole thing.

Duuuuude. You need to know about another hard rock power trio from BC.
    Freeze The Fall.
Singer/guitarist Quinn is 17, bassist Aria is 15, drummer Jonah is 15.
Official video for Daughters Of Witches.
    You will not be disappointed.

I think Gods in Decay is the downfall and the next song is the pick up montage….and then Phantoma and her followers massacre the remaining humans and the Collective.

I remember in Stephen King's last novel of The Dark Tower, he stops and tells the reader towards the end that if they want a happy ending they should stop here where the story could have ended...he was right. All stories don't need a happy ending to be good..and this ending is really good.

I think this album has some great writing. I really don't like the mixing though. It's like there is some weird treble-heavy compression on everything. It probably sounds the same on $10 or $300 headsets. I got the vinyl and I was hoping it was just a bad pressing so I listened here. Sounds the same. Your voice has far more richness than the bass guitar or drums. Hopefully they will find a way to mix it better live.

A lot of recent Jacob Hansen mixes have been kind of hit or miss. I noticed it too on the Kamelot album from last year.

Yea... Really notice that in my Wilkins Bowsers soundsystem. Subwoofer is basically idle the whole time. :(
