6:51... - 😄. I looooove the bass!!! And that solo. And that Nick's rehearsing with pink crocs on🤘😄. I also think Brittney should moonwalk in every video from now on, no matter what the song's about - I'm picturing her moonwalking through the whole of "Give It Up Or Give It All" 😏.
If I'm remembering correctly🤔, Brittney said that Phantoma first decided to wipe out _everybody_ (she was that disillusioned/pissed off) but then decided on just a certain group of humans and The Collective. Only two more😭!

Footage from this video was shot at 2 festival appearances last year. Mad With Power Fest and ProgPower USA. I was lucky enough to see them play at ProgPower in Atlanta, and they were incredible!! They also played this song for us, before the album was out! Glad you are enjoying this, Deyana!

Brittney said this song takes place (I think) about a year and a half from the end of "Give It Up or Give It All." The Collective and human war has been raging and The Collective is pretty heavily winning. Suddenly a third army starts attacking from the shadows and is taking out both sides of the war with ruthlessness and speed. The harsh vocals is the leader of the collective calling out to the person leading the third army, saying I know who you are, come out and show yourself.

The daughters preacher vocality In addition to the versatility far more than I have relished vocals that are typically paired with this style of music from every time I have previously experienced contemporary 'Phantoma'. What is perfectly done is that not only are elements incorporated, but that each of these elements makes for the track "Ghosts In The Mist". I'm aware UTA are not the first to use synths in the genre at all, but UTA's approach is unique, giving their songs a much more science fiction/futuristic vibes than most other bands. Outside of this, reminding me of Heart's Ann Wilson at times but with a bigger emphasis on an epic sound associated with the genre. That makes the record as it sets it apart from every other in the genre that has come out this year and gives it such a different edge. This very particular atmosphere, combined with some exploration of musical ideas well outside UTA's comfort zone and general smarter songwriting. Reflecting on UTA's career to date. Despite skyrocketing in popularity with 2017’s “Apex”, UTA had quite a few records before that, which blended a mix of styles. Wisely, they dropped some of the less favourable elements on their last outing, resulting in a very power metal-oriented release (with the occasional outside influence). It wasn’t necessarily a hard left turn from the band’s previous work, but certainly it was not as anticipated as 2020’s “Abyss” has been. In fact, this newest release 'Phantoma' has an immeasurable amount of hype surrounding it in the power metal community. And, certainly going to live up to it!
