I’m starting to get turned on to MG here lately. It’s taken awhile to get used to the motor sitting sideways for me but I think it’s a beautiful bike. I’m definitely loving this one most.
Having had my V100S for six months now i would agree with most of what was said, the gearbox has definitely improved with time and the described gear train lash is not a problem. It now shifts better than when I picked it up from the dealer. The only real criticism is the quick shifter is not good going down from third to second and first. In all other aspects the bike is superb to ride. The Bluetooth connectivity is not well described in the manual and getting connected seemed to need the brain of a rocket scientist ( or a seven year old ) but once mastered it works well. M-G could improve the customer experience with a better written owners manual that describes the functionality a little better but this is not insurmountable. The final comment is get the S model if only for the suspension I did and don’t regret the decision for one second.
My problem is that the S version doesn't come in the white livery with gold wheels. To me that color scheme makes this one of the best looking bikes I have ever seen. The S color schemes are average, making this bike look like most every other bike on the road....ordinary. If I could get the S in white I would buy one tomorrow, but as it stands, I'm on the fence.
this thing is gonna be heavily overpriced like the other moto guzzis and triumphs. american and euro bikes are marked up by at least 50% with their actual SRP. don't give me shit about taxes and stuff coz japanese bikes aren't overpriced like that here. they're more like overpriced by 100k-200k compared to euro and american bikes that are overpriced by 300k-400k. that's absolutely stupidly overpriced. bili nalang ako ng auto.
According to sir zach, th prices are set by Apac. Taiwan singapore and korea have the same bikes we have but prized higher. Japanese bikes have smaller bikes sold in volume that help subsidize cost. It unfortunately is the way it is. -admin
Excellent review! Very engaging style and delivery. Packed with good, detailed info others don't bother with. Much appreciated!

Are you sure your acceleration figures are right?
If so, my 2015 V7 is quicker! (And believe me, the V7 is not a quick bike!)
There's the whole human factor here as well. If you tried it im sure you woudve accelerated faster than sir Zach. He was slow on the takeoff.. -admin
@@makina8879 hmmmm......I'm not convinced. My granny could beat those figures on her Honda cub.
