Jeff thanks so much for the reaction despite my potato computer. I’m a music producer that is pushing my little acer nitro5 laptop to its max. I grew up with MSFS 2004 and watching you over the years has rekindled my love of aviation and flight sim. I have my graphics low af (obviously) to make it as smooth as I can. Lots of practice has gone into using an Xbox controller to fly but it’s a ton of fun. Honored to have been included in this video thank you for the kind words and bearing with my graphics 🕷🖤
This was a really fun video to watch :D also Jeff just wanted to someday thank you for your content. I watched your fly with me videos when i was like 8 or 9 years old having no clue about aviation but just finding them so entertaining still! i got into flight simming thanks to those videos and that lead me to wanting to become a pilot! so thanks for being the person to introduce me into the world of aviation! this channel has a special place in my heart
This was great. I know nothing about aviation but I enjoy your passion for it. Looooved the stream of you and Ryan flying together. Amazing how much you know and how much Ryan has learned
Here I am, a total avgeek...watching the video purely for aviation. What thumbnail do I see in the background at the 5:59 mark, you ask? The video that I edited!!!!!!!!! Jan Terri's "Skyrockets" hahahaha
This would be a cool once a week thing lol, Good start to my Afternoon!!! Ill definitely submit some of mine. Btw, have you tried out the shared cockpit for the 737? would be dope for some southwest OPS.
Love these commentaries Jeff! Can't wait to see more flight sim content from you! One thing though, the thousand footers aren't the touchdown zone, they are the aiming point - on instrument runways the touchdown zone ends where the thin single stripes on either side of the runway centerline end. According to the FAA, the touchdown zone is defined as the first third or first 3,000 feet of a runway, whichever is shorter. In flight school we were taught to try to land right on the thousand footers, but if you do that then you have to adjust your aiming point to actually be in front of the designated aiming point. In a transport category aircraft the only time you would ever do something like that is if you are landing on a very short runway that was also contaminated. Awesome video man!
I love how you're changing it up with the content and I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more reaction videos. As other comments have said, I know nothing about aviation but your passion for it just makes for a great watch.
I feel called out with all the centerline comments. In real life, that’s the only struggle I have in my landings 😂 this is fun to watch! I’d love to see more of this kind of content
It’s cool to see you reacting to other people’s Flight Simulator landings Jeff, this is quite unique. Keep up the great work and have a great day. Take care!
4:46 You got the Richmond part correct. But it's actually Richmond, British Columbia haha. The airport they're landing is actually Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
I was the ICRC A320 around 18:00. Yes I recorded that live, and that was in my early days so I was using a controller (hence why I was so hard on the touch down. I have an actual HOTAS now). I still look back on it and see how I’ve improved since then.
17:00 The landing lights from 10,000 is very much an FAA thing, typically in Europe most SOP dictates the lights go on as you're cleared to land as another visual indicator to reconfirm in case you get distracted, the same applies here in Japan, JCAB recommend from 5,000 but airline SOP overrules Recommendation not Regulation😊
One key thing I love about this video is how you don't give them flat-out graded scores or flat-out say "this is the absolute worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life" but rather give constructive criticism if it's not the best
Jeff, the touchdown zone comprehends all the markings, not just the 1000ft. TALPA ARC procedures consider a operational landing touching the 1500ft mark, with 7 seconds of floating.
4:41 is Vancouver International Airport in Canada I'm pretty sure. The airport itself is located in the city of Richmond, British Columbia just south of Vancouver (The Flair livery also gave it away) and also I think 1:39 is X-Plane mobile
I remember someone that played a FiveM flight sim that I played named Emeralis. I believe it is the same sim and same person that was in the video. Sadly, the FiveM flight Simulator, Limitless Flight Simulator, formerly Lucaas flight simulator (the fs UA-cam Lucaas owned it in the past), also called LFS has recently shut down due to the server costs being too expensive. There are still FiveM flight sims though

Outstanding job. That was a very pleasing approach to watch.
@@austinnelsaviation thank you so much! I have 110 hours on this sim and only got it a month ago 😅
@@therecluzemusic I myself have over 750 hours on the VATSIM network, 118 hours in the A320.

P.S, I left a video of my landing on the Reddit page 😊
Ahh yes a fine addition to my stressful work morning. This will take the edge off lol

It'd be a lot of fun to have you sit at the LSO station on a carrier in DCS when a group is doing carrier workups.
I could feel it on my head almost Jeff has the best commentary hahah
I just posted my King Air landing in a Seattle light rain storm!!!
This would legit make a great series lol there's just something about plane landings that are so enjoyable to watch. 😊
I grew up watching Jeff as a child now amazing what his channel became
jeff you should make a series of this atleast 20

I'd absolutely love to see more of these
It's videos like this that make me wanna get MSFS. Thank you Jeff that's very kind of you, lots of love man❤

Thanks for the high praise Jeff @10:38

Halfway through and this is a GREAT video Jeff lol, having tons of fun.
4:45 "Richmond landing" with PMDG 737 is at CYVR Int'l, in B.C., Canada.

I’ve been waiting oohhhh yea buddy can’t wait to watch this!! Thanks Jeff!
Edit: After watching the video you should definitely do more!
4:54 - that's Richmond BC just south of Vancouver, YVR is located in the city of Richmond!
whole proper setup and still cant land properly 15:10
Not the Jan Terri recommendations! LOL great vid
That dude at 15 minutes taxis like he works for southwest 🤣
The potatoes were killing me 😂
you should definitely do a how to do a butter landing video

I think you meant "ROASTING your landings!" haha, great video!
“We got potato happening” 😂
lol i think i got the only 0/10 😂 (gta clips)
I was doing an emergency landing as my throttle stuck
Jeff the GOAT
Hey jeff some of the landings I've seen as a controller in vatsim Vat pacific are mental espically with the 170's
You should come fly milk run one time

jeff's beard is on point
15:15 all the gear no idea. Can't even bring it in straight lol
The PMDG 737 is so satisfying to land
Jeff lands any aircraft like a pro.
I dunno about that
That was fun! I might record a landing or two just so you can get some more content for another one of these.
Loved this definitely look forward to more 😊
Happy Monday!
Same to you!
as a ppl holder with GA landing you do tend to dive and flare late utilising the energy gain, completely different to Airline descent,
as a ppl holder there is a massive difference between that and what we saw here
I want more of these videos, they are great! Gotta love the potatoes😂
The Flair one was CYVR Vancouver Intl in British Columbia Canada.
I mean, DCS World is probably the only place you can land a Su-33 on the Admiral Kuznetsov since it hardly ever leaves its dry-dock in Murmansk
Vatsim will be great should record it. Love what you are doing
Yo I remember your x plane videos, glad to see you again.
Love the videos jeff 💚
This is a great idea Jeff. Awesome video.
I've been wanting to get into flight sim, but I know nothing about planes. I'd love to see a tutorial series from you if you'd ever plan on that.
“Potato PC” 😂😂😂
Jeff reacts to our iracing or racing crashes??
4:42 it’s Vancouver International. Richmond is a city in the greater Vancouver area.
You should do a Bombardier CRJ American Eagle flight
You know a ton about plane types sheesh man
a great idea cant wait for the next one
My 1st time here great reviews ❤
This video was so cool! Could you possibly do a reaction video of trains?
Mad roast session! 😂😂😂
