- I'm reviewing the Hoka Kawana 2 to see if they are a good shoe for gym workouts. Hoka themselves label this shoe as a training and gym shoe so I was interested to see how these Hoka shoes perform in that scenario. Are they really the best Hoka shoes for working out?

Just received these and will get them in the gym tomorrow. We rarely do super heavy squats so should be great. Did notice there is a sock on the inside of the shoe. Stoked to see how they perform and great review.

@@ListedFit they were amazing. Felt super supported and locked in. Was a bunch of variety in the workout with some jumping and cardio. Was nice to have some cushioning vs what I had been using. Very stoked.

I had Kawana first version and with the curves & how soft the soles of shoe design, I could sense that deadlift/squat with heavy weights (mine experience is >60kgs) or any workout that needs feet on the ground for balance wouldn't suit this. But it effectively supports me in cardio, jumps, et.c workouts in GroupX. One downside is its toebox were easy to be dirtysince there is no protection much on it :D
