Do you wish I made a Yamcha Impact crater? Wish GRANTED! Watch: ua-cam.com/video/s4qXLPxSiCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=6dZxs3JBEmlSPd7B
Awesome work, here via Boylei Hobby Time's channel, subbed and liked.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you coming over and subscribing.
Same. Here by recommendation of Boylei Hobby Time
@@JessiFayS thanks for taking the time to come over and check out my channel.
Looks awesome .can't wait to see the final product
All I can say is WOW! I never saw that someone can make that anime look in real life. You gave me some good ideas for my channel :D
Thank you! It's taken a lot of practice for sure. Glad this will be helpful for your channel
@@vascotoys I tried to make something similar for my project last year but I couldn't find the right techniques...so the whole project went into the trash can. I will try your way, maybe I will get lucky this time :D
@@lionsbrush that's a bummer. Good luck this time around!
Looks great!🔥🔥🔥✌🏼
Really appreciate these tutorials
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks Brennan!
Outstanding bro
Thank you 😀
Amazing work on that dio.I’m loving these terrain diorama builds
Thanks! Glad to hear it. I love the terrain builds
Well done, great work!
Thanks Fabio! Glad you like the piece
Great video Vincent! This piece looks so cool! I love the smaller rock formations around the impact crater, it really sells the illusion. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I always appreciate your support. I had a lot of fun making this one and am proud of it
Good video,thank you
You got it! Thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment. 👍
Thank you for still contributing your art techniques
Of course. If it weren't for UA-cam tutorials I would have never discovered this hobby. It's important to me to pay that forward when I can.
That looks really awesome man. Very inspiring too. Thanks for sharing 🐤
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done! Looks great dude!
Thank you! Haven't done an impact crater in a while. Really enjoyed making this
First time here. Subbed.
Thank you 🙏. I have another terrain build coming out this Friday.
@@vascotoys Wonderful. I am here for it.
Love your channel! Just discovered this today! Been binge watching your stuff! I mainly work in 1:18 scale. I’d love to see how to make diorama accessories like power/breaker boxes, AC units, etc…
Thanks! Appreciate you watching and glad you enjoy the channel. Will keep all those ideas in mind!
Great build Vincent.
Thank you Mista C! Always appreciate your kind words.
I’m definitely wanting to try this but I don’t have a hot knife so maybe I’ll wait. Otherwise I’d have to try to carve each layer before gluing them together. Excellent work and great video thank you
Thank you! A hot knife definitely makes it a quicker process.
Glad i found your channel
Me too! Thanks for checking out my videos.
Thanks. I don't want a wall but I'm sure same principles apply for a ground crater.
Yes for sure. Just make sure the foam you are cutting the crater into is deep enough to accommodate the crater.
Hey Michael, not sure if you saw but I now have a video about a ground impact crater. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/s4qXLPxSiCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=zgrARdlKpFKOd1Tn
I see batcave before the "impact" zone. Now I just need to scale ot to 1/6 scale for hot toys😎
Hey sorry for missing this! I think you are totally right. I could see that.
That's gonna be a lot of foam
@@jaredperry917 nothing that can't be done😎
One day, I swear I will attempt one of these builds. I may be intoxicated so I at least have that to blame on it not coming out as nice as your builds.
Hahahahaha of you ever have any questions Sonny, just let me know. Will be happy to help
I thought the same as you and mine came out decent. Go for it man. You never know until you try.
Very cool! Have you ever done a Yamcha crater?
I have not! I wish I had the SH Figuarts Yamcha, but I missed out. Thanks for watching.
@@vascotoys same. Waiting for a rerelease
@@des_refan me too! Love the SH Figuarts DBZ line.
Hey Des, I now have a Yamcha crater video. Wanted to share in case you want to watch: ua-cam.com/video/s4qXLPxSiCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=zgrARdlKpFKOd1Tn
Do you have any videos of ground impact crater? Want to do something with my Marvel Legends Avalanche fig
Hey! I don't but it would be a similar process to what I did here.
Hey Michael! I now have a video that shows a ground impact crater: ua-cam.com/video/s4qXLPxSiCQ/v-deo.htmlsi=zgrARdlKpFKOd1Tn
Hello. What determines the temperature glue that gets used on these? Is it the type of foam? Low temp on a type of foam, high temp on another type?
Good question. Low temperature glue on XPS foam. High temp hot glue melts XPS
Thanks so much for the reply. I had more questions but found your glue guide video that I will watch. But curious about masking and the fan with the Hotwire tool. Those precautions aren’t needed when manipulating xps foam in general? Just watching out for my lungs lol
@@TheDragonzFire awesome! Hope you enjoy the glue guide. The only times I use a mask with XPS is if I am using a hotwire or sanding (which I don't like to do). I don't use a mask when I carve the foam with a knife. That's how I know to best protect myself.
Ok thanks again. Sounds like if manipulating the foam in a well ventilated area it’s fine. I initially got concerned because I was like isn’t that foam used in insulation and toxic??But I looked it up and it’s all good especially since I would only be cutting with a blade
You can literally do so much with foam people don’t even realize.
So true! It's my favorite material for sure.
@@vascotoys I looking into making a floating display shelf, themed after one of the stages from Smash Bros (I have a big Smash action figure collection) and I’m think foam is the best material for the majority of the project.
@@obi-onekenerdi you could totally use foam for that! Sounds like an awesome project. Good luck with it!
Itu menggunakan styrofoam jenis apa??
XPS insulation foam. I get it at Home Depot in the United States. The name of the company that makes it is Owen's Corning
Excuse me ,sorry to bother you 🙂
What kind of your mask you wear in video?(Filter、cartridge)
Hey! No need to apologize. Here is my Amazon affiliate link for the 3M fume mask I use: amzn.to/3LF2gdU
@@vascotoys Thanku so much 😃.
I want to check the mask use
6001 organic vapor cartridge and 5P71 filter,right?
@@user-ru8pe6bt8w yes, that's what I have used, but it's always a good idea for you to look into the safety specs and make sure you are comfortable with them. I'm no safety expert.
The reason you got the gaps is that you used hot glue and no weight on it.
Thanks Kevin, I'm happy with the way things turned out. Since I made this video I have also been using Plaster of Paris on a lot of these kinds of builds, which helps fill in any gaps.
