Same machine with different symtom, fills and will not start to agitate, normally it agitates a few times breifly as it fills before it starts to agitate during the wash cycle, the timer never advances from the start position as it is filling, however you can advance the timer to spin cycle and it spins and drains normally and the timer does then advance and shuts off the machine at the end of the spin cycle, tube is not blocked, lid switch has been bypassed, all three terminals on the load sensing control have 120v. Any sugestions for diagnosis?
@@patrickknapp7038 I’m guessing it is another sensor that has failed. Do a google search and see if anybody else’s is having the same problem. I have not experienced that. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, I would have never had the confidence to repair my washer myself without your video. You saved me so much money! Thanks again for taking the time to film and share.
That issue can also be caused by a power outage and fixed by resetting the machine to original specs. Unplug power for 10 minutes, plug back in and open and close lid 6 times. After that test machine, it worked for me.
My machine is doing weird things. Sometimes it is just fine other times it is not finishing cycles or, as it is doing right now, Flashing on spin, but filling with water. Also not spinning properly and I have to rerun the whole cycle again. Have a GE top loader. This is the third time I have tried to finish the same load
Have the exact same washer. Kenmore 800. Looks identical until I opened the control panel. How is it possibly different parts?! The sensor is behind the temperature knob on mine and it's a much larger sensor with a different part number?
This is my exact model and problem! I ordered the sensor and received the same you replaced yours with. I don't have the testers, so I just hope the sensor is the only problem. Your video has been the best one I've found on how to replace, so wish me luck. Will let you know. BTW, is it possible to replace a lid switch that will allow you to see the water running when you open the lid? I hope so, because I ordered one...lol
Just had to come back and say, 'I DID IT!!!" I can't thank you enough! I'm so proud of myself too!! I subscribed, so I hope you do more instructional videos!
@@omar92384 I bought it from Amazon, Kenmore Auto Load Sensing Switch OEM W10292584. I see the price has really increased, but the part is still doing it's job. I returned the lid switch as it wasn't going to do what I needed. Hope this helps.
I have a kenmore washer without load selector, but light and heavy load add same amount of water. It is wasting water and some tecnician say that it is like that can you help me
That is unfortunate. I’m not sure what the problem is, but maybe it is a different sensor that needs to be changed. You may want to do a google search to see if anybody else is having the same problem.

Is it possible to take the housing off that sensor and adjust it to get more water?
@CarFreak Damn, you're inside of a circle looking for a corner, you don't even understand what I just said 🤣🤣🤣
Sometimes you should maybe just open the valve.
