I just wanna explore the room of inmates belongings so bad 😩 there’s probably so many things in there from the early 2,000’s and idk why but that’s so interesting to me 😂
This place was terrible. The doors to the cells between the day rooms were pneumatic and blew dust everywhere, there were big rats, everything was nasty. Lot of violence.
If you ever go back, grab some IDs and shred those, I make sure to do so when i’m exploring just cause of identity theft is real (also great video, the beginning I didn’t quite understand cause it sounded like you were talking real fast).
Wait, was this the George Allen Jail on top of the civil courts building at 600 Commerce St? I was locked up there in 2004 on a misdemeanor, it was just an overflow facility by then - it wasn't the main county jail since 1983. It was a wild spot at the time, dudes facing the death penalty were housed with guys who had a pot seed or a roach in their car.
Hey John. Not all abandonments on here are dallas based; most are but since it’s becoming scarce to find abandonments in Dallas sometimes I have to venture out just outside of texas to continue bringing quality content.
@@AbandonedDallas there's that old grocery store by the M Line Trolley, I forget the cross streets bit it's a super busy area so probably not a great suggestion
Cingular Wireless is Att not Samsung lol 🤣 that's a sidekick I belive. And that looks like a gynecologist tool for woman's holes 🤣 yall youngeee. Cool vid broski
That is better known as the fish tank the room that you weighed in before you get ready to go upstairs yeah that's called the fish tank why because you're behind a lot of glass and guards look at you like you're a bunch of fish and a fishbowl
Such a great explore! Wish I didn’t have to miss out on it.
We need to do a Texas trip 👀
Last abandoned jail I was in was about 1978. The Old Hamilton County, Tennessee jail, it was so old it still had working gallows!
That must be the government center In downtown Dallas I did lil time there
No this is the jail in New Orleans
This has to be like a storage for stuff because of how much is still there and the water bottles and stuff look new

Dude grabs the speculum having been told what it does, and with 50/50 chance he holds the business end... tough luck there buddy
Soo many locks and keys!! I'd have a field day there
I need to brush up on some lock sport it’s been a minute
He'll yea man!
Leave some for me 😂
Being shocked by that cell phone really ages yall
I had that env 2 in 9th or 10th grade lpl
We’re the warden now….😂😂😂
Why did they leave all the inmates belongings there. Why not return them when they closed down in 2012
My guess: because they’re incompetent like most of the US justice system
If that's the old city jail downtown,. The movie DAYLIGHTS END WAS FILMED THERE a few years ago .
That the abandoned prison in New Orleans. You can see the water line from the floods from hurricane Katrina.
It's very nice video very excellent too bad they had to close by jail they could have fix it up
Love vintage jails love the old school charm
Way you love it?, why old school would be better?

I think walking around with a backpack full of someone else's IDs might make your trespassing charges a little more serious
Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhh lol

All I can disclose is that it’s in the south
@@AbandonedDallas Thats weak that YOU can go break the law but not tell others where this shit is
@@TobyTradesApex daddy chill, I said it’s in the south 😰
Decker, dallas, was a hotel too,,,Elvis stayed here
All the supplies, electricity still on....thank god for taxes!🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
If it's not too confidential where is this located I would like to visit with my wife

@@AbandonedDallas ah gotcha, makes sense 👍🏻
But rest assured that when buildings do go abandoned in Dallas I’m consistently the first one to explore and make a video on it 👍🏼
@@AbandonedDallas there's that old grocery store by the M Line Trolley, I forget the cross streets bit it's a super busy area so probably not a great suggestion
Maybe the ones that was left behind was the inmates that died they had no family left

yeah I remember when I used to have cingular then att bought them out lol
It literally said Samsung on the back of the phone
I had that phone 😂
Almost positive I did too lmao
Tax payers money keeping those lights on
Wrong end it's for the throat.
To bad you couldn't find any inmate uniforms
Guaranteed they searched all of it and found all the cash in all that stuff. Thousands of dollars in there guaranteed
I doubt that. Most jails take inmates cash and put it on their books or send it in to court for fines and costs
@@mirandaburroway3658 exactly. every time I went to jail the money I had on me always went on my books
Only personal belongings jewelry for sure

Bad people go to jail.

Do the ethical thing by returning the personal effects
