“I wonder if this is a panic room???” It’s literally a bulletproof door for the shooting range. I’d assume anyone with a gun range in their home would want a bulletproof door on it lol
Besides some of the tech and bedding I would not upgrade this place. What a cooool ass find and capsule! WOW. I hope someone keeps it in its glory and uses for like movies or something fun!. I am surprised there isn't a lot of mold.
Apparently this place was built as a 'corporate retreat' based on the design and feel I can see that. Has a very 80s early 90s corporate feel to it. He might've listed it as that for tax reasons, but it is still a impressive house/retreat.
I can't imagine the bill for windex alone. Too much glass everywhere. One hailstorm and it'll probably be a little cheaper to write off the place as a loss!
I thought the same exact thing, but hey! They did mention people from Hollywood were looking to scout it, so maybe you’ll see it on the big screen one day!
Looks like he enjoyed bidets. As for the gun range the heavy door and glass serves two purposes. One to reduce noise coming from the range. Two in case of ricochet or negligent discharge the round will not pass into the house.

Evergreen In 1991, Plaster and Evergreen National Corporation built Evergreen Crystal Palace, a 28,000-square-foot green-glass and marble structure on a bluff over Table Rock Lake. The Stone County Assessor said in 1991 that construction cost for the building was $6 million and the value of the approximately 400 acres of Plaster's land nearby was $750,000. Although sources originally reported the mansion would be used as Plaster's home and Evergreen corporate retreat, an attorney for Evergreen issued a press release stating the building was a corporate facility.
Anything could be in them. It's to preserve history and give people in the future some perspective. In 20 years they'll need to have someone cut the marble open.
I don’t recommend going here without permission from the evergreen investment group, they have a full time care taker and the sheriff does daily rounds and the property is filled with cameras, multiple people have been arrested so far.
“Cameras EVERYWHERE” Those things are 30 years old and probably not even recording. If they do even get anyone they probably just show up as a blob and definitely couldn’t make anyone’s face out.
