At last a honest review. I have heard many comments that the PRX feels very cheap when handled but yet all the reviews are praising it... Watch industry is becoming a joke these days - especially in the swiss "affordable" range.. they are selling 50$ worth of watches for 550$.
I got a green one from an AD and it’s silkly smooth from ever angle. I loved this watch so much that i searched on eBay for the ice blue version and the bracelet sides could be used as a cheese grater. I don’t understand why they are so different. Thanks for the video bro.
Great Video Tomas! You are a true watch enthusiast. I believe that a majority of us, watch geeks, go into a mod and half way thru start saying "this should not be done by any sane person", but many times we conquer the mod and end up happy with an acceptable result. Best regards
I usually replace the clasps on new watch bracelets with that Ali Express clasp. Mainly for the extra micro adjustments. For the money it is hard to beat. I have seen a newer clasp on Ali Express with on the fly micro adjustments. I will have to give that one a try at some point.
Great review! I think value-for-money and expectations is where Swiss watches fall short since they charge a premium (compared to Japanese or even Chinese watches).
And Chinese watches are getting better each year as well. While Swiss.. Hm.. Seems like they are just holding on their history and heritage while they can..
I have 35mm Quartz with Green dial, absolute stunner. My date skips 2 minutes before the midnight. My opinion about the watch is good for what you get, if you're able to get it used in good condition or able to buy it new with a discount from a retailer, it's definitely good watch. Overall score 9/10.
Tomas, I couldn't agree more. The endless hype by bloggers led me to buy a PRX but I was deflated when I actually had it in my hands, so I promptly sold it. Instead I got the Christopher Ward Twelve in 36mm size. Now that's a beautiful and very high quality watch. Far superior to the Tissot.
In my country, the Christopher Ward Twelve is £1050, the PRX Quartz is £355, and the PRX Automatic is £640. It doesn't make any sense to compare them unless they're a similar price where you're from
I got a 35mm PRX auto last Monday. Finally got it on my wrist for some time today and I agree about the chainsaw part. My Seiko skx007 has no problems with comfort at all which is weird because this PRX cost me 3 times as much. I’d imagine close to at least double the comfort and design behind the watch links. While the Seiko clearly isn’t build as “nice” as far as material and movement, it feels far more comfortable.. kinda disappointing.
It’s a £200 watch. Not many Swiss watches within that price. Did you check the serial number on the website? I changed my Powermatic 80 to the rubber waffle strap. Game changer!

difficult question.. Both look amazing. Parnis has 0 street credit. PRX is fine. But if you want something with a high street credit - Casio A159WGE :D
At six o'clock....the hour hand is not straight. My guess all the hands has not been installed according to standard thats why the midnight date also not change at 00:00......oh no
There's also another problem: very often the minute hand is not on a marker when the seconds hand is at the 12 hour mark. On nearly every single one in the exhibition windows it is bad... Same happens when you buy a 10 Euro watch at Lidl or Aldi.
you are wrong here. You can stop seconds hand and move minute hand where you want while seconds hand is stopped. Or are you just making fun of me here? :D

How about glass deep? every second matches if you get right angle (when sitting, hand on table with right position, and trying to enjoy when catching this moment 😅) Lume, yes, its weak, but works in the middle of the night... I don't think this is a fake watch. I think you've just found the flaws of a poorly designed, albeit, genuine Tissot. You're the only content creator in the watch community I know of that scrutinizes the hyped watches everyone else is trying to promote. I'd give this video several likes if I could for me each of the elements you've pointed out. Although I do also agree, the watch looks quite nice on your wrist.
agreed. its over-rated. i bought a cheap clommage by Specht and Sohne (German name made in China) for £60 new. I use the bracelet as a box opener ...so its a multi-purpose
I didn’t like this model since beginning no matter what people says. The price is still overrated for this piece. It’s better to buy a tissot gentleman or ballade model with some extra bucks. While the plastic part inside the mechanism, bad lume, the integrated dial and bracelet design doesn’t go with everyday watch. The dial texture design is also not that good. However, as a swiss watch it can be a good option for plenty of people.
This is cool looking high quality piece, and I felt in need to have it as soon as I saw it. BUT . After many reviews and also as more people buy it my interest in this watch decreasing. For me my watches should represent my originality, should be unique and show my interest in watches , my style my knowledge. This Tissot is everywhere now, almost every day on online marketplace ,youtube videos or watch fans posts. Watch collectors buy this, oridinary people buy this, and flex with this. Feels like they pay for a cool brand name or likes...Im keeping away for now, I was thinking to buy this as style peace , but I will probably be trigerred by these misses of quartz seconds arrow. Needs some kind of mod maybe as original note
Bro the bracelet is metal and you arent meant to slide your skin against it like that lol, Def pretty finished its just the design is very angular. Butterfly clasp does not meant its meant to slide like a bracelet, just a clasp style all watches are meant to slide around.

You're not alone. I find it boring. Held one briefly at my local mall. Quickly gave it back to the merchant.
