Man, how am I just finding your channel?! I’ve been a record collector for 35+ years, and have a respectable amount of punk records. There’s not many bands I’m a completist with, but The BossTones are one of them. It took me almost 30 years, but I have their entire vinyl discography. I do have a NM 1st press of “and out came the wolves”, but it’s unfortunately my only copy. I played in a ska punk band called Big D and the Kids Table from about 2010 - 2013 or so, and ska and punk are hugely important to me. You’ll no doubt hear from me more, and again, I cannot believe I’m just finding your channel! Thank you! 🔊😵💫🎶🥳
all that I can say is that the "Street Dogs" album "fading american dream" is such one of the best albums that recorded in the zero years , fantastic record good as hell !
I'd have to play it to make sure it wasn't just a mis-label. Then if UT was actually Seger, I'd throw on some cowboy boots and feather my hair. Then cry.
And Out Come The Wolves, not a bad choice at all for all time favorite album. It's in my top 5 punk albums. Have it on cd, i don't collect vinyl. I'm not exclusively a punk guy, i listen to all kinds of music, but alternative rock is my favorite thing (especially 90s). My other top 5 punk albums would most likely be Bad Brains - Rock For Light Offspring - Smash Consumed - Hit For Six Suicide Machines - Destruction By Definition
I have a copy of the Life Won't Wait Demo Sessions, but I'll never get rid of it. I ALSO have a copy of the Demo's From The Pit CD that I may be willing to trade...I'll search for it later, and if I find it I'll let you know. Maybe we can make something happen ;)
@@thepunkrockreview Just searched through all my CD's and I can't find it. Not sure where it went! If I come across it in the future I'll let you know. Sorry
Lookout records had a physical shop below the offices upstairs in Berkeley they only had it open for a few years in the early 90’s that whole store was a grail 😮💨
Are you making ROI on those 7"s? I fucking love 7"s particularly splits but people buy less 7"s than they used to. Super stoked you were able to move those and the vinyl looks great. Good job man, be proud of what you accomplished, that record started out as a fucking thought now its a reality.
Yeah I own a record store, I sell a fair amount of 7" but not TONS of them. I'm almost in the black on these 2 and they're not even officially "out" yet. Pretty happy with how it turned out. I have 3 12" records on the way as well. The next one is Before Dawn. Members of Clit45, The Templars, and amad Sin. Absolutely incredible EP
I feel like the early '90s was the 7" heyday in punk. Those were my high school years and probably acquired upwards to 300 7s. Sad thing is after multiple moves over 2 decades, they have disappeared into a black hole or something. I have a few, but lost some serious gems.
@@thepunkrockreview thats rad! Thats what we always say, "if we make enough to put out another record, the previous one was worth it". Its struggle but having the store is a great channel to have for sure! Funny you mention the havoc, I knew those guys growing up in passing, I grew up in punk and hardcore. Also early on, Christian punk and my youth pastor who was in my band at the time, drummed for the Havoc. They were the nicest dudes, glad to see them going still! Great channel man!
@ A struggle ive had through moves too. Had so many good 7"s. The format is so cool but I think people just got for the larger format these days, especially with inflation with everything including vinyl production.
Hey brother, I’ve been enjoying your channel for a while now. I really liked the Jesse Michaels interview, and most recently, your punk rock record grails for 2025. I’ve got a copy of “this charming man” Every little secret on chocolate brown vinyl. If you’re interested, maybe we can work Something out. Just hit me up…
Heck yeah, thanks for supporting the channel! If you're interested in working out a deal on that record, shoot me an email any time! Channel name at Gmail dot com
That op ivy tape is very cool , never seen that. My grail is an original pressing of The minutemen double nickels on the dime and a samhain November coming fire and initium. Sadly I had an original pressing of the rancid lookout 7 inch with I'm not the only one and battering ram with the Molotov cocktail on the cover and I lost it 😢

Yo! I know Big D And The Kids Table!c that's awesome. Thanks for checking out the video, welcome to the crew!

Imagine you opened that copy of AOCTW and it was Bob Seger inside haha
I'd have to play it to make sure it wasn't just a mis-label. Then if UT was actually Seger, I'd throw on some cowboy boots and feather my hair. Then cry.

Dude I bought the first Lars frederiksen and the bastards cd and when I put it in and hit play it was the dropkick Murphy’s singles collection

My hot take is AOCTW was my generations London Calling. Every song is a banger
Life Won't Wait is more like London Calling and AOCTW is like Give Em Enough Rope. But your idea is correct and I hear people say that a lot
Wow that Rancid Demo sessions looks awesome! 👏
You can listen to it on UA-cam, you should check it out
@ I have a copy on cd mp3 thankfully would love that vinyl though! 🙏❤️
Gave This Charming Man a listen. Good stuff. Apparently Brian Fallon was in another band called Cincinnati Rail Tie.
My punk rock grail is the NOFX/Rancid BYO split and the Virus Nine album with the songs from the AF Records sampler from 2001/2002
That split isn't particularly hard to find, I'm not sure it's price, though. Not sure about the other one
@ I’m looking for both on CD. I haven’t looked too hard into finding them really, but I need to start searching.
Got Fading American Dream as well...splatter green and clear vinyl

I have an OCTW picture disc when they were selling them at Hot Topic. Think I bought it like 18 years ago.
I used to work at Hot Topic, I should have bought all those when they were on clearance way back when, lol
Both Out come the wolves and Energy are 10/10 bangers.
Absolutely

My all time holy grail is AK47's the badge means you suck 7 inch but discogs showed it last sold for over $1k...
Holy crap, those $1K records kill me... I have a record that sells close to that, it still blows my mind
Did you say street dogs are oi??
I did.
@ why do you think that?
@@Junklogic He got into oi in his 40’s. Give the guy a break
