I use the troy lee signature series I have the blue ones on my 660 and I love them I went threw several grips (6 different sets) until I found these. I absolutely love them.
Just purchased and installed a new set of ODI EMIG v2 in red/black (identical to the set in this video), and thus far, I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEE these grips on my 01 CR125r. They are a soft enough compound to where I have a comfortable grasp of bar in my hands but the half-waffle design ensures I have 100% hold when powerband kicks in. I highly suggest a pair of these grips, they will be the only grip I use on my bike from now on! Plus, the lock-on design makes install near effortless in comparison to grip glue and safety wire!!
Rocky Mountain ATV MC anytime! I have no problem sharing my feedback, heck I’ve practically rebuilt my entire bike this spring thanks to the products you sell. Always been a big fan of you guys, from the great prices to the best product review/how to videos on UA-cam! Two questions: 1. Have you thought about expanding into the snowmobile/snow bike market, as many of your customers are riders year round like myself? (Backcountry sled=16’ Polaris RMK 155”) 2. When is the winner annoyed for the Klim bag giveaway? (🤞🏻for the win)
We do currently have some snow gear (jackets, gloves, etc.) and even UTV tracks but haven't ventured into snow bike tracks yet. We'll definitely look into carrying more parts in the snowmobile and snow bike market in the future though. Also the Klim Pak giveaway runs through the 12th so we will be picking a winner on the 15th which is the following Monday.
Rogue's are the best for my hands. I prefer comfort and have been using these on every machine I've ever owned since discovering ODI 20 some odd years ago. Will never use anything but this brand's grips.
Yes, the motorcycle have one side slightly larger/made to accommodate a twist throttle. The ATV both sides should be the same and are designed more for thumb throttles.
Ever tried the oury pillow tops? Was wondering how they compare to the rogue. I've tried the oury and were really good before but was curious how similar or different they are? I know both are better and pillow top style so to speak for more vibration absorption and bigger hands. Was kind of wondering if there's one that's less sticky than the other and/or slower wearing. I like to have a good grip but I don't like them to feel like they melted into my hand in the summer and sticking to me which I've had happen with a different grip before long ago.
If you buy the throttle side, does the tube have a cable cam that matches my 2016 YZ250?? I crashed in practice yesterday and tore my throttle grip (stock). I need to find a quick replacement, that's in stock, for the last race of the season this coming weekend. And I won't have much time to install them before practice! Thanks!!!Good review btw!!
Yes, if you buy lock on grips they will come with the throttle cam for your bike. You will select your bike make and model when buying the grips to make sure that it comes with the correct cams for your YZ. Thanks for checking out the video!
The Troy Lee grips shown in this video are for ATV's so they will not work on motorcycles. But most MX grips are pretty universal so as long as you find grips meant for motorcycles, they should fit just fine on your bike.
I bought the emig and on the clutch side it rotates with it tightened all the way any recommendations to keep it where its supposedto be?? I have cr250r with wrap around hand guards
I really like the rogue grip. I race crosscountry and have large hands. I find they grip well in muddy situations and are comfortable

Glad to hear you're loving the new grips! It does make it so much nicer to not have to mess with safety wire or glue.
Thanks for the feedback!

I love mine but I cannot keep the locking screws from rusting...
any difference for motorcycle grips vs atv grips? or can they just fit each other?

Now I see it's been a year maybe you figured it out by now lol. My bad
