So what? I would argue that him knowing the end result of his plan makes it even worse, he still chose to create people in such a way that only a few would ever find him and be saved from the hell that he also created specifically for them to be tortured in. If he wanted for everyone to believe in him and be saved he could have made that happen but he chose not to. Btw I’m not “angry at god” like Christians love to tell me, I don’t think he exists in the first place to be angry at. I’m just pointing out that if he exists and if he is as powerful as I’ve been led to believe by every Christian I’ve ever interacted with, surely he could have done better than this.

Now, I don't think either the Flood or the Canaanite massacre are actual historical events. However, the author(s) of the Pentateuch did like to represent their deity with a generous anthropomorphic helping, as was typically the case in those times. it is a matter of faith that anyone would accept that the author actually had a hotline to the supreme creator of the universe who told him of all this, including all of the feelings of anger, vengeance, regret etc etc. Whether these events happened or not, it is worrying that christian theists feel that we all deserve the most awful and infinite suffering for merely existing.

It was the first time I ever heard someone back up the Bible with science and expose the evidence that evolutionary science hides or purposely misinterprets. That lecture changed my life and allowed me to see a more accurate picture of the Bible. The things I have learned from AIG, other ministries, and science has shown me how accurate the Bible is concerning creation and the Flood. The science behind evolution making the claims that life has been on earth for millions of years is absolutely ludicrous. The science promotiong evolution has more holes than a sieve.

Sadly, I know you will not take a blind bit of notice of what I am about to write. When I am Ill, I consult a doctor. If I wish to learn about Impressionism, I consult an art historian. If I have a raging toothache I see a dentist and if I have difficulty deciphering a medieval manuscript, I seek the help of a palaeographer. Likewise, for any sort of appraisal of the biblical flood story, I turn to the expertise of competent geologists, palaeontologists, archaeologists and biologists. Mr Ham is none of these. In each of these fields, incidentally, there are researchers who are also devout, practising Christians, who would take pleasure in explaining to you in very simple terms why the Genesis creation and flood stories are not remotely credible, whilst at the same time reassuring you that this does not undermine their own Christian faith.
As I have said multiple times elsewhere, please do not overlook the fact that a literal reading of the Old Testament as the true, inerrant word of God leaves you no choice (please take note : you have no choice) but to believe in executing women accused of witchcraft (a direct, unambiguous order from God) and anyone who curses his or her parents (likewise). You must chop women’s hands off as a form of punishment : you must “show them no pity”, God specifically warns you. If God orders you to batter a man to death with stones for collecting firewood on the sabbath day, you must obey without question, just as God’s people did in the book of Numbers. They could have chosen to disobey, but if you wish to believe that you are following God’s word, then you have no such choice.

@@BruceFox-Lefriche Considering that you claim to consult "experts," you should consult someone with more Biblical knowledge than you. Killing witches and stoning people was written specifically to the nation of Israel. Yes, there were some strict penalties for disobedience in the Torah. There were legitimate reasons for them, which I am not going to get into. I suggest you consult a Rabbi. That is their expertise.
You challenge Ken Ham's and my "expertise" in relation to the Bible and science. Getting a degree is NOT the only way to gain expertise. That is a strong argument liberals use to try to discredit people. They say a person must attend one of "their" accredited institutions to be "qualified." The way ANYONE develops any expertise is by STUDY and "THINKING!" I have a BS in engineering, so I have some expertise with science and analytical thinking. I am going to challenge the LACK of thinking by some of your so-called experts.
If you look a the deposited layers in canyons, like the Grand Canyon or the Wind River Canyon in Wyoming, "geologists" claim each layer required millions of years to develop. Yet, the boundary between each layer is almost a straight line any where you look. THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Wind, rain, and erosion change the terrain. If these layers are millions of years old, why are there no signs of erosion in ANY of the layers? "Geologists" use radiometric dating to determine the age of rocks. They commonly make claims of rocks being millions of years old. Yet, when they use radiometric dating on a flow, such as in Hawaii, that is KNOWN to be 50 years old, radiometric dating says it is millions of years old. They don't make that widely known, do they? One may say they are covering it up.
Biological matter can only survive for about 20,000 years at best. Yet, when they find biological evidence on dinosaur bones, they claim the bones are millions of years old. How does that make sense? Which "expert" is not telling the truth? There are millions of fossil records. If evolution were true, we should be able to identify millions of "transition" species. We should be able to follow the evolution of a leg into a bird wing. Where are the transistion species? There are NONE.
There are many experts in the fields you listed who believe in and scientifically document the science behind creation and the flood. There are many experts, some of them Christians, who believe in evolution, but they have NO ANSWER to the lack of erosion, differences in radiometric dating, the fossil records, or biological matter found on fossils.

@@michaelfraser4396 I shall restrict myself to a few key points. Re-reading my original comment, I see that I was unduly polite. Your reply is as condescending as it is duplicitous ; but I shall try not to be drawn into that game. Where in the Bible does it specify that “this law is for everyone, that law is only for Israelites” ? Or can we just choose for ourselves ? That's certainly very convenient. Why tell ANYONE to murder witches ? Does that make it acceptable, just so long as non-Israelites don’t join in the fun ? Which of course is precisely what happened, as Christian civilizations persecuted, tortured and executed witches up to the end of the 18th century. They were obeying the Bible ; nobody seems to have explained to them that it only applied to Israelites. But then, why did God make such a law at all ?... There is no such thing as witchcraft, so he knew that the tens of thousands of victims would all be innocent women, wrongly accused of a made-up crime. "There were legitimate reasons" you say, although I should consult a Rabbi to know what those "legitimate reasons" are. I shalln't bother. “Legitimate reasons” for atrocities committed in the name of God always disgust me for some reason.
My wording in the sentence concerning the sabbath was perfectly clear. I did not imply that there is a law imposing stoning (the Bible merely orders us to “put to death” Sabbath-defilers). My question was “if God orders you to…?”, as he did in the story of the man collecting sticks. You did not answer, and that is probably just as well.
Where in my comment do you find the word “degree” ? Where do I mention “accredited institutions” ? I don't know why, but the words "straw" and "man" flit briefly through my mind. I simply state that I prefer to consult a dentist for my toothache, rather than a used car salesman who has seen a couple of toothpaste adverts on UA-cam. Which is more-or-less what you show yourself to be with all your waffle about the deposited layers in the Grand Canyon and radiometric dating. You express your disdain for geologists by putting the word in inverted commas. Would you do the same if you required heart surgery ? Would you tell the "cardiologist" that having a degree from an accredited institution does not meet your exacting requirements of “study and thinking” as you put it ?
I at no point claim to have any scientific expertise ; which is why I do not pretend to do so, even though I like to believe that I am also capable of a little “study and thinking”. I recognize in your exposé on geology all the tired old AiG clichés about transitional fossils and radiometric dating. I am not qualified to debate questions about geology or paleontology, so I do not permit myself simply to repeat what Ken Ham and his ilk may have told me about the inadequacies of “experts with degrees from accredited institutions”. You are right that these experts (or "experts" in inverted commas as you contemptuously label them) have no answers to questions about transitional fossils, erosion and biological matter found on fossils… just so long as you continue not to ask them.

The flood story is true from the standpoint of geological studies, but not the way he told it.
The seas rose very rapidly as the huge lakes that formed from the three mile thick ice sheets broke loose and it appears that there were several occasions when the sea level took huge volumes of water in a day or two. The amazing fact is the stories were passed down by story tellers from about 11,500 to 3,000 years ago before they were transcribed. There are stories almost that old passed down from that same time period in North America and about areas that were never ice covered or of horrific volcanos in Washington State. Geologists are only now realizing the Storys are true after studying the sediments. The problem with stories from times long ago is that the way people told stories is very different and some people take it for fact regardless of the fact the story has gone through many verbal written translations from one language to another.

I will not pretend that I have not frequently expressed my somewhat disparaging views on Answers in Genesis, but I really did make an effort to watch and to listen to this present video in the hope of finding (as the title promises) something to make me re-consider, however slightly, my views on the flood story. I saw first the title “You CANNOT Deny the Biblical Flood Once You Realize THIS”. That promises some pretty weighty arguments. I then found myself confronted with an all-capitals caption “EXPLAIN THIS, ATHEISTS”. I prepared myself for an interesting challenge, and the opportunity to exchange some perceptive and well thought-out debating-points.
I do not mean to be cynical, but I quite genuinely cannot even find what it is that I am challenged to explain, or what it is that I am expected to realise.
Mr Ham begins by telling us that the Bible says there was a flood. I knew that already and I don’t believe it. It must have been a global flood. Why? The Bible says so. Sorry, but I still don’t believe it. There have been regional floods, but this was a world-wide flood. Again - why? Again, the only argument : the Bible says so. The Bible was written by people who didn’t know that Australia, Antarctica and the Americas even existed. But of course you say it's God's word, and there is no point my saying anything else. That is not a debate.
I already know there are lots of Flood myths. I already know they share a lot in common. Perhaps we can dicuss what that implies... but no. Mr Ham tells me the Bible is the original. Oh, really ? How do we know ? The Bible is the word of God. Back to square one. And all the others are the result of the Tower of Babel. Why ? Surprise, surprise. The Bible says so.
How is it possible to discuss anything if the answer is always “The Bible says so”. The fossil record proves it. No it doesn’t. It proves no such thing. Ask any competent palaeontologist and/or any competent geologist. You might find one that is willing to agree with you : but for that one, there are a thousand others who will tell you, show you, explain to you and present you with the irrefutable proof that you are wrong. They will not just say “there’s a book that says so”.
You have a belief. I know my words will not have any effect whatsoever upon that belief. You can proclaim that belief if you so wish. I am not trying to convert you, or to sell you a set of books or tickets to an amusement park. But please have at least the good grace not to use fallacious expressions such as “You cannot deny X. Y or Z once you realise this”. I can deny it. I do deny it. Your statement is therefore false.

You know, at the end of the day we can never give you enough proof if you don't want to believe it. If God Himself came down and spoke directly to you, you still would not believe if you didn't want to, you'd think you were hallucinating or something. But my friend, what happens to you after you die? You don't owe me a reply at all, but that question must ring in your ears in the quiet of your thoughts. It makes more sense to me, that someone created everything rather than nothing created everything and if that makes just a slight sliver of sense, then I implore you to seek out the Creator. I know, from my own life that when we seek Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, not from a place of pride or trying to prove something wrong, that He will show up. I'm going through a lot of pain right now, but Jesus has been giving me a peace that I wish I could hand you just a small bit of it through this message. I count among my friends people of various religious convictions (or none at all) ; they are good, kind, considerate human beings.
But I think you misjudge me when you say that “we can never give you enough proof”. My whole point was that I listened to Ken Ham on the very grounds that he had something that I needed to “realise”. This is what he announced. I did not hear it. “It’s in the Bible” may be true, but on what grounds can he affirm that the Bible is entirely “God’s word”. My Hindu and Sikh friends are just as unconvinced as I am. On the other hand, Mr Ham states categorically that the biblical flood is confirmed by the fossil record. This is simply not true. He has been presented with a veritable mountain of proof to the contrary. Fossil records are just one of those irrefutable proofs. Cosmologists, geologists, palaeontologists, biologists, bacteriologists, archaeologists, oceanographers, astronomers (many of them also good, considerate people)... ALL concur in their conclusions : the Earth is billions of years old. There is not one shred of evidence to support the story of a global flood. They put before Mr Ham enough evidence to bury Mount Everest a thousand-fold, and he still merely replies “it’s in the Bible”.
I also take Mr Ham to task for using blatently dishonest language. "You cannot deny the biblical flood" is a false statement. I can and I do deny it. And the more I hear Mr Ham, the more I know he's wrong.

The world wide cataclysmic flood lasted for a total of 371 days. It was not just 40 days and 40 nights as many naively believe and parrot. At the end of that time there were 74 days in which the waters were rapidly receding to once again expose more and more dry land. Which would have been in itself catastrophic and resulted in huge deformations, slides, large deposits and other such events associated with vast amounts of water moving rapidly. The rapid recession of all that water saw huge canyons and valleys being carved as fast or faster than we see in modern representations such as "Mount Saint Helens" and other such events we've witnessed in recent history, disproving many of the millions or billions of years time tables. There would also have been vast amounts of vulcanism as a result of the rapid movement of the tectonic plates as they spread out from a single massive land mass, "super continent", as is proposed by many even in the secular world. There's the new sea floor being created during that time as the tectonic plates shifted and moved. Then there's all the other cataclysmic events contained in that world wide flood, due to the many volcanos, the "Ring of Fire" and "Super Volcanos" being active as a result of tectonic shifts resulting in many changes one of which was that new islands were formed. All of this would have naturally resulted in an Ice Age as the conditions of warm oceans with cool summers and mild winters would have been perfect for the precipitation needed for such an event. The amount of particulate in the atmosphere from all that vulcanism would also help explain and have been a large contributing factor to the normalization of temperatures during that time. As the oceans cooled, (study cooling associated with evaporation), the winters became colder and summers hotter, (due to less particulate in the atmosphere and reflection of sunlight), resulting in less precipitation and so the Ice Age came to an end. When looking for indicators as to what the weather was like at the end of or just after the Ice Age the Book of Job is an interesting study. It is thought to have been written after the ice age during a time when the earth was still being rebalanced, for lack of a better non scientific term. Even though in our Bibles Books such as Exodus and others are ordered before it, Job and the events in the Book were actually recorded, written before them. We see things discussed such as snow, hail and ice for one of if not the first times in Scripture. Weather phenomenon that Job had seen and could understand or the LORD would not have used them. 1 Corinthians 14:33.
Again the Book of Job is an interesting glimpse into those times and is thought to be among one of the oldest Books of the Bible. Fitting in the timeline after the flood had ended but still during a time of change 500 to 700 years after that global cataclysmic event. The timing of the Book of Job also gives us insights into how long the ice age lasted as we can see things were normalizing, rearranging into four very distinct seasons. The Ice Age was the natural result of a worldwide catastrophic flood and exactly what we would expect to find after such an event. As has been shown by the many evidences we see all around us and computer models that sadly do not see the same level of enthusiasm as the more manipulated secular models do. With their overrepresentation in media, schools and secular circles to the detriment of education and the sciences. We can see their closed minds and hearts, resulting in their inability to understand. When you look at the things made without the Creator who made them how can you possibly hope to understand the things that were made. Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-5, Ephesians 3:9
As always, brother Ham, you've presented the truth of God's Word and it's up to those who hear whether they will accept it or not. That's the problem though isn't it, the willingness to accept God's Word and by extension Him or continue to lean on one's own understanding and the imaginations of men.

I'll try to answer your question. First of all, there is a tipping point beyond which humanity cannot come back as far as evil is concerned. The entire world was so corrupt before the flood that it could only yield bad seed. In Noah's time, it was very close to that tipping point. God set up a test, 120 years, Noah preached of a flood to see who would believe God and who would not believe God. Who was going to believe his message? Those who did not get on the Ark, were destroyed and the human race was given a second chance through the genes of Noah's family. We are now approaching yet another critical tipping point and just like in Noah's day, God will give the world another test to see who serves God and who serves man. The test was simple but effective. Get on the ark and live or don't get on the ark and die.

As for Ham, we're not sure what Ham did to his father while he lay drunk and naked but it was inappropriate for him to mock his father to brothers instead of being respectful and doing like his brothers did. The curse wasn't from Noah. Noah was a prophet. He was relaying God's curse to Ham, the father of Canaan. The Canaanites were known for their debauched and perverted sexual practices. Honoring your father and mother is one of the big Ten. Ham broke that commandment.

How much harder it would have been for Isreal to follow God if the flood didn't happen.

Notice, by way of comparison to the Genesis account of Noah’s flood, that lines 29 and 30 of the Gilgamesh Epic state about the Gilgamesh boat: “her dimensions all shall be equal: her length and breath (width) shall be the same”. Now line 57 tells us her height was ten rods (“ten rods the height of her sides”) and line 58 that the length of her sides was also ten rods, and if her length and breath (width) were the same, that means the ship was 10 rods long x 10 rods wide x 10 rods high (“her dimensions all shall be equal,” line 29). This vessel would not have been very stable according to modern shipbuilders. It would have looked like a square box 165 ft long by 165 ft wide by 165 ft high ( 1 rod = 16 ½ feet).
Now, compare this to the dimensions of Noah’s Ark. ”And this is how you shall make it: Genesis 6:15: “ The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.” Shipbuilders have calculated that the dimensions of Noah’s Ark-300 cubits x 50 cubits x 30 cubits = 450 feet long x 75 feet wide x 45 feet high-would give a ratio of 6:1 which, with a rectangular barge or box-like shape and a very low center of gravity, would produce an extremely stable ship-so stable in fact that when they did experiments using a scaled-down prototype of the ark in a water tank (Laboratory) producing assimilated ocean waves, they found that the ark could upright itself from a 90 degree tilt. In other words, it was a rectangular barge shape 450 feet by 75 feet by 45 feet wide with a Catwalk on top. They concluded that a ship the size of Noah’s Ark built to the biblical specifications could easily have stayed afloat in 150-foot waves, much larger than average oceanic waves today . They estimated that the extra weight of all the animals, which would have put the ship lower in the water, would have made it even more stable. The U. S. battleship Oregon was built around the turn of the century using the same ratio (6:1) in construction as that of Noah’s Ark. There are many other significant differences between the two accounts.
As for the 2014 film, Noah, directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Russell Crowe; that is nothing but a mockery of the biblical account of Noah and the Flood, which was anything but a pile of crude logs bound together that would not have been seaworthy in waves in the Atlantic (some over 75 feet), much less typical Hollywood. If you want to focus on major discrepancies , how about comparing the far more credible and believable details of the Genesis Flood of Noah with the Babylonian Gilgamesh Epic. I did this research one week at the public Library and here are some of my findings:
Noah’s Flood (Genesis 8: 7-11):Notice that the ship in the Gilgamesh Epic had 6 decks (line 60) whereas the ark in Genesis had 3 decks. Also, the flood in the Gilgamesh Epic lasted one week only (lines 127-130)-hardly sufficient to bring about a global catastrophic flood , as evidenced by the worldwide distribution of billions of fossils of all life-forms. The Genesis Flood, on the other hand, lasted 150 days (including the 40-days and 40-nights of rain) before the flood waters abated or receded. Finally, the Genesis account tells us that a dove brought a freshly plucked olive tree to Noah-tangible evidence that the flood waters had receded from the earth-whereas the Gilgamesh Epic tells us that the raven, which saw the waters receding and found food, did not return to the ship (line 156). How then did Uta-napishti know for sure that the flood waters had actually receded? He could only have assumed because the raven did not return that it saw the flood waters receding and found food, but he could not have known for certain, as did Noah, without some tangible evidence.
Some skeptics and liberal theologians would have us believe that the Jews who wrote the Bible actually borrowed myths of Babylonian origin concerning the Genesis Flood from the Gilgamesh Epic (and others) to include with their own writings. However, the big problem with this assumption, as we have observed in our comparison of the details of the Epic of Gilgamesh with the Genesis Flood, is that the latter is far more reasonable and believable than the former. The details of the Gilgamesh Epic, which merely reflects the true record of the Bible, are the ones that have become corrupted and distorted, due to the limitations of human fallibility.
Obviously stories handed down generation after generation that are not carefully preserved-particularly if they are handed down by word of mouth-do not improve with age. The truth is lost and the stories degenerate markedly. On the other hand, the biblical records have been handed down in written form (though there was a slight period of oral transmission in its early history), carefully preserved by the superintendency of God and have not been corrupted.
Assuming our ancient past was very primitive and over a long period of time, we must ask ourselves how certain details of the story of the Great Flood or Deluge (we looked at same) could have been handed down from one primitive stone-aged culture to another purely by oral tradition, for hundreds of thousands of years, to be fully incorporated into the Gilgamesh Epic of the Babylonians. That such a thing could have happened for several thousand years is remotely conceivable. That it could have happened over a hundred thousand years is quite inconceivable. “The Gilgamesh Epic alone, rightly considered, administers a fatal blow to the concept of a vast antiquity for Noah” (quote by Dr. John C. Whitcomb in The Early Earth).
Conclusion: The Epic of Gilgamesh is a distorted and corrupted reflection of divine revelation-the true record of the Genesis Flood

He searched for the person that created the the ‘Ark’ He was called Utnapishtim, in one era, and Ziusudra in another Atra Hasis in yet another all going back long before anyone thought to write the Bible. Wrong. The true record of the Genesis Flood--given by inspiration of God to Moses, the author of the first five books of the Bible, including Genesis, from the time of creation to the world-wide flood of Noah--is supported not only by God’s providence in preserving His inspired, infallible Word over the centuries until it was finally compiled, edited, and written down by Moses, as evidenced by the accuracy and credibility of its details, but also by the One-Source Theory that leads back to the historical event of the Flood and Noah’s Ark, by the fact that the Hebrews were well known for handing down their records and tradition, and also the fact that the Book of Genesis is viewed for the most part as an historical work, even by many liberal scholars, while the Epic of Gilgamesh is viewed as mythological. On the other hand, it is quite inconceivable that the details of the Epic of Gilgamesh, as well as those of this subsequent Babylonian tablet, could be handed down for hundreds of thousands of years (Gilgamesh cuneiform tablets date as far back as 4,000 years), to be fully incorporated in the Gilgamesh Epic of the Babylonians or even later Babylonian clay tablet without being corrupted.
It makes more sense that Genesis is actually older--that it was the original and the pagan myths arose as distortions of that original account. While Moses lived long after the event, he probably acted as the editor of far older sources. For example, Genesis 10:19 gives matter-of-fact directions, ‘as you go toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim’. These were the cities of the plain God destroyed for their extreme wickedness 500 years before Moses. Yet Genesis gives directions at a time when they were well-known landmarks, not buried under the Dead Sea.

The Chinese character (symbol) for a large ship is a combination of a figure 8 and the symbols for “mouths” or “persons” (recall Noah +Shem + Japheth + their wives = 8 “persons” aboard the Ark ). The Hottentots of South Africa believed they are descended from “Noh” , and the Hawaiians report a flood which only “Nu-u and his family were saved. Liberals often claim that the Gilgamesh epic was embellished from a severe river flood, i.e. a local flood. This might work if there were similar flood legends only around the ancient near east. But there are thousands of such flood legends all around the world. Even the Australian Aborigines have legends of a massive flood, as do people living in the deep jungles near the Amazon River in South America. Dr Alexandra Aikhenvald, a world expert on the languages of that region, said: ‘… without their language and its structure, people are rootless. In recording it you are also getting down the stories and folklore. If those are lost a huge part of a people’s history goes. These stories often have a common root that speaks of a real event, not just a myth. For example, every Amazonian society ever studied has a legend about a great flood".

Thank-you Ken, for adding your voice to the thousands of scientists, archaeologists, and geologists who have been forced to admit the facts and truths about fossils, the sedimentary layers indicative of a powerful flood moving huge amounts of mud and rock and burying many different species of animals in the same layer! Sea animals, fish, and land animals all on the same grave! Only a powerful flood beyond local proportions could explain this.
But by the way, there was a documentary put out in about 1976 that showed videographic and real "gopher wood" hand hewn planks (from the Querkas Oak tree species prevelant in the area; don't know if I'm spelling that right, sorry!) recovered from many expeditions to the Ararat mountains from the 40's thru the late 60's when the Turkish government permitted expeditions to the mountains. NASA and satellite imagery has captured the Ark on multiple occasions, and Air Force pilots from Britain photographed and recorded their seeing the prow of a large ship protruding out from a crevice at high elevation. It was found that during the Armenian earthquake in the late 1800's I think it was; that the Ark broke into 2 pieces and was covered in ice at the high section; and at the lower elevation, it can be seen in the summer months.
Numerous eyewitness accounts exist detailing the expeditions to Mt. Ararat, and describing the physical measurements and shape of the boat; exactly mirroring the Bible's description of how God wanted Noah to construct the vessel! Unfortunately, these expeditions have been swept under the rug of science in order to perpetuate atheism and the evolution paradigm. Also, the Russian government stepped in in the 80's and stopped allowing all expeditions to the mountain areas. so there's political opposition to those who want to climb the mountain areas; preventing current testimony and evidence from being collected.

Any geologist can certify that the geological record with its strata cannot be interpreted as the result of one flood. This is just bending the evidence to a preconceived idea.
Note also that for example the layers with dinosaurs in them (the Jurassic and Chalk formations) give way to strata no longer containing these animals. Please do not tell us that the heavy dinosaurs were sinking to lower strata of deluvial mud. The same layering applies to small juvenile dinosaurs and eggs.
Also, rain comes from the sea and earth's surface and is not ultimately a source of rising sea levels. It's a cycle.

“Biblically incorrect” is a hilarious category. Have you recently read Genesis 1? They are actually putting the creation of plants before the creation of the sun! In addition, bats and whales were created on Thursday, but other mammals on Friday. Also, the sun and the stars are just “lights” in the sky meant to illuminate the Earth. It’s unfair to point out the nonsense as the authors had no way of knowing at the time, but it’s strange to see this as relevant now.

@@erikt1713 As I said earlier, only a regenerate heart will believe the Bible and the life-giving message within it, however, I think it requires far more faith to believe in the religion of evolution. Even as an unregenerate, I could never believe that the Earth and all that we see and experience happened by chance and that there isn’t any purpose to any of it and that it is all random. Take for example the human eye, or even one single cell and consider how complex are the functions of these. Man cannot make anything that even comes close to an eye, heart, lung, brain, etc. There is so much beauty to behold on this planet, and yet, there are many scars and evidence of a catastrophic event. Maybe, just maybe, this world WAS CREATED by a being far more intelligent/advanced than the inhabitants HE put here who HE claims are made in HIS image. As a human, I can make many things like a soup and I can even grow many of my ingredients, but I can’t make a seed. It was already here. Humans can build a house or a camera or a computer but no human can build a tree or an eye or a brain, all of which are far more complex than the aforementioned things. Humans always try to copy what they see in nature that already exists. Humans are really smart and have made some amazing things, but never has a human made anything as complex as whatever or ,in my opinion, Whoever made nature. A Creator who made us and loves us and has an eternal purpose for us makes far more sense to me and is far more logical to me than randomness and explosions causing the Earth and everything else to form. Only the creationists viewpoint satisfies the question of origins for me. To create is to make something from nothing. God brought the raw materials into existence. Now, can I explain God? No, I cannot. He simply was, is, and always will be and therefore deserves our respect and our worship. He is also loving and wants a relationship with those He created. This Earth is cursed at the moment and under judgement due to sin, but one day will be made new. This God who made us also became a man himself and dwelt among us and lived a sinless life and died and rose from the dead showing us His power over death. If we believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God and confess with our mouths that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. We will live in a new heaven and a new earth. We will obtain new bodies that aren’t affected by disease or death. This is good news! I hope you will believe it.

The timing of the Flood is the problem. In 2350 BC the Giza pyramids were already standing for 200 years. The evidence through Egypt for a flood at the turn of the 5th and 6th Dynasties is there for objective researchers everywhere. There is also a vessel from before the Flood, which was buried near the Great Pyramid (one of two in fact). It was built BEFORE Noah’s Ark as a funerary boat for Pharaoh Khufu. It is on display today. Simply put, the ‘world’ of Noah and the patriarchs who lived at that time was limited. They described the local scene. The flood is now known from the scientific evidence to have been global flooding, but did not cover the entire earth to depth. It was massive flooding, but in a way we would understand it, with typhoons in Asia and tornadoes in the West.

The amount of earth required to soak up a 2-km high column of water, simply doesn't exist.
BTW "Hollow Earth" is not a viable theory. There is no place at all where significant underground voids could hide from seismometric measurements.

Your questions have been answered so many times. Apparently, you are one of those types who needs to be spoon fed. Pay attention. No where in any work of literature is it stated that ALL the animals were brought on board the ark. ALL the animals of the world were not on the ark. Only a pair of representative kinds that could not have survived the year-long flood were brought onto the ark. According to some very smart people who have looked into the numbers, only several thousand animals at most were on the ark. This number of animals could certainly have been adequately cared for by eight healthy adults. You are incorrectly assuming that diets then were identical to what they are today. According to the biblical text, people and animals lived entirely on a pant based diet at the time. Yes, even lions can live just fine for a long time on a plant based diet. There is at least one modern day example of this. You are wrongly assuming that some animals "required" special diets. Obviously they didn't since all the animals on the ark survived. Obviously, the dietary changes that have taken place in the post-flood animal kingdom has come about by a gradual instinctual adaptation to available food sources as animals migrated from the ark and finally settled into their specific environments. According to the biblical text, animal meat was added to the menu options after the flood ended. There is not a single word mentioned about how Noah and his family handled matters onboard the ark. We can only speculate. What they did obviously worked, since all the animals that boarded the ark, disembarked from the ark alive and well. It would certainly be fascinating to know the details about what happened on board the ark after the door of the ark was shut, but we don't. Obviously then, we can only conclude that these details of the flood event are not necessary to get across the point of recording it in the first pace. You are missing the big picture by getting hung up on details that are not important. The biblical flood is recorded to let readers know with profound clarity, our Creator's attitude toward the wicked. We learn that our Creator will pour His divine wrath out upon everyone who has corrupted his perfect creation by choosing the side of wickedness. This applies to everyone. This applies to you. You are just as wicked as those whose lives our Creator ended 4650 during the global flood. Just like all those souls, you too deserve the wrath of our Creator to fall upon you. But, our Creator is giving us/you time to believe Him, just like He gave the people that died during the biblical flood. Our Creator wanted to save them but they refused His offer. All they had to do was believe Him to be saved. Only eight people were smart enough to do so. All we have to do is believe our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ and we will be saved from His divine wrath being poured out against the wicked, as well. It will not be a global flood next time though. It will be more personal for us. You will meet the Lord Jesus Christ one day face-to-face and if you have not believed the Lord Jesus Christ before that time, He will throw you into a Lake of Fire where you will be left alone to suffer unimaginable torment forevermore. This action is not because the Lord Jesus Christ is cruel or vengeful, but only because He is absolutely just and you are absolutely guilty of corrupting His creation by choosing the side of wickedness and you absolutely deserve the punishment you are going to experience. So, instead of concerning yourself with how Noah removed animal manure from the ark, open the Bible and concern yourself with figuring out what the Lord Jesus Christ, wants you to know about Him and your need to be saved from the penalty of your sins before it is too late.

It’s not 2 of every single animal on the earth. It’s 2 of each kind, that’s a big difference. Meaning you don’t take two of every type of dog. You would take 2 of the original dog kind that all of the dogs we have today came from. When they do the analysis it becomes very doable.

It’s a competitive game, so you have to have an edge.

The only evidence (and I use that term extremely lightly) that he offers is stories from the Bible. The Bible is not evidence. It is only part of the claim.

“The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents, written by eyewitnesses, during the lifetime of other witnesses, and they report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.” Also foolishness to those who are perishing. I pray the Lord removes the veil and causes you to trust in Him. ❤

@@davidskolik5303 that’s where faith comes in. PS what’s the alternative? Do you believe everything you see-the birds of the blue sky, the sun, the moon, dogs, cats, the intricacies of the human eye were all created from nothing which is a scientific impossibility? 🤔 just something to consider. I can sort of understand a deist. Someone who believes in a higher power. Sparked the inflation of the universe, and let nature take its course. But an intervening god makes absolutely no sense to me.
