evan u forget he called Mark not only to protect his new son but to ALSO train mark and recover his relationship with him becuz he acknowledges how fucked up he was
Man, I appreciate how y’all are viewing the situation from Omni mans view too! Most people only think through the perspective of mark and Debbie, but dude, that was what he was RAISED TO DO. Most people don’t fully understand Omni man because of what he did, they only see things like Omni man calling his wife a pet. It wasn’t an insult towards her, it was just the best way to describe their relationship. Debbie won’t live nearly as long as Omni man, but he still loves her very much. But like someone who loves their pet, he knows someday he will have to move on.
.....He bring a child for Mark and Debbie to take care of. I'm pretty sure that if the roles were reversed yall would say Omniman belong to the streets
He was waiting for Mark's powers to develop first. He intended for them to manifest earlier in his chilhood, but remember in season 1, Omni Man literally admitted that Mark was a late bloomer. So obviously while waiting for Mark to become full Viltrumite to help him weaken Earth, he became unintentionally attached to humans due to the time lapse.🤷♀ Remember in season 1, that's exactly why Omni-Man wasn't too keen or react happily to the news of Mark's powers manifesting. Man was like shit😂 The moment he was avoiding finally arrived and it was time💀And he knew if that he delayed any longer, the Vil gang would destroy earth ANYWAYS. Indoctrination is REAL. Unlearning behaviour is not easy especially when you're raised in a completely RACIST and effed up society. I actually kinda respect him now for breakig free from that sick mindset. He still going to hell tho lol. If somebody wanna be so so mad, be mad at the other versions of Omni-Man who *actually* conqured earth sucessfully. We should enjoy witnessing this weird (but grey) badass character growth. It's good TV and good writing tbf.💀
Man setup another family lol. I'm actually really surprised how long it's taken for this kind of family drama to make it into animated superhero stories.
So I get why Evan is mad at Omni Man but you gotta put yourself in his shoes. First off though, the Author did a fantastic job of making us feel the same way Nolan felt whenever he learned how long humans survive. How we feel about the flaxans lifespan mirrors how Nolan felt about human lifespans. They seemed so insignificant in terms of longevity that it’s almost like they are a pet like a dog, and I don’t even think he was trying to be disrespectful to Mark or Debie I just don’t think Viltrumites are great with their words. Like logically that makes sense but you would never refer to your wife as an animal. Another thing is that you have to remember that Nolan is most likely way over a thousand years old and all he knows is to weaken, conquer, and repeat. I’d assume that no other experience he’s had opened his mind to the possibility of protecting the weak, like viltrumites literally only think one way and that’s through violence. The important thing is that after the incident happened, you guys saw that he did feel bad and he was contemplating life. It’s almost like Vegeta in dragon ball or Zuko in Avatar. Neither of them are evil to the core it’s just that that’s all they’ve ever known.
FYI for those who are interestted for Nolan and Debies scenes early in the episode. I didn't realize this as I was watching it but after the fact this was pointed out to me. Nolan and Debbies scenes almost completely mirror each other. Nolan drifting through space, Debbie strolling through the city. Both empty , devoid of purpose. Then where Omni-man looks out to the black hole, and Debbie looks out to the streets bellow the bridge, both thinking the same thing. The difference being, if the Thraxans weren't there to need saving, Nolan had decided to commit to taking his life. Whereas Debbie decided to continue living. Through all they'd been through, through everything. Across multiple stars and galaxies, the pair was in the same mental state. However in the moment it showed Debbies strength , where Debbie is emotional strong where Nolan is not. It also shows a very scary reality for Mark. There is a possible reality where things happen slightly differently and they both commit to their suicidal thoughts and while Marks away at College, both of his parents die.
Bro yall need to understand where Nolan is coming from plus they are going for mark no matter what belut he has to get with his son, to let him know about EVERYTHING LIKE BRU THEY ARE GOING TO EARTH NO MATTER WHATTTTTTTT
I cant believe I didnt realize. 1 year is already short for humans. But Viltrumites like thousands of years. No wonder he didnt think it was a big deal.
The only part of this episode I didn't understand was the Mauler twins. In season they even warned Robot that it's important to not know who the original is, yet here the original seemed happy to be "superior" until he was killed.
Literally 🤦. The show does a really good job of "show don't tell" and the maulers is a perfect example like you said. They NEED to not know which is the clone or this will always happen @@aaronlainez6191
I also think part of Nolan starting another family is his regret with what happened ok earth. He's trying to right his wrongs by treating this family better. It is still very short sided of him considering he knows he's a wanted man
btw they had heard he had a son on earth, thats why the first viltrumite that fought mark was surprised to see that it was true. so, they probably would have gone to earth immediately afterwards to extinguish a inferior viltrumite and mark would stand no chance against them.
The truth is that it makes me a little sad that he can't notice things. He is trying to see Nolan as a human father or maybe he is projecting. 6:18 It seems that he does not understand the situation. 20:43 dude use your logic It is no longer about saving the planet because after they take nolan they will leave the planet. It is about help MARK. but they don't understand. Nolan is a hero right now, literally, in billions of years, a Viltrumite would never have spared the life of a weak son like Mark. He left the earth like this saving them momentarily because I remember If Nolan doesn't take the planet another Viltrumite will. Once they execute Nolan for choosing Earth and his son, they will go after his son, which is why Nolan gave Mark a brother so that when he is no longer here, they will watch each other's backs. Because when the time comes for Mark to fight against the empire, no human on earth will even be able to help him.
even if omni man didn't ask mark to come there, viltrumite will still come to earth and mark not knowing would get them buttfuck by the vitrumites i think its better mark knows it earlier.
That's a different comparison, that ship omini stopped was more stubby and plus it's in space so no resistance. The plane on the other hand is harder to stop cause of physics. But yea omni man clears homelander by a mile 😂
Crazy the difference between an almoghty being like omniman feels sad and how a regular human does. He flies millions of miles and sits on a moon looking at a sun...we drive a few times around the block sot in the car look at the moon lol
10:35 As much as people want to hate Nolan for what he did, that's okay to a point, but it's not okay to focus on just one bad day when everything fell apart. Debbie is not alone responsible for the person Mark has become, Nolan may not have always been home but he was a hero and he didn't hide that from his son, and Mark grew up wanting to be like his father, that he would get his powers and be a hero, his mother was a part of his development but Nolan had a big role in his life as well, but now it's easy to ignore all that, and that only Debbie is important (this is probably his way in this scene saying things to comfort Debbie while she's in this state). Who would have thought that 20 years of living on earth has such an effect on a conqueror of worlds, who has already lived and conquered for thousands of years without mercy, and people still think that Nolan was faking his feelings the whole time. Nolan did love his wife and son on earth, which is the reason why he didn't kill them, people forget that Nolan is thousands of years old, and that 20 years is not a big deal for him, but after he got married and had a son, he came to love the world because of them, and probably hoped Mark wouldn't take on his genes and powers, so he would probably wait until their lives were up before returning to his mission.
Why is the editor putting on full screen and covering your faces? It defeats the purpose of the reaction if you just temporarily remove the camera off your faces.
They did know about mark so the Viltrumites where going to come to earth no matter what Earth would be in deep doo doo no matter what happened but because of this event mark is somewhat more aware of the danger earth is in and how he stacks against other Viltrumites. So overall I would call this event a positive.
With the reference to Itachi at the start I think its worth mentioning saying Nolan had no remorse isn't exactly true. He was just deluding himself to believe he didn't care. Throughout season 1 you can see even prior to the death of the guardians of the globe he is dreading what hes going to have to do, and after the fact you can see not just physical exhaustion but mental exhaustion at having to kill many of whom he considered friends. Save for immortal which its pretty likely he was being honest when the feeling was mutual. But we see his internal conflict consistently in omni man anywhere between mark starting to get his powers and where it all bursts to the surface with the "you dad, I'd still have you"
Yea he was dreading having to face the music. Having to rehearse talking to mark, struggling for control when ultimately he could wipe everything away anyways, and only mark would be able to be in his way, and even then...
First ep if this season was how things were supposed to go once Mark got his powers. Mark was supposed to join Omni man in his mission to take over earth
I hope bro on the far left get through what he going through 🙏🏽 cuz he usually full of life and energy in these reactions but he looks genuinely bothered or annoyed by something
Crazy peoppe blame nolan for bringing Mark to Thraxa. Bro tue viltrumites were looking for Mark either way, either he would have faced 3 VILTRUMITE soldiers ALONE on Earth. Or he would face them together with his father. If he would have faced them alone on Earth he would have DIED.
22:42 Sad Naruto vs Sasuke final fight sounds. Heck, the fight would've been more one sided if Naruto had no qualms about disabling Sasuke, instead of just beating him to submission.
Finally got in this show yesterday 🤣 Literally benched watch the who season 1 & latest episode of season 2 .🔥 This show literally reminds me of dragon ball if it was a R rated show & Goku & Vegeta never changed due to humanity/humans , in stay true to the Saiyan extremist warrior philosophy side ..
did he hold his breath for that long, Mark while fighting allen had to hold his breath, and while flying to mars he had to wear a helmet to survive the journey, but Omni man just floats through space. is he possible able to breath in space because he is a pure blood viltrimite
I hate how Mark has been holding back this entire time 😭 like I KNEW HE WAS JUST AS STRONG AS THEM - also mark really reminds me of Yuji, their weaknesses are saving people for better or for worse
I get why evan is angry but think about it, even if nolan didn’t call for mark the viltrumites would’ve headed for earth next most likely anyway given the conversation between allen and the three viltrumites. mark would be in a worse situation without nolan calling for him.
I really hate that the studio cut so many dialogues and explanations, which would make the whole situation more understandable towards Nolan and the bug aliens,,,, Also people should remember that Omniman is an alien, shouldn'tt judge him based on 100x100 human perspective and logic. The fact that Debbie changed him in 20 years when Nolan is thousands of years old at this point is proof that he loves her and Mark, but as always people tend to compare the characters to our reality, even when Nolan said of Debbie being a pet, it was not in the sense as such, but a reference to their life span times comparison, just imagine living for thousands of years with certain beliefs and culture and for just 20 years u force yourself to change your entire perspective, it dsnt happen at once, it is impossible

@@7daimeHokage Nope lol, Mind u i havent read the comics and idk i got the impression he might be gone for the rest of the season and invincible continues fighting on earth or sum idk but im glad with how things went.
@@sully408as someone who's read the comics twice and is now watching the show, I heavily recommend you don't read them. They're not bad, quite good actually, but part of the magic you described is not knowing where the story will go and so far the show has been on par with the comic story beats so that magic will be lost if you do read them. At least try not to read the comics for now as this season finale and the next one are fan favourite moments. Keep enjoying the show! It's so great to know how good it's doing.
@@actual_mel I know, and I'm not a fan of comics and I'vd never read one but this one tempts me man, I salute the man who wrote this comic. 😭
Mark's mom got that good joog, made a killer alien abandon his mission
evan u forget he called Mark not only to protect his new son but to ALSO train mark and recover his relationship with him becuz he acknowledges how fucked up he was
Yup. The Viltrumites aren't gonna give up on conquering earth so Mark needs to train either way.
Funny enough, the guy y’all compared to zod, is actually voiced by the same guy who voiced Lex Luthor in all of the animated series from the 2000s
Why is that funny though?
@@intothefrayyoCause it's also Mr Krabs' voice
So obviously while waiting for Mark to become full Viltrumite to help him weaken Earth, he became unintentionally attached to humans due to the time lapse.🤷♀
Remember in season 1, that's exactly why Omni-Man wasn't too keen or react happily to the news of Mark's powers manifesting.
Fun fact: The voice actor for Lucan is the voice actor for Geras in MK1
What about Kotal Kahn?
Man setup another family lol. I'm actually really surprised how long it's taken for this kind of family drama to make it into animated superhero stories.
Omni Man imo is the best representation of the Anti Superman trope.
Omni man isn't evil Superman but something like "good general Zod"

Homelander's pretty gud too ngl
I think Omni man was flying through space looking for a black hole because that’s legitimately the only way he could kill himself
I mean he could've let the viltrumites kill him too. but I guess black holes would be the environmental/natural method.
Repeatedly slamming through planets probably could do it but he'd probably destroy one in the process and still be alive
throwing himself in the sun could’ve killed him too
Mr krabs voices the general 😭 and he was just in gen v😭 Amazon givin him that BAG‼️
4:46 "Yeah this dad is buggin."
No appreciation for Jerry for the pun?
Nah fr 😭😭😭😭😭
Ngl this series deserves the attention it got and still getting, shit is fuckin good and like the comics
Nolan is over 2000 years old and been indoctrinated to believe in the Vulturme empire
This episode was so dope
“Don’t think Mark, Act mark Act”
I cant believe I didnt realize. 1 year is already short for humans. But Viltrumites like thousands of years. No wonder he didnt think it was a big deal.
The only part of this episode I didn't understand was the Mauler twins. In season they even warned Robot that it's important to not know who the original is, yet here the original seemed happy to be "superior" until he was killed.
Because of how abusive he was to the other & the relationship dynamics changing
Bruh...what you saw happen is precisely the reason they shouldn't know who is the original lol.
I remember someone saying that the mauler twins thing happened way earlier in the comics compared to the show, but I don’t know if that’s true or not
@Monkeylighthouse It's been awhile since I read the first couple issues honestly lol. It probably does lol
It is still very short sided of him considering he knows he's a wanted man
No one noticed the “his dad is bugging” 😂
Knowing all the shit Mark went through, it’s about time he got a W, and against a Pure Viltrumite no less.
"Read my books..." Don't forget he said that...
Viltrumite’s just built different no hesitation they go straight for the kill.
bro on the left NEVER TALKS LOL
btw they had heard he had a son on earth, thats why the first viltrumite that fought mark was surprised to see that it was true. so, they probably would have gone to earth immediately afterwards to extinguish a inferior viltrumite and mark would stand no chance against them.
when viltramites mate with similar species they are almost full blooded as mentioned by omniman himself. so mark isnt inferior.
Homelander said it was impossible to hold a plane in the sky while flying. So you know who stronger 😅
Homelander is just Wish Superman.
That's a different comparison, that ship omini stopped was more stubby and plus it's in space so no resistance. The plane on the other hand is harder to stop cause of physics. But yea omni man clears homelander by a mile 😂
Yo.
Dumbest take ever.
Its in space....
Evil mark definitely embarrassed her in every timeline 😂😂
They knew about Mark on last episode in the colision of planets because theres a spy there.

Crazy the difference between an almoghty being like omniman feels sad and how a regular human does. He flies millions of miles and sits on a moon looking at a sun...we drive a few times around the block sot in the car look at the moon lol
Those bugs are caked up tho
upset that nobody seemed to appreciate the bugging pun at 4:50 lmao
Man said turn her into Katana 14:20 looooool
Nolan is the definition of hatred must be taught….
Mark is the definition of love is easy to learn……
💙💛❤️🤍
Aye omni man stood on bidness, unfortunately mark did not so Omni man can’t stand on anything now 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omni man will heal
Why is the editor putting on full screen and covering your faces? It defeats the purpose of the reaction if you just temporarily remove the camera off your faces.
Its to avoid copy right
@@yaminaqeeli5766 no I'm talking about the camera focusing only on the show screen and not on the reactionist's camera.
Exactly the editing is so weird
They did know about mark so the Viltrumites where going to come to earth no matter what Earth would be in deep doo doo no matter what happened but because of this event mark is somewhat more aware of the danger earth is in and how he stacks against other Viltrumites. So overall I would call this event a positive.
Sad we finally get a good fight and now they go on a mid season break for us to "process" the big shock.
At least it was really well animated, and the gap isn't too far away. Cough JoJo's cough attack on titan cough
Now they gotta save Omniman from Marineford
With the reference to Itachi at the start I think its worth mentioning saying Nolan had no remorse isn't exactly true. He was just deluding himself to believe he didn't care.
Throughout season 1 you can see even prior to the death of the guardians of the globe he is dreading what hes going to have to do, and after the fact you can see not just physical exhaustion but mental exhaustion at having to kill many of whom he considered friends. Save for immortal which its pretty likely he was being honest when the feeling was mutual.
But we see his internal conflict consistently in omni man anywhere between mark starting to get his powers and where it all bursts to the surface with the
"you dad, I'd still have you"
Yea he was dreading having to face the music. Having to rehearse talking to mark, struggling for control when ultimately he could wipe everything away anyways, and only mark would be able to be in his way, and even then...
First ep if this season was how things were supposed to go once Mark got his powers. Mark was supposed to join Omni man in his mission to take over earth
Viltrumite. Why do y’all keep saying Vultrumite?

Yeah yall are right the very next stop would have been earth after thraxxa. Mark would have had to deal with them basically alone if that happened.
Crazy peoppe blame nolan for bringing Mark to Thraxa. Bro tue viltrumites were looking for Mark either way, either he would have faced 3 VILTRUMITE soldiers ALONE on Earth. Or he would face them together with his father. If he would have faced them alone on Earth he would have DIED.

what a nightmare that would be lmao
Damn this was the episode for Evan to do his "Fuck you ,dad!!!" line but he didn't ☹
Nolan is just Vegeta
did he hold his breath for that long, Mark while fighting allen had to hold his breath, and while flying to mars he had to wear a helmet to survive the journey, but Omni man just floats through space. is he possible able to breath in space because he is a pure blood viltrimite
the other viltrumites are never shown needing helmets to fly in space in 140+ issues of the comic, even mark doesnt later on

@@thelonercoder5816 yea he will and he will also teach mark a valuable lesson as well
14:21 Mileena bro lool
I get why evan is angry but think about it, even if nolan didn’t call for mark the viltrumites would’ve headed for earth next most likely anyway given the conversation between allen and the three viltrumites. mark would be in a worse situation without nolan calling for him.
Yea at least mark has an idea what a viltrumite is, and how to fight one even half decently
