I joined your CH 5 months ago and just consistently did my workouts 4 times a week, dialed in my nutrition, I.e. weighing food and counting calories. In the beginning I got quite a bit of slack that I'm overdoing it etc but ignored the back chat and kept going. I wasn't trying to convince my partner to join me or do the same thing as me. I just did me and, unsurprisingly, my body has changed a lot and slowly seeing my transformation, my partner caught on that whatever I'm doing is working. So he got himself a program and started being more consistent with his workouts, being more mindful of his food choices and he too is seeing a lot of progress. In the past, I would have probably tried to convince people but I have learned that the motivation must come from within themselves to want to change ❤ thanks, E! Love you, keep up the great work!
Dave Ramsey always says in order to get people on board with the process is to just talk about what you're doing and how you're winning. Lead by example. When they see success is possible they're more likely to follow.
The king has spoken 🙌
Really important message delivered well. Thank you.
Thank you for watching & so glad it resonated ❤
Thanks Eric, always a wealth of knowledge
Hey Eric: Really enjoying your videos! Bravo for including behavior change science in this process. You are absolutely correct❣️
Eric, I love your content and keep up the great work. Thank you. I am learning so much from your channel. I totally agree on what you should do and what you absolutely should avoid when trying to get your friend or loved one to change . In my life, I made a big change by losing weight within 4-5 months, dropped from 160 down to 120, and those around me supported me and helped me through my successful journey. But, from watching your other videos about the number on the scale, I realized that part of the weight I possibly lost was also muscle and not just fat. So, I was wondering and hoping to ask you, what can I do to regain the muscle I lost following a calorie deficit? What are your tips/advice if you never done strength training before and how to start? And, how long would it take to gain the muscle back? Any advice would be helpful.
Eric, I think this is a wonderful video and a great message. ❤
Great advice!!! what you said can be use in other accepts of life too! set the example. they will follow when they are ready and look up to you!
Depends so people are happy like that ,my husband 15 years marriage and I have my fit fit years and ok years and he don't joined on the party 😆 I just don't tell him anything anymore but I kind of lonely journey
I'm not going to babysit noone ,it's hard to keep myself motivated sometimes so yup
Question: when tracking calories with an app and it adds “bonus calories” I’m never sure whether to just stick to my original calorie goal or up the calories I eat. I’ve been ignoring the bonus ones but should I?
LOVE LOVE LOVE your content!!!
What protein powder would you recommend?
Ok I just saw your video on fixing skinny fat that you made a while back. I'm 5,9 and weight 189 lbs. I have some muscle and a lot of belly fat. I don't like weighing 189 lbs but at the same time I know id I cut I'll lose pretty much all my muscle. So what would you recommend for me?
