This is my dream town. Quiet with gorgeous views, great mountains, and fairly small. Considering visiting Fairplay within the next few years, been looking around online about it
You will regret moving there unless you’re a hermit who likes wind, 8 month winters, very limited options on places to eat & shop. Oh wait.. check out the lack of law enforcement at night in the county due to NO COPS being on duty. Still your dream town????
@@troutbumgypsy9169 I actually have a couple friends that live there that differ with your opinion. They enjoy being hermits and breaking the law I guess! :)
I took a day trip to Fairplay earlier this month. There's not much to do, very few restaurants, and getting around over to the Front Range is a 2 hour drive. It's nice to visit, but without community, it would be hard for one person to enjoy the fullness of life there, I would think.
South Park name is the name of South Parc high mountain valley. Named by French voyageurs, who likewise named North Parc (look up Walden, Colorado), and Middle Parc (look up Fraser, Colorado). Detailed Colorado maps sometimes still use these names.
Nicely done. Felt as you were actually walking in that time period. Actual town is neat. Pottery shop would be interesting to snoop in. Enjoyed this video. 😊
What's also weird is that South Park City made an appearance on an educational show known as Fetch With Ruff Ruffman. (Just hope the Fetchers didn't find Kenny's many dead bodies.)
Where is Tegridy Farms? 🤔
Haha didn’t see it 😂😂
They do sell Tegridy Farm Clothes in one of their gift shops
Where’s the characters
I went to daddy Danks today lol

Such a great show! Pretty cool place to visit too! Hope you are able to stop by!
Such a lovely place. I assume that some residents of this town sometimes notice each other's behavior of the cartoon characters)
😂😂
I'd laugh if you walk into the South Park Pottery and the clerk says Hidey ho.
I’m sure it’s happened a lot! 😂😂😂
All I heard you say is pikes peak.
Pikes peak famous hill climb back in the 1920’s
Yes very famous! Beautiful area!
2:40 I ACTUALLY REMEMBER GOING THERE 😭🙏

This is a good opportunity for liminal space photography
did the cartoon characters from South Park go to fairplay ?
I think Fairplay has been mentioned in the cartoon, but as a neighboring town or something.
@@TravelwithaWiseguyyeah, they're vague with the town's actual location. Fairplay and Conifer are mentioned in the show
@@AB-sw4kbalso Evergreen, it's where the homeless came from.
