@@OathOfRevenge i think he's talking about season 3 where lei will prob get an extension to drunken 3 which might combo with the hellsweep. Just like how it already does, with or without a floorbreak.
This Ahsan Ali guy is better than Arslan, with what I've seen. I watched tons of their matches and Arslan only gets sets on him every now and again, and throws out Akuma, Geese and Kazumi while Ahsan just uses Lei the entire time. This is impressive, because even when playing the same character for so many sets, Arslan can never download Ahsan's timing or patterns. As far as the Pakistanis are concerned, it's a bittersweet situation to me. On one hand, you've got the Pakistanis who are obviously huge fans and supporters of Tekken and also incredibly good, tentatively having the greatest skill level of all the communities known so far. It's great to have them finally be recognized. Now, they can enjoy even more happiness with Tekken. I imagine that their country will become a spot for Evo or TWT very soon. On the other hand, I'm very disappointed. Arslan Ash is one of the best in Pakistan, I'm sure, but not THE best. Many players are around his level or greater, meaning if all of them enter something like Evo, then surely the Top 8 will all be Pakistanis. Arslan and the Pakistanis dominating the established Tekken scene tells me that the players we've always thought were the best have actually been 2nd rate the entire time. In an even competition, no side should be dominated. If one side is dominated, then the side that was dominated simply didn't train hard enough to pose a challenge. It's up to the player to be competitive. The established hierarchy aren't competitive enough and that's their fault. However, I do think everyone can catch up. Now that Arslan is here, the bar has been raised. Levels of play never seen before has now been seen, so it can be adapted to. It's how the US scene has been able to catch up when before they were vastly outclassed by the Koreans. Pakistan has been boon unto themselves and unto Tekken. Their performance brings more light to Pakistan as well as more hype to Tekken in general!
Bro What If ArsalanAsh Never Go To Play Out Of Pakistan .No One Never Gonna Know About Pakistan Takken Community . Support Pakistan Takken Community Every Player Has His Own Style Of Playing And Skills Both Play Very Well .
@@zeebi63 Of course, that was the sweet part of all of this. I'm happy that Arslan got to play, that way he can reveal Pakistan's status as huge fans of Tekken, as well as incredibly strong players of Tekken. I'm happy Arslan was able to reveal to everyone his skill and the Tekken culture of Pakistan. What I'm also saying is that Arslan revealed that the Tekken players that have enjoyed the spotlight for all this time aren't as good as we thought they were. That's not necessarily Arslan's fault. Arslan exposed them, and now they have to catch up. Arslan and Pakistan are GREAT for Tekken! Don't ever think otherwise!
ali asif yes someone who understand the art of lei wulong I'm an artist myself I mean sort of but anyway I think most lei player's are creative people bc all my friends who play lei has some creativity personality in them so I think Lei wulong is for creative people like us? lol
Even if Lei has potential at first, but once everyone breaks down his gaps of his movelist, hardcore Lei players would forced to shut down his entire move list to the point where they will be playing street fighter but in the worst bare bone version that ever exsist. So therefore he does need more effective tools that cover range 1 and range 2 options
Lot's of compulsure by this Lei player by just giving up his stance after a razor rush/jab punish. I think in high tier, his real mixup is is Lei going to attack? Or is he going to block?
I am from South America region and just faced 3 different Lei players today in ranked (deal with all that cheese with Kazuya was a pain in the ass), so he is quite popular in some places apparently.
Arslan ash is one of the best in Pakistan, world has yet to see great gamers in Pakistan and it's the best time to show the world, what skills we have...
I love Lei Wulong, but I'm not gonna lie, I never had trouble playing as Lei, in fact, back in the day, he used to be my second best character, before I started learning the tougher characters like the Mishimas, Lee and Bryan, I also 100% agree with Mainman when he says Lei has potential, crazy potential in fact, this is the best Lei has been since fucking Tekken Tag 1.
Wow that Lei player was pretty strong! I think if this player came to Evo or the other tournaments, it would be very exciting addition alongside Arslan. Such amazing players coming through, and i guess it’s only a good thing to set the bar higher, and all the players in S.Korea, Japan, U.S and other countries can see there’s more left in the tank!
Look, I don't go around dissing people with their styles or from whom they lost to. In this case, Arslan is definitely the current gold standard since he beats out Knee everytime. One thing I would like to note though, he is not invincible. He seems to revel in safe play and poking and, from my humble observations, a weakpoint seems to be, well, unsafe high risk/reward plays. Chanel pretty much exploited it to no end earlier this year, and boalove did as well. Long story short, I still think that Arslan has a beeline for TWT Champion this year, however, anything can happen. Throughout all the losses, I'm still backing Knee, but Arslan, for now, is just all that much better than Knee in compact play, and usually in high level play, that is paramount IMHO.
Knee can't beat Arslan because his style is too similar, safe play is why he ends up a consistent winner at tournament. Arslan has the advantage as he is younger and faster than him and Arslan is devoted to 2 characters full time. Knee puts himself under immense pressure counter picking out of 10+ characters but its the way he enjoys the game. Arslan can struggle against players who can ignore his style and disrespect his frames, players like JimmyJTran who usually lose to players like Knee and Anakin can blow him up. If Arslan loses at tournament I think it will be in the earlier stages against lower ranked players.
We should as a community sponsor a tekken pro representative to go around to all of the countries and test out the players in their scenes there and see if any other hidden monster countries like Pakistan exist for tekken.
Honestly, Awais Hani might be even better than Arslan. They are pretty much dead even when they play, and recently Awais beat Chikurin 10-0! That's unheard of.
@Zayed Haroon Do you have a brain? I am just telling chikurin got sick and went to the hospital and you are changing the topic. Anyway awais just recently got sponsored by genuine gaming. He is now saints team mates. I cant wait to see awais against other top players. Super Akouma Vs awais will be sick.
Just a point to remember, underused players like Julia and lei etc when people play with them the opponent is also slowly getting used to playing against them too, so the learning goes both ways :)
No exaggeration,in Tekken 3 arcades 🇵🇰 kids risked getting physically abused by their Asian dad's in public for playing this game and not studying to become a doctor. Not even Knee's 🇰🇷 origin has that layer of pain and humility attached to it.
I started playing Tekken 3 when I was 10. In Pakistan, not only Tekken, gaming scene is on another level. I have scene some great players quit gaming due to lack of sponsorship. It is quite unfortunate but now the waves should change. I'm hopeful.
Competitive games are crazy popular in Pakistan. PUBG, COD, CS, TEKKEN, FIFA. Rarely you see people who play AAA games/story driven games ( God of War, Red Dead, Uncharted etc. )
@@jp0678 I've played tekken like ages ago and always liked it but I haven't played T7 and never really was good at the game but the tournaments look really amazing.
I'll tell you a thing. If one day tournaments become accessible for people that live under the tropic of cancer, you will get surprised on how many awesome players exists out there.
Being a Pakistani, I can easily say that these young Pakistanis got the skills to beat world top players but they seriously lack sponsors to travel and compete. Arsalan got one from UAE and now the world knows him. Gaming industry in Pakistan is still at early phase and people usually are discouraged to play games after a certain age. Let's hope our government take some initiative to bring these players to international exposure which can change the outlook of entire industry and people's thinking about playing games and earning big.
Seems like the unorthodox play/high risk aggression "beats" Arslan. I don't think you can match him in the "tekken basics" bc he's just better. Which is why he lost to Boa Luv (spelling) from what I heard he played very aggressive and high risk. But I'm not experienced enough in Tekken to say this is the answer, just an observation:)
I was discussing the same thing on reddit the other day, unorthodox playstyle is his weakness. He relies on reading opponents and if someone's crazy enough to go for the kill against arslan, he might even make it.
Alex C Actually Ash is bad against 50/50 so a good Lei will always give his probs. That’s why Knee chose Kaz to force 50/50 mix ups. Willing to bet if Knee got to warm his Kaz up that set would’ve looked way different.
@@_Dee2nd Only problem was Knee barely applied 50/50s and yielded no results. Boa Luvb plays like a madman, something Knee might have to consider doing next time
@@_Dee2nd Knee never plays like that with Kazuya ever though. In my opinion, I don't think it mattered. Even in a FT10, I'd still take Arslan over Knee simply cause he refuses to take risks.

He has one already, this just makes it easier

Lei is pretty strong character imo and damn are these Pakistani tekken players on another level. Almost like pride troopers from dbs
1:18 it looks as if Lei's Hand was reaching into kazumi's portrait.
I really hope more people just start to play Lei
Me too lei mains up!
I play him using t3 playstyle and no one has survived lol

Lei is a stoner so he sleeps all day
I am from South America region and just faced 3 different Lei players today in ranked (deal with all that cheese with Kazuya was a pain in the ass), so he is quite popular in some places apparently.

I love Lei Wulong, but I'm not gonna lie, I never had trouble playing as Lei, in fact, back in the day, he used to be my second best character, before I started learning the tougher characters like the Mishimas, Lee and Bryan, I also 100% agree with Mainman when he says Lei has potential, crazy potential in fact, this is the best Lei has been since fucking Tekken Tag 1.
i dont even play tekken , i dont even like fighting games .

This dude makes Lei look tight and proves some of my thoughts about my main.
@@chinogambino9375 no arguments there my friend. Currently, at high level play, he is a rung higher than Knee.
That's unheard of.
chikurin is already suffering from food poisoning in that match.
@Zayed Haroon chikurin went to the hospital. did arslan went to the hospital?
@Zayed Haroon what hell are you talking about. i am just saying here that chikurin is sick in that match and even went to the hospital.
There should be TWT events in Brazil. You would see truly hidden gems. Problem is we cant pay plane tickets

Competitive games are crazy popular in Pakistan. PUBG, COD, CS, TEKKEN, FIFA. Rarely you see people who play AAA games/story driven games ( God of War, Red Dead, Uncharted etc. )

This Lei gave me goosebumps 😍
I'm curious about what other countries are quietly breeding monsters - Tekken's gonna get even more exciting in the years to come
I know a gaming gang in Pak who thinks of Arslan as noob as he can't meet their level of game play, but i appreciate Arslan
I don't know what you mean, I see him absolutely partying there
Being a Pakistani, I can easily say that these young Pakistanis got the skills to beat world top players but they seriously lack sponsors to travel and compete. Arsalan got one from UAE and now the world knows him. Gaming industry in Pakistan is still at early phase and people usually are discouraged to play games after a certain age.
Let's hope our government take some initiative to bring these players to international exposure which can change the outlook of entire industry and people's thinking about playing games and earning big.
damn doing perfect to Arslan, didnt expect that at all
That lei known as ali is so cool but he cant defeat arsalan ash
Boa Luvb plays like a madman, something Knee might have to consider doing next time
bt. I agree, which is way I said if he got to warm up his Kaz it’d be different.
@@_Dee2nd Knee never plays like that with Kazuya ever though. In my opinion, I don't think it mattered. Even in a FT10, I'd still take Arslan over Knee simply cause he refuses to take risks.
