Watched this video. @alltimeszzz found one more thing on 12:36 - after this health replenish you can also stay in drunken stance. And move forward to next repuken - embeded "sidestep" will walk around repuken and then back to same line. Timing is quite wide. But after that you need to SS-cancel.

your Lei exploitation is really optimal on all criteria. I have not yet seen a UA-cam channel that examines all possible situations with Lei in such detail, thank you for helping Lei's players to improve. For me you are the best on UA-cam to learn how to use Lei well...
Good video my friend. Little suggestion: 1. SNK 4 on hit is punishable by generic d4 in short distance. Sometime Lei can evade using SNK 1+2 2. The most sure, but the most difficult combo from ch 4 is ff2 S! Dash f3,1 f,n+2 ff3,4 for 63 point damage 3. Vs Hadooken, Reppuken and Darkwave ff+3+4 pass over 4. After some move like d1 or db2 on block and FC df2 on hit, uf1 pass under high puch and magic 4. But depend on the character. For example vs Heiachi Lei pass under. Vs Kazumi pass under just after d1 or db2 5. After df1+2~f TGR vs some character ws4, Lei can sstep changing style. The timing is very difficult because you can't buffer the input, but it works. 6. After a hit like 1 or df1 or uf1 or f3,1 Lei can make a punch trap using 3+4~1_2_3_4. Need great advantage to block the opponent input. It's a mind game. But sometime can be used. Update, here but i knew leroy wouldnt be on it yet cause just like negan they only showed him and nonthing of his gameplay and moves, rage arts, rage drive attacks neither, so no leroy til later date. Lei main is me and all that matters anyways, but i think "us" lei mains might be a lil glad at what to expext from this ORIGINAL character "Leroy Smith". Guys finally I finded the string. It's from the first part of lei's 10 hit combo: b ,1,2,1 and the second 1 is a launcher If you hit an opponent who is turning his back
@alltimeszzz 6:42 how do you perform this snake stance parry where Lei performs the SNK 4 launcher right after? Whenever I attempt this parry, all he does is spin while moving his opponent to the side. I even tried mashing 4 right after the parry but nothing happens. Is it a special command?
@@joyphoenix6176 Sorry meant Drunken. but thats what I been trying. I went to training mode and literally mash 4 right after the Drunken punch parry lands but it does not perform the launcher animation. Is there a timing to it?
@@bodler actually the thing is lei's drunken stance parry has 2 phases 1st is where he does the parry with only f3+4 with this lei only can punch parry and goes around his opponent and he doesn't gets anything, but his 2nd phase is where he gets free 4, command is f3+4 and hold f..Try this m sure u will get it by now

This is pure GOLD! I'm new to the character, so I can't figure out how to double backdash in tiger stance...is it F B F? 'cause that doesn't seems to work for the wall setups, but maybe I'm doing it wrong :0
When I try DF2/UF4, F31, 1+21, 41, FF34; I cant seem to reach them properly at the end with the kicks, it wont connect properly or They roll out of it. Am I just slow or something, or is it some season 3 stuff?
you got it, I'm german :D first time playing Lei was in Tekken 6, I mained Marduk and Lei in TTT2, in Tekken 7 I played Lei a lot after he got released

Last month at a local tournament I noticed how much overthinking hurts in a ft2 offline set. I hope with season 3 Leis gameplan will be a little bit more straight forward.
rehan ali Oh I think he does use it. If I remember right he puts some focus on panther and fn1212 Counter Hit and single fn1. But yeah he isnt using a lot of stances, very basic Lei
a simple backdash will defeat anything lei does...a double backdash makes lei unplayable, he has to work hard to even get a contact on the opponent and must block if he doesn get the hit, leaving him volnurblle, sucks that they mmake such a fun character that is only viable if your on fuckng durugs, why nobody show me how th fuck lei is easy and cheesy? ONE BAckddash. KO
lei is remarkably slow, he has too many frames in way to many moves, there is nothing he does that is safe, and will be eaten alive is caught by those moves, his mix up means nothing unless you are creative and must never do the same moves twice, because they are minus all the time, he has no clutching power, he has no safe mid launchers, hard to punish with and makes for a character that can only face opponenets up close even then he is hard to play with. why is everybpody thinking this guy is good. i played for a year try everything. if i pick up any other character i never feels as exposed as i am with lei
It's all down to how you play really, Lei definitely isn't for everyone but for those that do take to him like myself... Find him interesting with the amount of options you have and you can be as creative as you want with him! Like I said though he doesn't suit everyone's play style 😎

that's not snake stance parry, it is a drunken punch parry, after the parry all u need to do is press 4

What's the trick in getting the extra step out on the tiger wall oki. Trying to practice the wall setup but getting clipped in the low wake-up kick.

I played season 1 on ps4 but I'm not active there anymore. But I think if the damand is high enough I can set it up for some fights.
