To be fair, the possibility to be Queen regent alongside your actual love in which both of you survive and rule all of Ferelden is pretty sweet. As a male Warden, all I get to be is King Consort by marrying Anora (and Anora immediately refers to you as "Prince Consort" instead, which may be her immediately trying to renege and take back some of your power)... and Anora ain't my idea of a good lover.
Born a bastard child, sent and raised by the Chantry, placed in the throne against his will, then asked to perform a dark ritual considering his lifelong experience with Templar duties with an apostate whom he "loathes" so much. Not sure if I'm to laugh at him or what!

Worst moment of the game in my opinion. Even if I was a guy and Alistair was my friend, I would never force this on him: If something terrible ever happened, I’d always suffer the consequences myself, and save my friends from it

i literally started a female mage playthrough just to play this and find out that this extra scene is a mod LOL, i added it though, now i can replay it w my female character, i love it! lol
In the base game it goes straight to the awkward sex scene between Morrigan and Alistair. Since it reuses the same animations as the Warden, Alistair looks pleased the entire time.

Not to put the couple through that stress; Seriously they down played Morrigan's intelligence. She really deeply cared for her friend she would not do that to her. She is also a very private woman. Logically, my fav woman in the game would have banged the other warden without anyone knowing about it. With hindsight her friends having suspicions on what she did.

well, it becomes less so in Inquisition. the child will change Morrigan completely, she will shelter him from all of her own influences, and the child (Kieran) will be raised like a noble in the courts of Orlais. The old god soul will also be removed and Kieran will be free.
Despite ominous name, so far in the series I didn't see any drawbacks from allowing the DR to happen. It was easy choice for me, because in my "canon" I did romance Morrigan, so whatever.
