Rescheduling isn't going to cut it. Most Americans want it fully legalized.

@@rockfresh5359 It should be 26 states. If it's legal in over half of the country then the federal government should respect the fact that a majority of the country wants it. It took 12 years to get to 24 states so hopefully it's fully legalized within the next 10 years. I have a feeling that the federal government is going to fight legalization as long as possible.

They know it kills people. That’s the point. It also leads to a lot of legal trouble, and addiction. Pot is harmless to a degree. They also know this. It’s designed that way. Lock you up for a plant, but allow you to buy a fifth of vodka at 2 pm on Wednesday.
Changing the schedule would actually make it more restricted than it is in legal states. Put it in the same class as alcohol or smokes.
Alcohol laws for weed would be fine with me but not the smokes..lol The taxes would kill my extra cash.
I am Mexican and I used to have a B1 visa for tourism, the last time I wanted to cross I was high with some weed, which I smoked when I was still in my country Mexico where consumption is federally legal. I was always told that Homeland Security should never lie to them, so when they asked me if I had smoked weed I answered yes calmly, the Homeland Security officer let me know that although it was legal in some states it was illegal by federal law and that he would have to revoke my Visa and that's how I lost my Visa and the officer also told me that they were going to punish me for 5 years and that after that time I would go to the American consulate for a new visa, 10 years have already passed twice as long as That was supposed to be the punishment, but I don't dare go try to get a new visa, I know they will never give it to me again, if I had known what would happen I would have lied about my consumption.
As an American, I'm ashamed to hear this happened to you. It's a medicinal herb and never should have been demonized in the ways it is. I hope they expunge your record so you can travel freely again when we finally make the real thing legal here. We're an inch away, you can buy Delta 8 and other hemp products (which will fuck you up) at gas stations in every American town I've been to lately, and there are only 12 states that don't have medical marijuana. Older generations here tend to be the ones who oppose it, most people 50 and under are on board :)

I got put in jail for just having 6 grams of flower and have had to pay a fine over $1500.. the officers reason why is because I lied about having it and they called a K-9 unit to sniff it out. They are some a-holes about marijuana especially in texas

I’m thinking if it gets rescheduled then I think the federal government will recognize its medicinal benefits and if we get a prescription from a dr then I think we would be in the clear and if it gets descheduled then it would be like alcohol kinda seems like it’s going to get descheduled since dot is already working on the saliva testing soo that’s what I’m hoping for!!!

What sucks is I’ve always been a drinker and I never liked weed till recently I had pick up smoking ( from a vape pen) and all I would need is a couple of hits and I was feeling good about two weeks in I had stopped drinking alcohol and about a month into smoking weed I had dropped 65lbs and my health was getting better but then I went back to driving commercially and I don’t want to risk my lively hood so I’m back to drinking and yep I definitely feel that alcohol is way worse then weed

Didn't the 2018 Farm Bill virtually make it legal already by making the production and sales of high percentage THCA hemp legal, given that THCA isn't psychoactive on it's own or a controlled substance, but converts to Delta 9 THC when exposed to heat?

No Urine or swab testing does that.
