Really hard to get it on camera, at least on mine 😔 but it pretty straight forward, attach the cable to power mod board (blue side up) and press it in head tracker bay, it only goes in one direction 😉
Some answers: - About favorite channels, you can add them and change order in TBS Agent X, as well do other things, like OSD and Sound on/off, set lap timer settings - Power mode will be needed for HDO as well if you intend to use CRSF WiFi connectivity. For those who use head tracker, will need to do some extra steps and solder - Fusion is on latest FW available (0.21 at the moment filmed was latest) - CRSF functionality isn't available yet - FW 0.22 have Fusion mode on/off in settings - To get Fusion in boot loader mode, hold down joystick (my laptop bricked on updating)
Thanks for posting . No way I’m doing the power mod but looks like you can use the module without power mod if you are not using the WiFi features so I’ll just do that for now
it's for now, just quick one. Will put them inside goggles, as the wire isn't in middle on moddle side, due to connector placement, so wouldn't look nice if left outside
Great job on the video. Power mod kills this module for me. Not opening my HDOs to hide that ugly ribbon cable. What a stupid thing to ruin what would otherwise be a nearly perfect module. Thanks for the unboxing.
the power mod is only required with HDOs/HD3s IF you plan to use the fusion's wi-fi capability, which hasn't been fully explained yet, but initial assumptions begin with OTA firmware updates like how the CRSF modules and receivers do now. so out of the box, you can use the fusion module in HDOs/HD3s without the power mod. lots of people are equating this "power mod" to the mod required to simply power up, say, the RapidFire + Dom V3, etc.. this "power mod" is not the same thing.
@@digitalflyfpv6688 updating firmware is a person's individual choice. just because it's there, doesn't mean u have to. u should see Wayne's video how he tunneled the aux power cable from one side to the other without opening up the goggles.
Awesome. Would you mind showing the power mod install procedure? Thanks for the first review. Hopefully you can get out and get some dvr. :)

@@gc9n I'm aware, it showed up today. Updating now
is the power cable still required if you have done the L1 and L10 mod to your googles
@@rjredd yes, if you want CRSF WiFi connection. This is what I'm aware
How do I know if the power cable worked?
So ita safe to power up the module without installing the antennas? Won't it not fry the cristals?
Yes, for it's RX, not transmitting. VTX you shouldn't power without antenna
@@OGeeFPV So the module on the Fatshark's receiving not transmitting? Ok... now i know.

For HDO yes, no need for power mode if not using wifi
OGee what is this “power mod “ everyone talking about ?
That extension going from second module bay ;)
Are you leaving wires exposed or will you install in goggles?

@@OGeeFPV thanks for the video. would be nice if you film the installment :)
Mine keeps beeping every like 5 seconds how do i make it stop
Cool video post later some footage to see how is the reception thanks

Sa Gô so I won’t have to do any firmware updates out of the box if I buy theses? I can just plug it in to some HDOS and go fly ?
