I wish they taught this in school. I found out about EQ during the pandemic and it's all true. You could even do a follow-up video on what actions improve your EQ and what bad actions decrease your EQ.
Yes I wish they did too! I also started to become interested in it he last few years too and it's positively changing how I live my life ♥️ Great minds think alike! I've added examples of high and low EQ actions on the upcoming videos of this series! 😊
Something that we havent been taught in school 🥹 Thank you for putting up these series Demi!!! Ive been working on my EQ for the past 3 years and there are still so much to learn! Though I’m glad I started now than later because it has given me so much peace 🥰
Awww it would be so nice to sit down and chat about what we've learnt about together!! I agree it's a life long journey developing our emotional intelligence. But you're right after learning about it and my own emotions I definitely feel happier and feel at ease ♥️
yay!! loved this class 🙌🏼 going to do the Emotional intelligence test now! cannot wait for next Wednesday's class 😍!!! thanks for condensing a whole lot of info into very digestable videos 🥹! you're amazing!
Uhh sh.. teacher came up.. was almost hit with anxity when you pointed that pen at me... Not gonna lie was waiting for you to smack me aswell, flickering it around so much :P Personally have not done the test, but from what you talked about it feels like i struggle with air and fire, and okay with earth and water, not always but better in them for sure. Once again love to see that passion talking about it, your smile tells it all. Will be interesting to see where it will take me, and what might learn. Thanks for doing this kinda serious topics. Have a wonderful easter
Aww thank you so much!! Hahaha I wanted to try a different way in explaining things and yes you're right I'm very interested and passionate about this topic. It's interesting to know what people score in thanks for letting me know! I hope you have a wonderful week and Easter 🤗✨
This is too clinical of an approach to me. Obviously you're a medical doctor which justifies why you would look in that direction first, but I would like to tell you why I feel that way. It's like you're trying to teach a child how to walk by giving them a biomechanics class on the human body. Without ever having them try to make use of their body in the first place. The way I learned emotionally was through finding my own intuition and following itw actually making use of the structures in my brain that are designed for this, without the prior knowledge of how my brain works. If you really want to teach people to grow more emotional intelligence, then you have to first make them access their own emotions and empathy, and try to figure things out for themselves, before you can teach them more abstract concepts. In most cases this is precisely what is lacking, and you can't just understand intellectually and apply it directly, you have to experience it first hand
I completely agree! That's why if you happened to complete the video you'd know how I explained that I will split this emotional intelligence series into 5 classes to tackle each one in more depth with action points. I'll be explaining that developing EQ is a journey based on our experiences and lessons. I agree taking action is highly important but for those that have been taking action and still not able to make progress or are curious on EQ as a concept then I explain these things as it interests me. I talk about our human nature, how I‘ve taken action & what I've experienced ~ this is my personal channel. People are so unique and have their own ways of learning and improving EQ. I only hope to help others on their journey by sharing mine 😊
