- Just wanted to see how good a replica greddy bov from ebay is and it wasn’t as bad as i expected it sounds good but it’s not as loud as my stock bov what are your thoughts?

tighten the spring. Its too soft and wide open. When you tighten it, it opens partially and get a better whistle.
I still think the Fake Turbo thingy on EBay sounds better 😂😂😂😂
I think a cool idea would be a half blow off valve that only opens a bit...so you get a bit off flutter without risking to much when running more boost
Or just a piece you put on top to make thats sound...thats sounds like it would sell well💲💲
I could actually do that diy just put something under the piston or extend it so it doesnt fully open
So after full throttle you get a tiny flutter
look up a diverter valve

I’m not sure if I’m reading it right but if that’s a spectre intake for you’re benefit I say change it to a better filter, I had one on a 2016 challenger and I noticed it has a way better sound but you actaully lose power with those intakes, I also saw a video of someone who dynoed there car with that intake and they lost lots of power
probably because it gets heat soaked, a good intake is one in a box away from heat

yea but it won’t be as loud, i would recommend you atleast get a filter to hear maximum turbo noise!

So it still worked even though the adapter air holes don’t match up with the holes on the car? I’m trying to find the right bov for my Optima but I bought the wrong one where the air hole is to the side and doesn’t line up
if you are buying a bov you have to buy the adapter for your car

Installed mine exactly the same but it either doesn't always make the hiss or does it twice. Removed the smaller spring since it didn't vent at all earlier. Any tips?

Nah. The spring doesnt hold the boost. At least not in a valve like this. The valve is held closed with booth pressure from the intake manifold.

Kia turbos push up to 17lbs of boost max. Typically between 10-15 lbs
yea that’s right around where it is i think with a tune it brings it to 19 or 20 i could be
