Fredo is a big manipulator. That was never your friend girl. He is using the fact that she thought he was on drugs as a crutch so he does not have to actually address the fact that he really left his friend in a bad spot and let her lose $1200. He really does not even like her.

Ghosting someone is a problem after he made a commitment with money involved. The thought of drugs came after he ghost her because as close as they were she believed it had to be something extreme that’s going on. She found out he was just being childish and didn’t speak up. He was dead ass wrong and he used the drug as a reason to deflect on what the hell he did. Periodeeet.

Fredo is the king of gaslighting, and I really wish she would stop falling for his shenanigans. He literally dropped off the face of the Earth after making a commitment to her to share an apartment, which I’m sure put her in a predicament to where she ended up being responsible for 100% of the rent. Adding insult to injury, he then blocked her, and then he had the audacity to come on the stage saying that SHE should have been reaching out to HIM. HOW, when you have effectively cut her out of your life?! Now, he is trying to make HER feel guilty for his dirty deeds. Fredo backing up makes sense. Asking a man (claiming ur only friends) to move in with you and your kid is a BIG commitment. My guess is he doesn't want that extra responsibility (especially if they aren't connected romantically) of having a kid in the house. That's gonna change the dynamic and freedoms that he has, regardless of what people say. Its so odd not many folks watching this can process that lol. She needs to be pressuring her kid's father to move in. She and Fredo have probably messed around, too. That's probably why he was so annoyed with her fronting on camera. There's something off about her innocent exterior. Not buying it girl. Find a female friend to move in with if it matters that much. There's something more to this 100%.
The mom in the first part is so REFRESHING. I know she made her mistakes and they had a big impact on her boys, but she loved them enough to give them a genuine apology and she’s actively trying to be a better person and parent. I wish my mom was like that.

If he had been her daughter, and not her son, she would have done the same thing. She was strung out, and the oldest child, no matter the gender, often winds up having to act like they are the parent. There’s nothing unusual about that.

as much as I should be glad for this lady that she is drug free now, just because she's drug free and doing all right does not mean that everyone around her who is impacted is going to be all right. She had kids that got dragged through this mess and they're going to have those kind of memories for the rest of their lives, regardless or whether or not Kelly is all right. Believe me I know what I'm talking about.
And that’s what Karamo is trying to heal for them. Is with understanding it, acknowledging and talking openly about those memories your heart and body will start to heal.

Yes they will always have the memories but that's doesn't mean they all can't move past this and have a healthy mother-son(s) relationship. Therapy would help them tremendously. But that's just my opinion. I like to resolve issues because who has time to be bitter and hateful. It's exhausting.

If anything it makes it even worse that he wasn’t on drugs because that just means he was of sound mind when he chose to ghost his friend and leave her high and dry. I think what was a key point that was missing from Fredo’s conversation was the part that he felt as though he had to be a father figure or play “Dad”, which I think is what REALLY needed to be cleared up. From what was told they were just friends, but feeling as though one may have to play a parental role, ON TOP OF, moving in like I can see where he got upset enough to ghost. No justification but there just wasn’t enough context from Fredo’s side about how he felt about their relationship to really apply the lesson of maturity in moving in together. Because it is her lesson as well, I am not certain why she thought it was best to live with her friend when she had a child… especially one that isn’t invested in her partner in raising her children. Like she HAD to know that would be the reality of sharing a space, because she has been a mom for some time. But when Fredo’s began to speak on the nature of their relationship, she began to cut him off before he could really explain what it is. And I’m not certain why she went first if HE wrote to the show…. so idk I’m not certain what went on here but I wish the best for all parties!

I feel so bad for the children of Drug Addicts being robbed of their childhood due to the selfish act of their parents.
Addiction is an illness like any other,no one is immune to it. It more often than stems from trauma. Believe me when I say,I GUARANTEE that mother will carry guilt for the rest of her days. Yes,she made a selfish decision. But is anyone perfect? I'm a professional psychologist so I understand the complexity of it

The fredo/Cassie ghosting thing doesn’t make sense. Why is HE so mad at her? I get that he doesn’t want to grow up- and that she maybe kept talking about his drug use to anyone who would ask about him. But she was probably worried and wanted people to look out for him. That’s the consequence of blocking someone - you leave them guessing why. Act like a child be treated like one- Frodo. but he went along with moving in together. Then after 12 years of BFF he deletes her from his life without incident? That’s sus to say the least. Plus acting like her daughter doesn’t matter or exits? What I see is that if you make plans with someone and they are not meeting you half way with making plans a reality - for example the $ 1200 deposit- they need don’t want to do it as much as you. No offense but a young single guy should not be moving in with his friend and her child. He would never feel comfortable bringing other friends over or even being loud if he wants and if he’s of age and using something that is legal in his state any mother would not want that around her child and only he can change himself. All of the pleadings from her will only work if he wants it to work.

I feel like they didn’t say a key thing that would have helped Fredo get what was going on. If my BEST FRIEND of many years suddenly ghosted me after making a big decision with me, I would be thinking there was no way they’d do that to me if they were in their right mind. It doesn’t sound like she had a lot of evidence to go off but it makes sense she’d look for another explanation for what was extremely unusual behavior in the context of a best friendship.
