    This episode reminds me of two important things: It’s easier to mend a relationship with a child than a heartbroken adult ( who has to protect their hurt inner child).

      💯💯 you're absolutely right!!! I wish more young men looked at the issue this way 😔 bc there are way too many young women raising children without any help from the fathers and it makes me sick!! Why wont these men be apart of these kids lives from birth bc once that child becomes an adult it'll be just as hard (if not harder) to form a trusting relationship with them bc they'll most likely be harboring so much resentment towards their dads 🙄 SMFH 🤦🏽‍♀️

      @@Mecca1204 Close your leg's, or take birth control. Also, many men are taken advantage of and are lied to by these same women about not being able to get pregnant. How could a bond form if your only dating and not married to each other? Yet, it's alway's the man's fault! This is a major reason why men are leaving the west and finding real love overseas. We all tired of the games and manipulation of women.

Men’s emotions get overlooked so often. This is a prime example here. He took accountability then what? Still rejected. Come on! How much can a human handle when their previous trauma. Don’t you think it’s odd he never told his kids there was a paternity test proving her to be his child and how he hesitated when asked about it? He reminds me of my father who is often incredibly insensitive with his words and actions and gives no forethought to how it might come across to other people. I had to finally accept that my relationship with him will never be one where I feel emotionally supported because he’s not that kind of person. Both are ALSO triggered by abandonment and rejection. I think this woman is hard pressed on being angry and making him jump through hoops. As i read through these comments, I can't help but feel for this girl. People are saying she has a stank attitude or saying it's the mother's fault, there's such a lack of empathy for her, the pain she experienced, is still experiencing, the rejection she's felt. Even the sister corroborated the pain. I can say there's NOTHING a person could say to keep me away from my child.
    Yes, there are trifling women who make it extremely difficult for a man to be an active participant in their children's lives, but there are plenty of women who are very accommodating, yet the men don't even try. It's not a child's responsibility to it's our as parents to build and maintain relationships. It's our responsibility as parents to not cause pain like she is feeling. She didn't make the decision to be born but is paying for the decisions both parents made.
    My son had this experience. As long as i was willing to put up with the bs from his father, he was "dad." As soon as i stopped, the relationship stopped. It shouldn't be that way.

    This reminds me of my father and I, and it’s sad cause I understand how she feels. Always feeling like you don’t exist compared to your other sibilings, not going to the family gatherings cause most of them don’t know or have forgotten about you. It hurts, it really does hurt. They never want to apologize, they play the victim as if they’re not the parent. I pray that pain heals for her, with or without him there.

    It frustrates me that father’s pain and the mother’s family’s wrongdoing to him as a young father wasn’t acknowledged, at all. Yes, he should have ABSOLUTELY done better. NO QUESTION. But despite what SHOULD be, parents have feelings, too. That’s just facts. At least acknowledge it.

    I'm torn on this one because I'm her in the same instance, but I never really got my dad's side of the story. I only can go off of what my mom said, and my dad's OBVIOUS absence. I see he was TRYING to explain, but her anger wouldn't give him a chance. She's lucky to have a sister that cares❤ I have 3, but none of them are speaking to me because of my dad. He definitely could've tried harder for her over the years though. Whew. This is a lot! I wish them the best.

      She's so childish. At least hear his side of the story. The man demonstrated a lot of maturity, plus Karamo was just all about them resolving and moving on. He should have insisted that the man be allowed to say his own side. All the crying is just emotional manipulation.
      The man is wrong, yes we all agree, but context brings clarity.

      @@FadipeEmmanuelI agree that his side should have been heard but to go so far as to say that her crying was “emotional manipulation” is wild asf. Did we watch the same video? Emotional manipulation? I see a little girl looking for her father who chose not to be there.

      @@z.z9255 Who "chose"?
      The way I see it, your perspective is based on one sided story.
      Personally, I have no opinion till I hear all the sides to the story. Yeah, saying the crying is manipulation is wild, I agree. Still there's the danger of a single story. Each time the man tried to say anything, she shut him up with emotional antics, if that's not immature and manipulative, I wonder what else is.

    Everyone is coming for the father like it was all his fault. Men have feelings. No one is looking at what he had to endure, what the mother and mother's family put him through. She has rejected him on several occasions and disrespected him on several occasions. If he tries and she rejects his attempts, the ball is now in her court.

  • @kelipeterson5231
    @kelipeterson5231 Рік тому +6

    The only thing I wish would have happened here is that they went back and acknowledged the Dad’s hurt. He started crying in the end. Men’s emotions get looked over for the exact reason of what happened on this stage. Yes he’s stubborn. Yes he was wrong. However, he did apologize. She didn’t acknowledge his apology. He kept trying to speak about his pain but no one wanted to hear it. You cannot heal a relationship if the focus is solely on the child. Adults can have arrested development themselves and need their inner child healed. This man has once again experienced rejection and it was done publicly. I would have love to have seen both of their pain acknowledged and not just him being asked for an apology but allow him to speak about his traumatic experiences as well. The healing is for the both of them individually and together. God bless them both.
