He keeps saying he was young but didn't he say he was older than the mother? Imagine how hard it was for her to raise that young man by herself and she never got a chance to use the cop out of "being young". These sorry men kill me 😒.

I really didn’t see the dad as making excuses. He told his truth, but kept getting asked the same questions differently as if expecting a different answer. So of course if he says the same thing 6 times, it’s because that was the original answer. He might have been older than the mom, but men do mature at a different rate than women so him being older doesn’t make him more mature.

Nah, the dad is just a walking tower of excuses. He did for his other kids. They lived down the street from each other. He is just trifling. He has made enough excuses for himself. He does need anyone to excuse his cowardly behavior.

I can tell that Dad really doesn’t know how to emotionally process or respond vulnerably. He is very much in his head about a lot of things! It’s obvious no one ever taught him how to tap into his heart space or to verbalize what he feels ..
The SUN shows a balance of logic and emotion which why karmo could tell the roles would quickly switch to him parenting his dad .
The message of this episode is to make sure you demonstrate to your children;, male or female , about how to attain an emotional and mental balance .. Spiritual connection is also important..
I can tell they’ll be ok . Once dad’s nerves are settled he’ll be great. I also wish they brought his siblings on the show , just to get more insight into who Dad has become fr. Anywho , great episode Karamo make sure we get an update 🙌🏾🫶🏾

I was a single parent for 18 years. Right before my child turned 19 years old she ran into her sperm donor at the mall. Only to build a relationship with him and find out that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.. he died shortly after.. and then I was diagnosed with crohn's disease.. this man clearly is running from his responsibilities and it has a lot to do with financial, I'm glad to see that he is on in the life is too short these kids are truly traumatized behind absent fathers!!

I think Dad is afraid of rejection. Dad has a lot of pain too. Not making excuses on dad being out of his life. But clearly Dad has some confident issues and seems like he wrestles with himself with guilt and shame that keeps him paralyzed in his past, instead of using the guilt and shame to move him to do better!!! However, I’m happy he is trying to repair the relationship with his son. I just hope the dad gains emotional stability to keep the relationship with his son. Dad honestly needs therapy in my opinion to keep this relationship healthy!!!

I didn't have my biological dad in my life.............. and I don't care. That's not lip service either, I honestly do not care. My mother was a crackhead too so I didn't have any biological responsible parents.
Yrs ago, my biological dad reached out to me IN TEARS. I never asked, "Why weren't you there for me?! Because I honestly didn't care. He BEGGED me for forgiveness and w/o hesitation, I granted him his request.
YHVH was my dad. And He raised me well. And I wouldn't exchange my Father in heaven for your father on earth.

I believe this wasn’t all for a show! I believe he honestly knew he messed up and want to have a relationship with his son. He actually was in pain as well.
I saw the look in eyes and was surprised not a tear dropped but i saw the the watery eyes. We can truly be lost in any given situation! I truly hope that he stays in contact with his son so that they can get to know each other more and build the best relationship ever!
