Bee, thanks for this video. I have been using Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax, because many youtubers, maybe you, recommended the spray? One youtuber has gotten 18 months protection out of the Griot's, plus it's relatively an expensive, about $1.00 per oz.
Griots 3-1 is fantastic also and I doubt you will get 18 months protection out of topper but 3 months for sure and re applying it is as easy as spray and wipe it’s the only thing I use for my final wipe down the slickness and hydrophobic properties are great! Happy detailing
@@big-redsdetailingcliffords2379 I would encourage you to watch the video from Scoot HD in Texas test this product. I am not saying it will last 18 months, But Scott said it lasted 18 months in his testing. I would use the Griot's before winter and again in the spring after our harsh winters here in the Hartland. The Griot' have been approved by Pan, Apex, & FAB as a product to look at.
@HARTLAND DETAILER You're welcome. Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax is a great product and I have done some testing with it. Personally I feel that if you are wanting a standalone paint protection then the Griot's 3 in 1 would be the best choice over Topper. But if you already have Griot's 3 in 1 applied and you are looking to boost it to keep the protective layer of it going and need a quick and easy to use product then Topper would be a great choice to pair up with the Griot's 3 in 1.
Griot’s ceramic speed shine is the perfect ‘topper’ for Griot’s 3 in 1.
The 3 in 1 is a great sealant for every 6-8 months in real world daily drivers.
@Jay Houghton There is all kinds of great 'toppers' it really just comes down to what you prefer and if you want to 'keep it in the family' I personally haven't used Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine so I can't say much on that product.
I personally found that the Griot's 3 in 1 will give you a good solid 6 months of protection but can be a bit tricky to apply and can leave high spots compared to Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating that will also leave a good solid 6 months of protection but is a bit more user friendly to use. Really there is no right or wrong product to use it all comes down to what you prefer and like to use.

my go to topper.. was a bead maker fan but in Arizona it seemed to be a dust collector . this stuff not bad at all.
Bead Maker is a fantastic product but can cause a bit of a static charger. I just found out that if you put Bead Maker down and wait 30 minutes and then apply P&S Paint Gloss it will make it an anti static and you wont have the dust collecting problem. But Topper is another fantastic product for sure.
I love topper. Used to use Beadmaker but it was really bad during the pollen time if the year. Great video and nice ride brother
It's an awesome product! I have heard about people having that problem with Bead Maker. I did just find out that if you only use Bead Maker it can cause a static charge and it will collect duct. If you use Bead Maker and then wait 30 minutes and apply P&S Paint Gloss on top of Bead Maker is will give it anti static property's and you wont have that problem again. Both outstanding products though!
If not for the gloss meter I couldn't see a difference, your car is already extremely glossy lol 😆 Wondering how it would do on something that's coated but maybe has lost some of its gloss if it would bring it back? Great review 👍🏼💪🏽
LOL 🤣😂 I have the gloss dialed in pretty good on it! That's why I used the gloss meter and lucky it worked, sometimes the gloss meter can kinda ruin a video but it did great on this one. I have a 2022 f150 Lariat SuperCrew that's black and have a ceramic coating as well as paint protection film on the front of the truck. I have been using carpro reset and a foam Cannon and wash bucket for maintenance washes, and then adding topper for the extra gloss and hydrophobic properties. Should I be using this every time I do a maintenance wash on my truck every two weeks. That is what I've been doing I'm not sure if I'm putting too much on it. Thanks for your videos, I'm learning a lot!
You are using a great soap for maintenance washes. Also using this every two weeks for your maintenance washes is totally perfect. This is a great product to use how you are using it and it will deliver the extra gloss and hydrophobic’s. I personally say you are doing your maintenance washes perfectly. Titan all the way for me. I've used both. Titan is now on Amazon and way cheaper than extreme solutions.

When you apply a topper to a ceramic, doesn't it mask the qualities of the ceramic or does it "enhance" it? I'm just envisioning a layer on top of the ceramic so you are just simply encapsulating the ceramic with the topper. So what would the advantages be to installing a ceramic vile coating and then a topper.....? Just confused with topper concept. your help is appreciated.
That is a great question! So when using a product like this one (Topper) it does have Si02 properties in it just like the ceramic coating. It will not mask the the qualities of the ceramic coating but it will help preserve and protect the coating. A sprayable product like this will not last as long as a coating but it is a great option to apply for maintenance on your existing coating for the ease of use. This is just a sacrificial layer that will take the brunt end of weather elements helping preserve your ceramic coating. Hopefully that helps answer your question.

Did you use it on the glass ? Your car already looks great ,but I did see it put some gloss on it to. Put any on the rims?seriously thinking about trying it.bead maker products are hard to beat & recharge is good to!now c -quartz was a new product sic was thinking about using two coats of that with two coats of c quartz 3.0 ,then maybe two coats of c quartz gliss any have thoughts about that ? I did and used it on all exterior surfaces as well as the wheels. I would say it is a good product and worth trying, I love using it. I also love Bead Maker and that is my other pick. I have C-Quartz UK 3.0 (2 coats) and Gliss (2 coats) on this Charger and the gloss and slickness that it gave it has been insane and I have been really happy with it! That's awesome to hear and I and glad you have been enjoying the videos and find them helpful! Sorry for the late reply.
Once Topper ( Slipstream) cures its hard to beat when it comes to slickness. I think it's as slick or possibly a little slicker than Beadmaker and it doesn't attract dust as quickly. I don't want a drying aid leaving long term protection. This stuff fits the bill perfectly.
It is a really good product for gloss and slickness. For me both Topper and Beadmaker are very close competitors and great products. That is very true for a drying aid and it does fit the bill perfectly. Thanks for watching and commenting!
