Really great advice, Leishyy! Watching you manage your class was like watching a wizard work. It's no wonder that our kids are so wonderful.

My wife and I watched this a few times together. It definitely highlights several of our short comings. With prayer and perseverance we are working to do what you described. Thanks for making this video and sharing your advice.

Hi Ricky! I hope you’re doing well. I haven’t responded to this comment because I feel so inadequate. Thank you for your support. And having a soft enough heart to listen. I know my prayers are answered in the least expected ways. Parenting is a hard gig. And all of us are just trying to be better than we were yesterday.

I wish my parents had been so calm and structured with me as a kid. Anger just breeds more anger and leads to a chaotic environment. I admire your patience and understanding.

You’re right. And so often it is much harder to take the time and patience to calmly teach and listen. But in the long run, it’s so beneficial. We’re all just trying to be a little better than we were yesterday. And I for one, am super thankful my kids are so forgiving.

And this is why Owen, Penny and little Martha (along with all the children's lives you've touched as a teacher) are going to be such amazing humans and bring hope to our planet and future! ❤

This is a great and informative video, you should definitely make more like this. I'm about to have my first child and I can't wait to implement what I've learned from you, to hopefully be a good parent like you and Clint. Thanks, I would also love to hear about the psychology behind all this and how it affects child development!

Step 1: Have the patience of a saint, or a Leisha! On a serious note, my friend raised her son using the 'follow through' and he was very well behaved.

Hahah. Oh dear. A Saint or a Leisha although extremely kind, pretty inaccurate. I’m just super thankful my kids are so forgiving. ♥️
