Hi Ricky! I hope you’re doing well. I haven’t responded to this comment because I feel so inadequate. Thank you for your support. And having a soft enough heart to listen. I know my prayers are answered in the least expected ways. Parenting is a hard gig. And all of us are just trying to be better than we were yesterday.
I wish my parents had been so calm and structured with me as a kid. Anger just breeds more anger and leads to a chaotic environment. I admire your patience and understanding.
You’re right. And so often it is much harder to take the time and patience to calmly teach and listen. But in the long run, it’s so beneficial. We’re all just trying to be a little better than we were yesterday. And I for one, am super thankful my kids are so forgiving.

I'm about to have my first child and I can't wait to implement what I've learned from you, to hopefully be a good parent like you and Clint.
